TJ Maxx

So many locations have so much stuff!!! Every once in awhile the stores are stripped and hardly have any inventory, but 90% there is so much stuff, I'm left to pick what I REALLY need!

I love TJ Maxx but their bathroom was gross today. There was water all over the sink, there was a paper towel roll on the counter that was all wet and the changing table was nasty and busted up. That is all lol

Stopped by TJMAXX to find some stocking stuffers. I found a lot of cute things, dog bowls, toys, snacks. I actually found a cute doggie bowl w matching cup. " Santa's favorite yelper". Loved it that I also bought it for my fur baby ! The cashier was pleasant and nice. This place has decent items for a good price.

They have a good selection of clothing and household stuff. Very much like an upgrade on Ross. Prices are moderate compared to big department stores. Lots of easy parking in a convenient location at the Maui Mall. They also carry a lot of pet supplies, such as toys and beds.

It is not every day you walk into a store in Hawaii and get such exceptional service, as I did the other day at the Kahului location.

Jamie helped me find exactly what I was looking for and Abby even offered a discount for a tiny imperfection. They made sure my new sexy end tables made it into my car without incident.

MAHALO ladies for making me feel special and cared for. Certainly a rare find these days.

I always find great handbags and clothes , even they always have great coffee cups and stuff for your home it's a one stop shop

I stumbled across the Jordan's skinny syrups and the Vanilla Chai is so good. Great price too! I scooped up several Christmas presents back in December and I see a few home decor items I intend to grab. There are plenty of registers and the wait was not bad. There are other sections that I didn't visit but Intend to on my next trip

I usually love T.J.Maxx and I spend a ton of money in this store since there's pretty much nowhere else to shop on Maui. I was excited for the "members only" weekend only to find out they were letting everyone in and the store was pretty much picked clean. I don't think you should promote members only events if it's open to anyone regardless if they're a member or not. It was gross, and disappointing.

TJ Maxx, like Ross is always a hit or miss for me. However, there are other times that I go in looking for something & end up with more. Pricing & brands are pretty one up from Ross. It's literally your one stop shop & brings your creative juices to light.

I will say though that recently I haven't bought any clothing. The selection isn't as broad & I'm especially bummed about the lack of "junior" dresses & shorts. I've actually bought several dresses previously, but recently when I've gone, there are just a handful. I get it, usually off season there are more, but even this past winter it was slim picking. Also, unlike Ross they don't carry or very rarely have size 5 footwear. I'm sure on the mainland it's a minority size, but in Hawaii there are a lot of us with small feet. I do like though that their work out equipment section has expanded to more then just yoga mats & bags which is nice. I've since picked up weights & a belt.

Otherwise, I will say that I love coming here, especially for gifts & grabbing little things to put together baskets.

Maui's first and only TJ Maxx store, I come here every so often to browse and see what's new. The store is always well organized and clean so you can find things easily throughout their various aisles. They also have a clearance section with a bunch of different knick knacks located at the back corner of their store.

My favorite things about this shop are the notebooks and planner selection. They carry some really cute designs that I haven't seen anywhere else and most of them are affordably priced. I also love that they carry furniture and home decor. They seem to have a rustic country farmhouse style going on and I dig it. There's a lot of super cute pieces from chairs, to drawers, to artwork. There's also candles, wooden storage crates, lamps.. the whole shabang!

The best part is when the holidays roll around and they have themed products on display to go with whatever holiday it may be. Right now it's all fall/halloween themed and I needed to exercise a ton of self-control to not buy anything. They had the cutest fox garland and fox figurines. Just really really cute stuff to decorate around the house!

They are priced higher than their competitor down the road, so I don't often leave with too many things (hence the 4 stars). However, I've scored a bunch of great deals on after holiday clearances which is always fun!

Lastly, customer service is pretty on point. I received prompt assistance when I requested a reprint of a receipt that I had lost more than a week prior and needed to get a reimbursement for. They were unable to print it due to technical difficulties, but I was able to take a photo of their computer monitor. They were apologetic, but I was just appreciative that they were trying to help me. Thanks, TJ Maxx!
