On this night (we) were here; it was their first time being at Tong's. I could overhear them say: "Gosh, this is so good". So I asked them, "Hey, you folks like the Thai food"?
Their reply: "Oh yes; we think the best we've ever had".
.
And there you go; what else needs to be said about the place?!!

Treasure Island soup: Excellent with a bountiful amount of seafood in the soup. So much so, I was surprised (just) how much scallops, shrimp, fish etc was in the dish. Has a real seafood broth base taste....and it was excellent!
Fried spring roll: Gee...great tasting roll...and the dipping sauce is just as good! You can drink that little dipping sauce.
Thai fried rice: very very good dish. Had plenty of vegetable accents in the dish. Good seasoning to the dish and a good texture to the rice.
A small quiet little place....a great date night place.....a place to relax in a calmer ambiance than most places are like otherwise. Put Tong's on your list of "must dine" places!

Food was $20 bucks (one meal and spring rolls) (good food). I was charged $41 bucks on my card. I had a feeling this was going to happen. This was the reason I tipped $0 dollars before the charge because a foreign restaurant across the street did the same thing in the past. They don't deserve a tip, what do you think?

We are from Las Vegas, we finally found our favorite Thai restaurant here in Springfield, MO.

Used to have a different favorite Thai restaurant in town. Passed by this for 9 years and never gave it a second thought. Coworker used to work next door and raved about it. Finally tried it.
Please do not be like me. Don't stick to your "favorite". Don't overlook this place. Get in there and order. We shared our entrees so I was able to try more than one thing and it was all exploding with flavor. The chicken was juicy and tender. The rangoon and spring roll are by far the best I have ever had.

Food is so good! Vegetarian options awesome. Tried veggie delight appetizer and eggplant. Wish it was back home in Texas!

We ordered delivery from here during quarantine. Our order included:
- Singapore Noodles with Tofu
- Drunken Noodles with Tofu
- Tom Yum Soup
The drunken noodles were really good - the best I've had in Springfield. The same goes for the tom yum soup. It was super flavourful with lots of tasty veggies.
Our order was delivered incorrectly - they sent us chicken in the singapore noodles, and we're vegetarian. I did call to let them know, but there wasn't a way to correct it. Oh, well. The portions were big enough that we were able to share the drunken noodles.
