We just love the Earl Soham Victoria ale brewed across the road and sold here. The pub has real old charm and character - dont be put off by the ramshackle and very rustic appearance! The food here is excellent - the sunday roasts are just like home made. You have to get here early or book on Sundays and its absolutely rammed in the summer - but very much worth a visit.

Everything a great pub should be. Friendly, lots of good-natured banter and a very warm welcome for new visitors. Food is pitched just right, somewhere between really good home cooking and gastro. Make no mistake though. This is a pub with good food, not a restaurant with a bar!
Staff team are a delight and really look after all customers. A winning and natural formula which is enjoying well deserved success.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
