Jerk chicken was not that good. They ran out dumping so they had to substitute it for extra jerk chicken it was too much and dry. The ox tail was banging but the rice was good due to the sauce. We called late which is why we think it wasn't the best. I suggest not to call after 9.

There are a number of very good Jamaican restaurants in Bridgeport, Titus Cains ranks as average among them. Not the best, but certainly not the worst, they offer all the common menu choices you'd expect, in three sizes of course! The cabbage didn't seem all that fresh and their rice was very light on flavor. They do offer lunch though during the week which makes for a nice option.

*my first negative review* ..... Let me just say . I AM JAMAICAN, born and raised in Mobay. This place isn't selling jamaican food done right. The rice and pease was tough and seasoned all wrong. The oxtail was the cheapest type of oxtail with all the fat on it ,or my guess is they didn't even clean the meat proper before cooking it in beer bumboclat grease. It wasn't even seasoned. I could imagine what the rest of the menu taste like. Well good luck if you wanna push it by trying this imitation!

Now I'm from Brooklyn and I know good Jamaican food!!!! This restaurant reminds me so much of Brooklyn..... You can't go anywhere to get "Real Jamaican Food"...... I was kind of skeptical because I had jamaican food out of state and I had a horrible experience ..... This restaurant prove me wrong.... The jerk chicken was season very well..... the rice pea taste fresh as well as the plantain and cabbage.... I order around 5 pm most restaurant would have have old cold cabbage plantains ... Not this restaurant everything was on point .... Every bite reminds me so much of Brooklyn..... I will definitely order from Titus in the future

Ordered the jerk chicken through Uber Eats using a voucher. I placed my order and it was accepted by the restaurant. However, 3 minutes later the order was cancelled. I went back to try and see what happened and the jerk chicken sold out. There was no acknowledgement and worst case they didn't refund my voucher. Don't accept an order you can't fulfill. Thanks guys still hungry here

They are verrrry expensive and cheap with the food... they charged 2.50 for a chicken patty and 5 dollars for some old FROZEN rotti... and 7.00 for a small lunch size plate... the food is decent but if your going to OVER charge at least give a good amount of food... Taking my services else where!

We ordered at 7pm est. and at 8:30pm we called to cancel our order for delivery. Their excuse was that they couldn't get in touch with the driver to find out why he still wasn't here. Horrible service. They didn't even try to help. "I'll call the driver and tell him not to worry." Verbatim what the woman on the phone told me. Was excited for nothing.

Good service and they have a lunch special that comes with a drink. Very stingy with the jerk chicken but it's tasty.

Ya Mon! Having spent several weeks in Negril, I frequently find myself in the throes of a serious craving for some authentic Jamaican food, which can actually be tough to find here in the US. Particularly a place where you can actually sit down and enjoy, and where the service isn't surly. My seven year old daughter and I were the only non-Jamaicans in the joint when we visited, but we were welcomed with great warmth and enormous helpings of whole fried snapper, jerk chicken, rice and peas and vegetables - even a beer on the house! The sauces, including some oxtail gravy that I poured generously over my rice, were sweet and spicy, just perfect. My only complaint is that I lacked the self control to stop at one meal and basically devoured two enormous portions... Titus Cain is apparently named in honor of the owner's grandfather. This is a casual but cheerful family place where you are treated, and fed, like family. Will be making the drive again soon.

My first experience i said i wasn't going to write a review and i didn't but i got to now. Im sorry but this is the worst Jamaican food i had. And this is coming from a Jamaican born and raised most of my life. I have had BETTER jamaican food. The very first time i order it was okay, i said okay because i was very hungry and when ur hungry anything will taste okay. The second time i order i used the app to order and over 2 hours i was home waiting for my meal i was upset. however what got me really mad is that I had to call them and asked where was my meal and then the worker is going to tell me that after certain hours they do not take orders which i didnt order late business close at 10 and i ordered at 8. but what really PISSED me off was that they saw my order but did not call me and let me know that they can no longer process my order. That was 2 hours in well my money was taken, i told them i wanted back my money, it took over a week before i got back my money in person then they going to apologize again and tell me then thst they had no driver that night so why did the worker tell me i order late.. Okay so my sister order from them some jerk pork the other day i can say that their jerk pork was good..So because the jerk pork was good i decided to order some jerk chicken, okay here is where i finally made it clear that their food is terrible i order jerk chicken with rice n peas i expect to get jerk chicken. Not chicken and jerk sauce on the side, no peas in my rice and peas why the hell they cook with parboiled rice "nasty" and why the hell is the rice so soft.. Plantains soaking in oil..TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience and last time ordering food from here..
