Turnaround Cafe

A cute little cafe, in a small town, serving delicious breakfast and lunch -- what more could you want?

The Turnaround is a small cafe, and quite popular, so wait times can be long on weekends, but it's worth the wait. Service was great, once our table was ready (five of us on a Sunday, around 1pm).

I'm a sucker for buttermilk pancakes, and I'm often disappointed when I order them at restaurants, but that definitely was NOT the case here. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy, with a nice buttery flavor. I also ordered a side of bacon, which was thick, smoky, and perfectly cooked.

Upon completion of my meal, I should have gone with the "Turnaround Egg Breakfast", because I had trouble finishing three big pancakes. The egg breakfast comes with two eggs, an option for two pancakes, and then your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage. Next time! :-)

Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, which consisted of a mix of breakfast and lunch dishes. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive for another visit!

Our group goes out once a month to a restaurant just for fellowship and enjoying each other company. We came to this restaurant and had a wonderful time. The food was amazing. Pricing was great server was right on it.

Worth the short trip to Turner -great food and service! Love the breakfast omelette and chicken salad.

I love Turnaround Cafe. As my previous reviews demonstrate, it's just a great restaurant - wonderful customer service, clean/attractive place, and most importantly, great tasting quality food. In the last year or two, they've updated their menu and I do miss a number of things they used to have - in particular, the pulled pork sandwich, the meatloaf, and the reuben. I hope they'll bring those items back again - they were delicious and a big loss to no longer have them on the menu. This time, I got the burger and it was above average though I think next time I'll try something different. My wife regretted not getting the side of potatoes, so she ordered some before she left and was glad she did.

Great little place
The food is freshly made, and delicious. The staff is friendly, and efficient has the feeling of a little old diner.

Cute little family owned establishment. Had the cinnamon roll and biscuits and gravy. The cinnamon roll was perfectly soft and sweet and the biscuits were some of the softest most buttery I have had! Definitely check out their bakery around the corner too, sourdough, bagels, and snickerdoodle were all insane!

One of those little breakfast diners you wish you had in your home town. Excellent food, prepared and presented wonderfully. Cinnamon rolls are too lovely to say no to. Just downright good grub.

Set out super early to watch the eclipse and decided we were starving on the way back to Portland. Found this gem and couldn't be happier to have made the stop. Such a cute spot, the food and service was amazing. Get a cinnamon roll to start you will not be disappointed. We plan to find something to do in the area just to be able to come back for breakfast here again. It had the best vibe, very cozy, warm and welcoming.

Delicious! We all 3 had something different for breakfast & it was great. Don't pass on the coffee cake.
