First time here, and glad we stopped by. The ambience was chill, and decor was beautiful.
Social distancing was clearly in effect, but many didn't wear masks.
My husband and I were going to dine at another restaurant, but I said let's dine at Uncle Jack's Meat house, so we did.
Keatlin was our server and him and his assistant were great. We started off with drinks.
I don't drink, but my husband was given some wine samples to try before we placed our order.
Drinks-I had a lemonade and my husband had a red lager beer. The lemonade was really good.
Appetizers- I love cheese sticks, so I ordered the fried grande mozzarella wedges. You get 2 with your order. My husband is a bacon lover, so he had the apple wood smoked bacon. I don't eat bacon, but my husband ate every piece of the bacon.
Entree- My husband had ordered the 16 ounce New York strip. He also ordered lobster Mac and cheese. I ordered the Atlantic salmon, well done and it was good.
Disliked- The creamy farro risotto was horrible. I tried it and it was bland and disgusting.
Everything else was great, that's why I gave a 4. We will definitely be back soon.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Richard D.Atlanta, GA311256Mar 26, 2024
Only ding I have against them is that they charge a CC surcharge fee without a prominent notification at the entrance. It's in very small print at the bottom of the menu, which I completely missed.
Otherwise, food and service are excellent. Atmosphere is definitely upscale classy with a pretty good selection of spirits at the bar. Date night, casual dinner, or business discussion would all fit in here well.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mar 6, 2024
I met a client for lunch at this restaurant and it was an unreal experience!
For the first time I had thick cut bacon with peanut butter . Oh MY. GOSH! Was it a great and a great combination!
I never thought that I would love it.
I will say what I was told "it sounds weird but it just works. Trust me!"
This is a must!
I also had the chicken breast it had a kick hut it was very delicious. The mashed potatoes were very smoothed and soft.
The waiter was great and he really ensured that we were taken care of. The glass was always full of water, very attentive and cordial.
The restaurant is very clean and plenty of space for a group event for sure.
If you are in the area, stop by and get you some bacon !Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 20, 2024
We were looking for something different for an early lunch and stopped in at Uncle Jack's Meat House for a burger (me) and steak (hubby). The ambiance and decor of the restaurant put a smile on our face immediately and the aromas were getting our mouths watering.
Our server (the bartender) helped us make excellent cocktail (brunch Bloody Mary) and appetizer choices (bacon + peanut butter). We originally wanted the ricotta appetizer but they were out so he suggested we try their bacon "because it was what they were famous for." The bacon was AMAZING - basted in chipotle maple syrup with more on the side you can dunk in, along with peanut butter. Now, I love peanut butter but I have never paired it with bacon before & I don't know why!!!?? It was delicious - somehow it makes the flavor of the bacon more meaty.
We are taking off a star because although our meals were tasty, they were overcooked. We both ordered from the brunch menu. I chose the potatoes and brisket with cheese sauce (I'm pretty sure it was real cheese, too!!!) and egg on top. Hubby ordered the steak & eggs. On both our dishes, we ordered over medium fried eggs and got hard fried eggs - no ooze of yolk anywhere . Hubby's steak was a little overcooked, too; ordered medium rare and received medium-ish closer to well.
We will come back because service and drinks and bacon was fantastic; but we hope the entrees turn out better.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 22, 2023
Amazing food. Amazing place. Michael is a true rockstar here. He took care of us and all the kids along with my mother in law. We have a gluten allergy and he was knowledgeable and the food came out fresh and hot. They even had a great gluten-free bun for my burger. We also had the fillet and lobster tail, lobster tail was OK but the fillet along with the burger was phenomenal. Fries are out of this world, and I've got to say it's one of the best burgers I've ever had, cooked to perfection.
Cheers Michael we appreciate you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 5, 2023
I had the pleasure of being served by Jenny today for Brunch at Uncle Jack's Meat House. She was an attentive, communicative and knowledgeable bartender. A mixologist at her core, Jenny concocted delectable brunch cocktails with less than a 5 minute wait time.
I ordered the crab cake omelet with a house salad topped with vinaigrette dressing on the side. Beyond Amazing!
Intimate ambiance and perfect for dates or dinner with friends. The menu includes a variety of steak options. Fairly priced. No complaints at all!

There isn't much I can say about this establishment. We attempted to dine here on a Saturday night and was asked if we had a reservation. We stated we did not have a reservation. The hostess advised that they had no open seating due to the restaurant having a full house of reservations. We went to another restaurant.
Make sure you call before attempting to dine here. A reservation may be needed.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Keith P.TX, TX0151Apr 16, 2024
Uncle Jack's meat house was a very interesting place. I had beef stroganoff and it was blended with shredded brisket. Never had that away, but it was pretty good and I ended up going back later date for their meatloaf which I was told is different than others. it was definitely different than others not traditional, but it was specialized in. The flavor was good. Went over mashed potatoes nice salad, it was really good and I really liked it a lot. Hope you enjoyed as well giving them five stars.

Disappointed is an understatement. We were excited to try this place but it was really bad. If you market yourself as a "meat house" wouldn't you think they could properly cook meat? My husband's $44 steak was well done and he ordered medium rare. My burger, of which the flavors were very good was ordered medium and also cooked well done. Second time around, his steak was perfect and admittedly quite tasty but mine was now mooing. The popover appetizer was dry, but the pre dinner salad was delish. They tried to make it right by giving us a free brownie sundae but never asked if we had allergies and gave us walnuts all over the plate. The service wasn't terrible and our server was pleasant but overall for such a pricy dinner this fell markedly short.

I have been to this location several times and each time it gets worse. The waitress was very nice but had no clue about the menu. I ordered the filet and it had no taste. For a meal that cost 175$ for two people - the food should be better. I will have to go to the other location for now on. This one has fallen off.
Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 25, 2021Previous reviewSo they have a salted caramel ice cream that is so good and their biscuits are like cake. So I called to place a to-go order for those items and they said they try not to do take out orders on the weekend. The pandemic isn't over. Limiting your business at any time limits your profits. Bad business move.
Mar 27, 2021Previous reviewLively new steakhouse with a relaxed atmosphere and good food. Everything looked and was great. We both ordered the long bone steakhouse and it was perfect! They will wrap the bone so you can give it to your dog.. so great!! Sides are sides. We ordered the mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and vegetable medley. The potatoes were slightly salty bit not too much where you can't eat them. Wish they had a few more lumps. If you like cheese definitely get the macaroni and cheese. It was too cheesy for me and I could taste the gouda which was a turn off for me. The appetizers ..... just buy them all!! I started with the bacon and lamb chops. Kill me now!!! So freakin good! I then ordered the Swedish meatballs and another bacon and the ribs to take home for my mother. You can honestly order the appetizers and make that a meal. Don't do it though - you have to get the steak! The meatballs are not your standard ones and I was pleasantly surprised with them. My overall suggestion skip the sides and get the appetizers.
Will definitely be back within the next 3 weeks to try the 100-day aged steak. - Sep 10, 2023
If you have clean arteries, this is an amazing place to get something meaty!! Service was quick and kind. Loved the atmosphere, the live music was on point. Will definitely return and definitely recommend!
