Clean, friendly, a great selection of beers, and I love supporting queer-owned businesses!
My friends and I specifically stopped by on our weekend Portland trip since I've seen videos online about the place. We came at happy hour which is 2-4 pm (menu in the pictures).
I got a pale ale which I didn't know was gluten free. Not bad, but I regret not getting a cider instead. My friends got tasters which were fun!
I love the sense of community here as well. It started to get busier around 4 pm on Sunday.
I'm so glad I stopped by!Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - 8424352Nov 8, 2023
We need more Sports Bras! But... seriously... consider franchising this concept!
I was lucky to recently get a spot at the bar with a few friends during the Thorns semifinal match. Like us, the indoor patrons were stressed during that long 120 minutes of play. Thankfully, the team ensured that our drinks were filled and that any food items we needed to comfort ourselves were coming our way.
I really enjoyed the many specialty drinks because I definitely had a few. The team does a great job at keeping people happy with their drinks, and many times, it allowed my friends and me to taste beers on tap before drinking - this is a great idea!
Being a taller man, I was not very comfortable at the bar. The counter length that protrudes from the bar was too slim for me and my legs, which left me with a few bruises and sore muscles. However, I knew this would happen after seeing the bar. Additionally, the TVs were mostly blocked by the light fixtures hanging from the ceilings. I recommend getting new ones if this is a long-term sports bra.
If you are looking for food during the Happy Hour experience, ask for the Happy Hour-specific menu items when ordering. I did not know there was a difference, and I happily paid the extra at the end of the day.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 20, 2023
Stopped in for lunch it was about 130p on a Wednesday. The place has a short bar on the right as you enter with about six barstools. There are 6 tables in the attached dining area.
We sat at the bar. Service was friendly and efficient. We got a beer and a pickle ball, (a gin drink with pickle juice). We liked them.
The bar touts itself as a place for female sports and it lived up to its rep. We watched women's tennis, soccer and basketball all at the same time.
We ordered a burger and Turkey club for food. My Turkey club was great. Nice crispy bread and a lot stuff in there.
The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The place was promoted on the Kelly Clarkson show.
A nice place. We would return when in the area.

Went there to meet some friends a catch a women's basketball game. The burgers were great, the beer was cold and the ambiance was amazing. It was so nice to have a place that supports women's athletics.

I saw all the press and hoopla when this place opened. I was intrigued to check it out, but it took a while. BUT, my sis was in town and I said let's go.
Found street parking a block away. Stepped inside and no seats were available at tables, but there were a couple of seats at the bar. Perfect.
Ambiance? 5 televisions and they were all playing women sports. A first. How many times have I been at a bar and had to plead to please put on a women's game that I wanted to watch. And they would acquiesce to some corner television. Not here. In addition, all the sports paraphernalia are from women athletes. I cannot believe it took until now to find a place that promotes women athletes and sports and it's awesome.
Cocktail? The GOAT. Geneva gin, orgeat, aperol, tangerine juice and soda water. Not too sweet and not too bitter; just right.
Food? Sports Bra Pub Burger. 1/3lb patty, with lettuce, tomato, pickled onion, roasted garlic aioli and Face Rock Creamery extra Sharpe white cheddar on a brioche bun. Excellent. Served with fries. I didn't think I was that hungry and wolfed it down.
I look forward to returning and bringing others.Helpful 10Thanks 1Love this 9Oh no 0 - 1285792319Mar 21, 2023
Super cool bar we found when the lines were too long at a neighboring establishment. Lucky us. This women owned and run bar restaurant could not have been more welcoming.
Three of us sat at the bar and enjoyed beers, cocktails, and food. They have a great beer selection and several vegan food options. Yeah! Prices were reasonable. The bartender (I wish I got her name) was great!
Be sure to check out the merch section in the back. We got hats and t-shirts.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - Mar 15, 2023
Went here for lunch. I got Greek chi chi bean salad with chicken ($6 add on). This salad was delicious, fresh and HUGE! Next time I am going to ask for the dressing on the side and take the rest to go. This salad will feed myself and my children and my children's children.
The service was great. I gave the bartender a description of what kind of beer I like and she came out with some thing that was exactly what I wanted.
It was easy to find street parking nearby.
I enjoyed watching OSU gymnastics while eating my lunch.
Great experience, will definitely be going back for 2 o'clock and late night happy hour!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 10, 2023
PERFECT PLACE FOR...
A tasty drink + VEGAN meal while watching women sports! Their sandwiches are next level, especially their tempeh reuben :)
A true gem on NE Broadway St!
FOOD/DRINKS/SERVICE
I absolutely love they are for everyone; vegans, vegetarians, gluten and dairy free folks. I usually have to opt for an impossible burger while at a pub, but here there are so many options and DELICIOUS options to choose from. Service is always friendly!

This place is great. I've made my career in sports with an area of expertise in women's sports and this bar is legit. I moved away from Portland not long before The Sports Bar opened and my friend have been patrons since day one. I *finally* was able to go on my last trip back. Did not disappoint!
Food was good. Lots of options for beers/drinks. Prices were reasonable. The decor was on point. Servers were busy but friendly. Everyone seemed happy to be there and watching women's sports without having to fight the person next to them to keep it on a women's game. Overall this place was awesome! Cannot wait to go back... plus the pride merch that I bought is very great.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
