Shoutout to the team here at Two Tides. From to Landon to Shane to everyone is so patient and helpful in the most chill and relaxing setting that a grocery store could offer.
With our large party of 6 we arrived so hungry for our delicious lunch and left so happy.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 16, 2023
This place is pretty hit or miss. It's a good spot in terms of convenience, since you can grab a bite, some groceries and handle your Amazon returns and not have to sweat where you're going to park because they have plenty of spots and it's free.
The service is pretty awful. The bartenders can somehow ignore you as you sit at the bar right in front of them. The wait time for food and drinks is usually pretty long.
Their oysters are probably the best thing on the menu when they are cheap on Fridays. Otherwise, I'd skip ordering most things.
Their buffalo cauliflower bites are decent if you want to enjoy a vegan version of chicken wings (they don't taste anything like wings except for the sauce).
I had the worst Caesar salad of my life here last night. All it had was romaine lettuce, terrible dressing (it was way too tangy, not creamy at all and there was no hint of anchovies) and croutons. It had no Parmesan cheese!! We asked the bartender about the cheese and he said "we ran out so it's not in the salad". After thinking about it some more, this restaurant is INSIDE a grocery store that sells all the cheese they could ever need and it's 1 grocery aisle away! Super lazy and a bad look for a restaurant.
The cocktails are good depending who's making them. I think Lilly does a great job. The wines are often out of stock (how, when they are inside a store that specializes in wine?)...
Overall it's a good spot if you want a drink after you shop (or before, sometimes it's more fun to drink and then shop) but not really a destination to go for a meal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Got the chance to enjoy raw Oysters and Happy Hour this past Friday at Whole Foods. Got there at 4:30pm and grabbed the last 2 stools along the bar before it got packed. I made sure to put in my order for 2 dozen oysters before they sell out. Still $15/dozen (for Amazon Prime customers)... with the choice of Blue Point (large) or Kumamoto (small). Happy Hour is mentioned in their menu... but wished they had signs that listed details. One HH special is $15 for Fish&Chips & a beer. Selection of beer and wine is great, too. Enjoyed everything during our 2hr stay. Nice way to start the weekend.

Jul 29, 2023Previous reviewOyster Fridays... $15/dozen all day Friday - 11am till sell out. What a deal! Upon entering Whole Foods, make your way to Two Tides Bar behind the cashiers. Bar has really nice drink selection of beer, wine, cocktails... $1 off during Happy Hour 4pm-6pm. Yesterday, we tried the 2 types of Oysters available - both on the smaller side but good (we liked the Kumamotos). Also enjoyed Fish Tacos... good size and delicious. Place gets packed and oysters sell out by 5:30pm last 2 times I've been here... so go earlier. Will definitely be back.

There's no more cauliflower nachos!! I am soo sad they took it off the menu.. the service on Friday is ok. They are slammed and busy with happy hour deals which are $1 off beer and wine. The main reason to come is the oysters!!! So fresh and tasty! There are side condiments to top your oyster to your liking. They also have fish and chips that are sooo good with the side of malt vinegar they serve! I'm coming back for fish and chips + oysters!

Very nice place to meet friends for pupus and beverages. Our cousin's were the one who suggested coming here. It turned out to be a good suggestion.
They have a nice selection of pupus and meals so you can almost certainly find something you'd like. Their location / building has lots of parking available. Service e was also pretty good but not the usual. Our section had two servers working the tables. Different cause you're not sure who's yours but it in a way didn't matter. You've got two.
Bad side was they were out of a couple of beers we wanted to had to settle for 2nd or 3rd choice. Als ordered oyster sliders. Unfortunately they were very small and not a lot of flavor but they were a little pricey. Definitely won't order them again.
We'd most likely come back again as it's a nice set up, good service, wide choices of food, and good parking.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Love coming here. Lots of seating but it can get crowded quick! Very chill vibes, relaxing.
The food is very good! Fridays, their oysters are a dozen for ~$15. They only serve certain oysters at the bar but you are more than welcome to buy the oysters from the seafood department and bring them in to eat! Unfortunately, the lady at the seafood counter said we could order any oyster from the bar which is false. Well, lesson learned.
The prices are reasonable and lots of great food and drink options... definitely going back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Perfect place for happy hour! The wings are done right. I get them dry with the sauce on the side. My friend got the cauliflower nachos and ate every last bite. The severs are very nice but the wings do take a little longer so be patient. Perfect for a casual hangout with friends!

After dinner activity in Honolulu, Hawaii...
We were actually looking for a dessert place, but we had just about been everywhere, or the places we wanted to try were too "far away" (like in Waikiki) and/or closed for the evening.
We decided to check out Two Tides Bar. It is now on the Ground Level of Whole Foods - not on the second floor any longer. It's spacious, bright, clean, and air conditioned!
Parking in the structure at Ward Village is free and plentiful. I entered from Queen Street and parked on the second floor which leads right into the building. Taking the escalator down, I met my friends at the entrance. We saw the sign that the kitchen had closed already, but decided to go in and look at the menu.
I almost ordered a lemonade or a Real ginger ale. However, the bartender offered a sample of anything. I took her up on it and tried Beer Lab Hawaii's Mango Go Gadget. It was nice and fruity sweet! It wasn't too bitter, so, I ordered a glass!
It was a fun experience and I wouldn't be surprised if we end up here again!Helpful 40Thanks 3Love this 38Oh no 0 - Apr 4, 202312 check-ins
The tides were low if you stop by a bit late...
An evening out in Ward Village with my besties Nadine and Donna is always entertaining and special then when it's the "what's for dessert!?" time and since it was decently late I really didn't want us to go and drive further out when we do have great places nearby.
Yes many were closed by then...including the kitchen here at Two Tides Bar, in their defense there was a sign placed so that we all know in advance but we still decided to see what they had to offer.
A LOT of drinks!! Of course it's all categorized Wine, Cans & Bottles, Cocktails and Non-Alcoholic, Spirits. Then their beer menu...four pages of Sours, Ciders, Hard Kombucha & Seltzer, Porters & Stouts, IPA, Wheat Beer, Pilsners & Lagers, Blonde & Pale Ales with detailed information on each item is nice.
I'm a cider gal and actually got excited to see they had a few to offer...asking about it they don't hesitate to give you samples which does of course make it so easy to decided. There were three to try and I loved the Paradise Ciders Lei'd Back Lilikoi...Ooohhh more of a social drinker I loved how easy it was to sip it all away and it got me all Lei'd back and relaxed lol!!!
Parking of course is super easy with two entrances either from Queen St and Halekauwila St both will take you up with lots of free parking. Sadly the bar has relocated and moved down to the ground floor from its original fun and hip second floor, the vibe is much more relaxed and simple as the second floor has basically converted to their Prime storage.
I have yet to try their menu and have no idea what they have to offer other than what I've heard so you know I'd be back here to check them out as I did love the service here so knowledgeable and friendly...besides if there's a dessert wine...I got my dessert beer...right!?

I came here to try their Happy Hour Oysters, which are $15 for a dozen! I don't know a better deal on the island, if you do let me know. They offered Kumamoto and (forgot the other). Anyways, the oysters were very small. I actually like small oysters, but these were REALLY small! They were fresh nonetheless, but you get what you pay for. They came out pretty fast. The oyster HH deal is only on Friday from 4-6.
We also ordered pork nachos and fries. The fries were super fresh and crispy, definitely get some! Not sure if I would come back here again...I would rather pay more for better quality oysters elsewhere, it this place is worth a try if you like oysters and want a good deal.Helpful 12Thanks 1Love this 7Oh no 0Business owner information
