Trading Post

It was my first time to Georgetown, CO. My friends and I stopped by this quaint little shop. The cashier was very friendly. This place has an assortment of local and regional artifacts from bird houses and wood-carved pieces to cowboy hats and branding irons. I really appreciate the local artisanship that you can't get anywhere else, very unique pieces.

I'm obsessed with the small town of Georgetown and always make a point to stop by the Trading Post. Not only is it one of the coolest little spots in town, but it boasts the best mountain merch around! Local jewelry, authentic leather cowboy hats, branded coffee mugs, aspen leaves dipped in silver or gold and MORE is offered here - while creating the perfect mountain-esque vibe! Service is always friendly and willing to help/make suggestions/assist in anyway!

Do yourself a favor, and stop in!

What an adorable little shop in a historic town! They have everything from handmade suet feeders to replica sheriff badges and socks. The lady up front was really kind and helpful. This was my favorite of all the stores here and I'm definitely going back for that leather gun holster!

We were buying one pair of earrings, and right when we were getting ready to check out, the cashier (and solo employee) got on the phone on a personal call. We stood there holding our money for several minutes and she just chatted away, showing no consideration or sense of urgency. Very rude. We left our money on the desk and departed. NOT coming back here.

Some cute stuff. Owner guy very nice and friendly. Decent prices for tourist shop.
