Wow!!! The tin roof taco is AMAZING! Loved the crispy chicken taco, sauces are incredible, toppings are thoughtfully made. Chips and salsa are perfect. This place made me wish we lived in Boise so we could go all the time!
The service was so fast I felt like we barely walked from the register and then our name was called. Come here!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 27, 20232 check-ins
First time coming to this location and while these tacos don't blow me away the service and food was quick and accurate. Inside was very clean and well kept. I had my usual #4 fried chicken taco, #9 texican which is ground beef and #8 beef brisket. In addition I got a cup of their street corn. Everything was good and fresh and what I love about this place are the prices. These are probably some of the best valued tacos in the area. Always fresh and tasty and whole nitro stuffed definitely not skimpy. The chips are actually fantastic and if you have read any of my Mexican food places you know I judge them 1st by the chips and salsa because to me you have to nail this part of being a legit Mexican joint. The homemade salsa is also a perfect compliment and each of the salsas are uniquely great in their own way. Plus the queso is also good and always get it every time we come here.
The only complaint I have is that when you order as a family they mix up all the tacos so it can be kinda a scramble to figure out who's is who's. But outside of that this is always a staple quick place to stop in for some street tacos.Helpful 14Thanks 1Love this 14Oh no 0 - Sep 22, 2023
I'm part of a running group that occasionally meets up at Tin Roof and we all love getting to enjoy these tacos after our outings. I've found that Tin Roof's tacos are flavorful and unique and service is usually fast. They do get pretty busy on weeknights so prepare to wait in line and have your order ready, but it moves quickly! Tin Roof also serves beer, wine, canned cocktails, and frozen margaritas. I was happy to see that they have Shiner Bock on tap. They are also always playing country music if you like that vibe.

Love tin roof tacos. Has been our go to taco Tuesday. Just wish they had burritos. But the street style tacos are good and have about 10 options . And three hot sauces

We came here for the breakfast tacos and they were very good! The chorizo and jalapeno sausage were amazing and I'll be thinking about how good they were for a long time. The black bean was good, but the potato was super bland and skippable.

I'm stoked on this place!! What a find!!
Locals have it made!
Everything is A La Carte!!
The selection of tacos is
Fresh Tortilla chip maker
The cost is
They have Churros!!... I could have started and ended there because they are !!
Love the salsas on the tables!!
Red/Green/Habanero.. tasty too!
The vibe is very active and youthful yet full of people of all ages.
Seating is shared table style.
....Star of the show for me is the tortilla machine, three tiers of yummy warm to perfection goodness.
I'm going to email them to see if they will open one in Idaho Falls Can't wait!!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - May 27, 2022
Pro-tip: Don't forget to grab your own salsa and sometimes they forget to give lime slices, but you can ask for it.
Highlights: Really affordable tacos especially inside a restaurant and I was surprised to see how many different options they had. Lots of seating options too and it's not in downtown, so there's a big parking lot to take advantage of.
Lowlights: There's not a ton of protein in each taco, but at that price point, it kind of makes sense. The grilled fish was very fishy and I probably wouldn't recommend. Some of the sauces were too heavy for me and I wish they just had it on the side.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jeremy H.Redlands, CA175607Sep 13, 2023
Quality food at a reasonable price. Love the variety of ingredients and protein options. Tacos are unique (bbq brisket tacos?), so if your preference is traditional then you may find it off the wall. I've been 3-4x, and never tried anything I didn't like. Ambience is fine, open seating and self-serve soda is nice if you're looking for a quick casual meal by yourself or with a larger group. Also great for kids, complete with an outdoor covered patio option. Staff have always been friendly and helpful when making selections.

OK, these are legit the best tacos I think I have ever had. Really consistently amazing. I love the BBQ Brisket and Tin Roof (pork) ones. The orange habanero sauce is great and so is the green milder one. This beats anything I have had in SoCal by a mile.
Other than the great flavor, large portions and affordability, the place runs smoothly with competent workers, fast prep time, large tables for seating, a big parking lot that always seems to have a spot and more.
If you haven't tried this place out, definitely check it out!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 5, 2022
I love a good veggie taco and was blown away that this place had 3 different types of veggie taco! I got to try the rajas, black bean, and roasted corn tacos! I will say they were a little bit plain but yummy, the corn one was my fave of the 3. My husband got brisket tacos and enjoyed them but said they weren't the best he's had. We shared chips, queso, and salsa, which was super yummy. Not a real expensive meal either.
