I went to Ken to get my hair colored for the first time ever, as well as a cut (going from really long hair to a bob) and I couldn't be happier with the results! He made sure to get all the details right - he asked me what length I wanted, how my ends should look, gave me options for the right shade, and he even made some valuable suggestions along the way. And at the end, he took out a notepad and took notes of what exactly he did to my hair so that he can get it exactly right the next time I come back. He's methodical and quick, and I'm so glad I found him. Love my new hair!!

Ken has been my hair stylist for many, many years.
He has done it all to my hair!
He's cut and colored my hair on a consistent basis, he has highlighted, low lighted, straightened and applied keratin treatments on my hair.
Ken is very creative and he is a true artist.
He is a perfectionist and his ultimate goal is to make his clients happy
with their hair when they walk out of the salon.
I know first hand and also in observing Ken with other clients,
he listens to his clients and is very thoughtful about how he is going to achieve the
client's wishes for their hair. I have also seen Ken do some pretty amazing
color & cut corrections where the client's hair looked 100%+ better.

Ken uses Aveda color and sells Aveda hair styling products.

The only person I would ever trust to cut my hair would be Ken Yee. He is so meticulous and does an amazing job! My boyfriend and I have been going to him for years! I highly recommend him especially if you are planning to ring in the new year with a new hair style.

I went to Ken's hair salon today, because I was tired of going to Beverly Hills or Downtown each time I needed to cut my hair. So I checked Yelp and found Entangled Salon on 20861 Ventura Blvd. I gave them a call not thinking that I actually would get an appointment as it was Sunday after all... Nobody picked up. But a few minutes later Ken himself called me back and came to the salon for a cut! This was highly appreciated and amazing from him! I told him what I liked and wanted, I had grown out hair with a very dry and straw like structure. my hair is nature waves and the structure is hard to maintain when it comes to longer hair. So I let him cut it short and the result was breath taking, exactly what I wanted! Short, and easy, but very nice to look at! I definitely come back to Ken!

I started going to Ken for haircuts about 10 years ago at the recommendation of my girlfriend. She's been going to him for about 15 years. We have always had a great experience with Ken. His experience and skill are immediately evident as you watch him work. He moves and wields the scissors like a true master, and with fantastic results! Highly recommended!

Preface: I didn't give the last star bc I only came to get my hair trimmed (already washed and flatironed by myself) so I am not sure what the whole process would have been like. However, Ken took me very last minute, same day within the hour and did a great job trimming my hair.
My concerns with hairstylists are ALWAYS if they can do ethnic hair. I have African America and Caucasian mix. Which tends to have a personality of it's own. When asking about his education in that type of field he immediately comforted me with his assured response. When I got there he was awsome talking me through the trim, bc he could tell I was a perfectionist about my hair. He was awsome! I will be going back to try to the full experience for sure with him. He exceeded my expectations and I'm very happy for that bc I left with healthy looking hair :-)

Ken has been cutting my hair for the last 10 years. In fact, he cuts for my husband and daughter as well. I have very thick challenging coarse hair texture. It is always a challenge to him to get the style I want to work on my hair texture. He would always try to modify the style so that would work for me.
He is an artist and truly enjoys his work.
I have come to trust his recommendations over the years.
He is especially experience in cutting Asian hair.

I have been coming to Ken for over 7 years now and he never fails to give me the best hair cut. He knows exactly what my hair needs and always does an excellent job! Best customer service i've ever had at a Salon, he's always friendly and has a great demeanor. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a stylish cut!
