Dr. Zinner is the sweetest. She is so professional, the whole office is really, they're efficient and everyone is really great. I went in for a cyst, she could tell I was concerned and made me feel really at home. Go to her! The office is clean and organized and everyone respects your privacy as well.

Dr. Zinner might be fine for obstetrical care, but I don't trust her with gynecological care. I had to self advocate over a period of six months to get diagnostic work ups for breast and gyn issues. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and later vaginal wall cancer. Both of these were overlooked and I was made to feel hypochondriacal because I wanted further testing. I changed physicians and was treated professionally for both cancers.

After the recommendations and reviews from Yelp, I called Dr. Zinner and made an appointment.
Wow, I love her! She saw me quickly, and sat me in her office going over my history, before launching into the examine. She made me feel very comfortable and was very personable.
While waiting in her waiting room, I was surrounded by all these pregnant mothers, and they all seemed very happy and confident with her treatment, so that made me feel better, as well.
BTW, she is taking new clients again! I will be recommending her to every woman I know, who needs a new GYN.
I hope she someday becomes aware of her fan following at Yelp!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - L F.Boston, MA15Apr 8, 2008
I had my first appt with Dr. Zinner in Feb 08. She was referred to me by my sister in law, who is also one of her patients. First and foremost, Dr. Zinner has the BEST bedside manner. She's really kind, never makes you feel rushed, listens to everything you say, and treats you with respect. She is first rate.
Additionally, she is located in 1 Brookline Place which is a convenient building to get to (right off Green Line) and the rest of her medical and office staff are just as friendly and helpful.
I did have to wait 6 months for an appt, but it was worth it.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Annie T.Boston, MA778May 18, 2012
I've been seeing Dr. Zinner for a little over 3 years. Never have I met someone so sweet and helpful. She puts you at ease the second she introduces herself to you. Like others have said, she gives you a pre-exam talk, and she answers any question, no matter how silly, taking her time to address every concern professionally and honestly, and I didn't once feel like she was trying to push me in one direction or another.
I seriously feel like I was talking to an old friend every time I see her. She's just sooo nice! I've known several doctors in my time, and Dr. Zinner's bedside manner is unparalleled.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - X X.Brooklyn, NY371394Jun 12, 2007First to Review
Dr. Z is so awesome that she isn't taking new patients anymore, not at least until September '07. Just an FYI.

I'm a young master's student in Boston, and this was my first gyno appointment EVER!! And what a wonderful experience. I had to wait 5 months to get into Dr. Zinner's office, but it was WELL worth the wait.
She was so courteous and understanding, and explained everything to me. What I thought was really wonderful is the pre-exam talk, where she asked about history and answered any questions or concerns that I had.
She is probably one of the most polite, pleasant and professional person I've ever met...and she's a gynocologist...how many times does that happen???!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oli M.Washington, DC209811Dec 19, 2007
Dr. Zinner may just be the nicest person I've ever met. I contacted her based on B.S.' yelp review, but I still feared the typical doctor-personality hiccups: a god-complex, jadedness, rushing through appointments. I couldn't have been more wrong. And B.P., while she may not officially take new patients until several months in advance, the office will book new patients into recent cancellations. I managed to schedule an appointment for within a week.
Right off the bat, I liked that the receptionist took me into a private exam room to discuss and record my medical history. And while I realize this is of limited medical value, it means a lot to be working with a doctors' office that so much wants an accurate history of congenital defects in my family, that they have someone explain what those are, along with every other symptom or disease on the chart, before I give my answer. The receptionist, was completely non-judgmental and sympathized on a lot of points, so it was almost like I just happened to be discussing breast cancer with a friend.
I waited for Dr. Z in her office, but she still knocked on the door before entering. I loved that she apologized for my wait and had already reviewed my medical history and reason for coming in before our meeting. She was incredibly congenial, patient, understanding, calming, and attentive throughout. She laid out all the treatment options for me, from most medicated to most alternative, and we discussed which directions we should try in based on my preferences. The emphasis was what on we were doing together to manage my health. I really felt like she listened more than any doctor I've ever been too. When our discussion naturally finished its course as I had no concerns left, she asked if she could do an exam. As she walked me through the exam step-by-step, a novelty, she also checked step-by-step that I felt comfortable with what she was doing and if I needed her to adjust any of the instruments. Amongst the breast and vag exams, she also examined my thyroid, another novelty which now seems like such an obvious, important check for a gynecologist to do.
Dr. Zinner is a phenomenal doctor.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Julie S.Auburndale, MA5327815Apr 30, 2009

LOVE her! It may be a while before you can get an appointment, but she's been my doctor for both of my pregnancies and is just the most knowledgeable and compassionate person that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
