Went for lunch with 2 friends. The service was friendly and attentive, but the food??? I had the crab cakes "shareable" and it was mediocre, at best. It was overly salted and, frankly, didn't sit well at all. One of my friends had the pulled chicken quesadilla; the only thing they got right was the sour cream! It didn't sit well with her either; took a day for us both to recover. Overpriced, mediocre food. Definitely a one-time experience.

My first time here. Came for Mother's Day. Great food nice atmosphere. The only thing that needs to be changed is their chairs they're not comfortable otherwise I recommend this restaurant.

Stopped by Tommy Bahama for some drinks and appetizers during my boyfriend's birthday weekend. We were lucky enough to be serviced by Nick and Melissa! Melissa made amazing drink recommendations (get their delicious frozen dole-whip drink with rum) and Nick made my boyfriend's birthday extra special by letting us choose from their amazing dessert options! We decided on the Oreo chocolate pie (omg SO GOOD!) for appetizers we did the scallop sliders and their famous coconut shrimp! You cannot go wrong with those 2 options! Thank you Nick and Melissa for such a great dining experience! You're both awesome and we loved having you both as servers!

Overall: great dining experience, social distancing is in place so we felt safe the entire time, and food is mouth-watering! I can't wait to return!

This place has a nice Hawaiian vibe. We sat inside and they distanced the tables well for covid. Our waiter was slightly inattentive, but the food was delicious. We had the world famous coconut shrimp and coconut crusted crab cake appetizers, and the for mains we had the char-grilled filet mignon salad and ahi tuna tacos.

World Famous Coconut Shrimp: 5/5 Thought it was good as an appetizer, not sure we would be able to do it as a meal. The chutney under the shrimp has a nice sweet flavor that compliments the coconut.

Coconut Crusted Crab Cakes: 4/5 There was a lot of crab meat.

Char-grilled Filet Mignon Salad: 5/5 The salad was delicious!! The meat was tender and cooked to my liking. Dressing was light with the garlic aïoli adding more flavor. The shiitakes are nice when you mix them in with the salad. I felt like the tomatoes and potatoes were kind of just there. Overall I loved the salad and would definitely recommend!

Ahi Tuna Tacos: 5/5 Nicely stuffed with fresh, good quality tuna. A bit on the lighter side if you don't order appetizers.

Tommy Bahamas Restaurant hasn't lost their touch during the ups and downs of the pandemic. The food is incredible, the service superb and the entire staff are genuinely nice. Hats off to the chef Jon Klaus( hope I got the spelling correct). We started with the world famous coconut shrimp( light and crunchy).. it has earned it's world famous reputation. We followed with the filet salad and then the sea bass with the lemon beuer blanc sauce( we always look for the beuer blanc sauce and order that dish). It was a feast for royalty. Nicholas, our server, was very attentive, service was quick and the food was perfectly timed at the perfect temperatures. Even the bread was incredible... fresh from the oven! Our favorite restaurant for seafood in Newport Beach!

Who would have guessed a famous clothing store opening a restaurant would be successful? I was curious about this and decided to give it a shot. Boy was i glad i did! The food was really good! The service was fast ,efficient and friendly! And most of all, the price was very reasonable for the current times. I have been here twice and have tried different appetizers , entrees and desserts and it has never failed. They are delicious! Will be back for more !!

Very scrumptious and accommodating.

The parking lot is super close. Lot's of outdoor seating, warm heaters too. They even let me bring my puppy to eat outside as well, and gave him a water bowl.

Rubin sandwich (too full to eat eat)
Blackened fish tacos 4 stars

Very cool environment with lovely live music. I'd definitely enjoy coming here again.

Food and service were great. The ambiance is casual and tropical - themed. I would love to visit again :)

first time back here in over a year since the pandemic & the place was was bustling...ordered the ribeye steak + asparagus & the wife had the porterhouse pork chop + mac & cheese (see pictures) ...BOTH meats were cooked to perfection & the accompaniments were prepared perfectly as well...
our server JENAE was excellent from her introduction to us as our server, asking if we'd like to order drinks, taking our order to always checking on us & topping off our drinks without us having to ask...will NOT hesitate to request her as our server in the future...you should as well & you're welcome...

We went to Tommy's for HH and Anna was our server. She's always great. She remembers things we like and helped us get a spot at the Happy Hour table. We really appreciate her.
