TNT Burger is a casual local burger place in Warwick, NY. They have plenty of parking in the free parking lot. The inside of the restaurant was very clean, had a great atmosphere, and had a nice interior. The employees seemed friendly as well. The place also has free wifi. I came here around 7PM. They had a small menu with a few selections for each category such as burgers, sides, and drinks. I was a bit disappointed because I wanted a portabello mushroom burger, but they had ran out. So, I just went with the cheeseburger sliders.
This place is said to be for quick bites, which is not completely true. When they take your order, you'll get a pager that will vibrate when your order is ready. I don't know what they consider quick but we sat at our table for about 10-15 minutes.
Onto the food - I got the cheeseburger sliders. They appeared like a normal size slider, although the actual burger was slightly smaller than the bun. It really did not taste special. Though I do have to say, the bun tasted good because they put it on the grill. I've had some amazing sliders, but this wasn't all that great. I would come here if I was around the area or wanted something "quick."Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christine B.New York, NY01944Feb 27, 2016
The decor is so nice and current with Handcrafted chairs by: Warwick Valley Iron & Wood. Black & White large photos.
The food is delish! Yummy fries, mesculin salad, black bean burger.
PS- They even gave me the wifi code.
PPS- The salad comes with olives ;)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Pg I.Warwick, NY0121Oct 8, 2017
RIP:
I really wanted this place to "work". Gave it a couple of chances, but as my fellow yelpers, pointed out, and the owner often admitted (guilty with an explanation), the business model doesn't work in Warwick. Priced for a custom made burger, with artisan rolls, fulfilled with pre-made frozen patties with supermarket style rolls (the plastic wrappers evident on the back workstation) served by bored teenage staffers didn't justify the prices.
I'm posting this postmortem on the off chance that whomever might buy the place (big "for sale" signs on site) may take heed. Warwickians appreciate honesty.
PS: There's a "Smokey" place recently opened around the corner. It may have an even shorter lifespan for similar price/value reasons, plus bad attitude.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ayana L.Middletown, NY3177May 14, 2017
First time coming here and did not disappoint!! Loved the atmosphere and the FOOD!!! Very clean and the staff was friendly. The Rodeo burger was sooo good and Fries were golden crispy perfection, not greasy at all . My husband got the Mac & Cheese burger which he liked a lot. He also had a hot dog that I managed to snag a bite of...delish! We will be back for sure!

Not the best.
The portions were small. Two of us went and we were still hungry after dinner.
The chicken sandwich was tasty but we also asked if they could make a grilled cheese. The chef said yes but what was served was grilled mini dinner rolls with one slice of cheese on each. It's not inexpensive and the quality is lacking.
Also, when we went there seemed to be many kids working but it wasn't very organized. I'm all about employing teens but they needed some guidance.
The decor is cute and the idea is good. Hopefully they fix some of the issues.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shaan S.Allen, TX291154533May 21, 2017
Out in Warwick this burger place was worth the drive from Middletown at least to try it once. No line, lots of seating, and speedy service. Self serve fountain drinks and they have ice cream shakes, floats, and burger specials of the week. Ordered the grilled chicken burger of the week which was great, they also have hot sauces at each table that add a smokey spice to your bite. Regret not getting the shirley temple ice cream float, but heard good things from others. Fries cooked well, lots of menu options, and not too pricey make for a nice lunch spot if you live near

Slow! Very slow. Long wait for food.
Average, unspectacular. Burger was dry. Onion rings were meh. Chicken sandwich with cilantro spread was off and the hot dogs were average. Fries with bacon were covered in cheese wiz.... okay, but not delish.
Bathroom completely unstocked when we were there, not good. It wasn't the worst, but won't go back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 20, 2016
Great space. This place is fairly large was able to accommodate our 10 person group on a Saturday afternoon by combining a bunch of the tables together. Great, helpful staff. Reasonable priced options. Fountains drinks are self serve after purchasing the cup like many other places. The burgers creations were interesting though the burger meat itself was not seasoned very well. They did have a lot to choose from including burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, french fries, ice cream, milk shakes and drinks. We had everything except the milk shakes and everything was great. The only major downside was the wait. The place was pretty full as I overheard some staff telling some customers that it was busy due to apple picking season and the amount of orchards in the nearby area. After ordering food, we were giving buzzers and told to sit. The food took 30 minutes!! At a restaurant, I would understand but a burger place, 30 minutes despite a full venue is very long. After a tired day of apple and pumpkin picking and dealing with 4 hungry children, waiting 30 minutes for fast food was a bit annoying to say the least.

I was disappointed. I knew it was expensive, but we waited a half hour today and left this place starving. The hamburger with Chili was fantastic, but i have an average appetite and to me it was like a slider? That size, very small, bun was sort of a under sized bun you'd get at Price Chopper. Paid $4.00 for onion rings. There were 6. That is how much a piece dunno, and again they were super good, but a half hour? And to leave hungry? So $14 and change for 2 hamburgers and an onion ring, we brought in water and drank that and so in Warwick there is an excellent Chinese restaurant near Price chopper that is fresh and fantastic. $14 would have been enough for 2 meals or even 3.
Would like to have enjoyed it more, we would have to go to Ruby Tuesday's or Fridays for a hamburger that tastes home made, but again, still hungry and so as a snack, fine, you'd have to think of it as a farmer's market kind of event but otherwise, I don't know if we will be back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joe M.Upper West Side, Manhattan, NY2343Jul 1, 2017
So a long time ago I deleted my review because it was a bit too controversial for the owners liking, understandable. I went back a second time because I always go back a second time and I'll be honest I had a better meal.
The price was still high for why you get, but the quality of the burger made it worth it. It was perfectly cooked for that style of burger, it wasn't sloppy, it was aesthetically beautiful, and the flavors paired very well with each other. Sampled the ice creams and it was delicious. Here's where we still have the issues
The fries. My main gripe last time, and still running strong today. They're absolute garbage frozen fries, that were immensely over cooked. They were hot, hard, stale, no seasoning, and they were the same fries from high school. They're cheap, and they do NOT complement the near perfect hamburger that was cooked for me. The owner told me it was the best French fry they tried after long trials and styles, and it was temporary until they start with fresh fries. Ouch, still going with those fries well after a year of my first TNT tryout. Please, for the love of your business, change your fries. I'm a huge frozen fries fan, but those are atrocious.
Service was good but slow considering it was dead. I'm okay with that, because again, that burger was near perfect. If you change the fries this is a 4 star joint.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Joe....I distinctly remember speaking to you and a little surprised you wouldn't voice your opinions to me directly. I do thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry you did like our fries or our establishment. And yes...I did mention that we plan to do hand cut fries as soon as we get all of our kinks out as any new small business has. Had you preferred I'd lie to you? And I'm sorry if you felt you were being spied on...I like to go check on our clients and make sure all is ok and add a little personal interaction. If you feel that is being spied on, then TNT is clearly not the place for you.
