I had high hopes when Spectrum bought/took over/merged...or whatever happened.... But since Spectrum has come on the scene here in Hemet (7 Hills) my internet SUCKS!!! Heaven forbid that two drops of rain fall...my connection is non-existent! Today...clear, sunny and warm/hot...my internet connection was interrupted at least 3 times. I just think that is unacceptable! Come on TWC/SPECTRUM let's get your act together! Not a happy camper!

Mario at the Hemet store looked after me. He was polite, he was very knowledgeable, understanding and he was able to address my problem and found an acceptable solution. Instead of cancelling your service he kept me as a Spectrum customer. Mario is an asset to the company and I hope he gets a raise. He deserves it. Alex P.

This is a heads up about *one* specific person at this Hemet Spectrum store.
We came in to return two cable receivers/boxes and to remove add on channels (Cinemax + MGM+). The goal was to reduce our bill and we thought everything went smoothly with the guy even telling us that he gave us "discounts" that knocked the bill by ~150ish dollars. That did not make sense so I asked repeatedly if he was sure. I confirmed that everything we authorized was done. Plot not-so-twist : our account was very messed up. He removed our "grandfathered" package(s) we did _not_ request.
He also added us to Spectrum Voice without permission or notice ($14.99 + $30 one time service activation fee).
It took two phone calls to Spectrum to revert his "changes" to our account.
So my suggestion for anyone still reading is to double check your account details. Spectrum will email you a copy of your "Service Update." Call Spectrum to make changes to your account. Avoid this person if possible.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Trip H.Temecula, CA326Nov 12, 2022
Calls spectrum:
"I want to end my account at the end of the service date. When is that? Can you do that? Or do I call at the end of the service date to get that canceled?
Spectrum: we can take care of that for you.
*one hour later, the internet is canceled*
Me: "MOTHER****" I take the equipment to the store
Specrum Store: "keep the equipment let's see if we can reconnect your internet... nope, take the equipment and call to ask for a refund"
Me calling: "I'd like a refund"
Spectrum: "return the equipment and call back and we'll put an order in for a refund."
Return to the Store and call then call Spectrum.
Spectrum: "we don't do refunds, if you had kept the equipment we could've given you a refund SOOOOOORRYYY"

Spectrum Cable Company and their service is really bad. Very over priced I have had their service for over 10 years and it has sucked 9 of them I have to call every month for a problem with their service. I work allot and have not taken the time to cancel their service. But today I'm done for life I pay $140.00 per month.

I ordered a IPAD IN December when I called 3 days later to see if the promotion offered was applied correctly of course it was not, I cancelled that order and placed a new order.. they never cancelled the first order now I'm stuck with 2 tablets when I tried to return it, it was past 14 days no one told me this

The only bright spot with Spectrum as it pertains to the locations is their customer service staff. There is always a long wait at this location for some reason and I believe it's understaffing. The staff are friendly and helpful but it takes a lot of time for some of the customers to hash out there issues. So having only TWO staff member to help 25 waiting customers is just too much for them. I don't recommend stopping in without an appointment.

Had since 2016 to 2022 and service, outage just got worse. Changed to Frontier, phone, internet and with ATT TV and its been much better and cost less.

I have had nothing but problems with Spectrum. Since I've had it for a month now it's gone out 6 times. The worst service I've ever had with an internet service. Would not recommend to anyone. The customer service is terrible too. When I first signed up they added TV which I told them several times I did not want. It took about 3 calls to get that removed.

Don't recommend spectrum they are so slow and every time I'm watching something it freezes and when I order a fight it always freeze and then it takes me out the app multiple times big mistake getting them don't get it

I called spectrum to get a quote on internet service. I believe the call went overseas as the agent had a very strong accent. My complaint with overseas is that the agent is never able to get it right! Once again Spectrum let's me down. I asked the agent to e Mail me the quote as I wanted to shop others. I received a quote and an ORDER for a modem which I did not order! Now I have to take time to return it ! What can be done about these insane practices? I will never use or consider Spectrum again, even if it's free! Do your self a favor and go with anyone but Spectrum. I'm also writing to Consumers Report about their insane tactics!
