Q:
Best place to park?
A:
When I drove there the first time I had to rely on street parking. That's all that is there.

Does the corn bread come in one size (only the one that's cut into 4 pieces)?
A:
As fas as I know, one size. In 4 pieces. If there was a larger size we would've definitely considered it. lol.

Yum! Ok we got the short rib, sausage, and corn bread. I regret only have two people there because we wanted to try the whole menu! The server was really patient with my friend and I as we debated between beef tri tip and short rib. He gave us the pros for both and we just couldn't decide! Finally we decided short rib because the server said everyone sitting in the restaurant at that moment ordered it. It was so juicy and flavorful. Definitely salivating as I write this review. The sausage was mixed between spicy and sweet. It was good but we liked the sweet one more and we got mostly spicy ones. That's ok. Still good.
Now... Best for last... CORNBREAD! It was so amazing I had to bring some back home for my fiance. Of course by the time I got home it was late and the wasn't hungry. This was Monday night. Come Tuesday he still didn't eat it. Finally on Wednesday afternoon I get a text from him while I'm at work "omg this corn bread is sooo good! Didn't expect it to be so good after being in the fridge for two days!" Mmm hmm. That good!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 13, 20241 check-in
Always a good meal here. Came for the short ribs, also ordered the sausage and vegetable medley. So good!
Service was good.
Ambiance was cool, and surely celebrated Filipino pride. Love it!
Will definitely come back for the short rib!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 13, 2024
I stumbled upon The Park's Finest BBQ during a road trip from San Francisco to San Diego, and it turned out to be a delightful pit stop along the way. Despite the challenge of finding parking in the neighborhood (we circled around three times!), the spacious and casual atmosphere comfortably accommodated our group of seven.
As for the food, it was all top-notch. My personal favorite was the Coconut Beef Adobo, but we also savored the short ribs, tri-tip, and the Smoked Gouda Mac on the side. Each dish complemented the others perfectly. To quench our thirst, we enjoyed the refreshing Calamansi Pilsner, which paired wonderfully with the meal. And for dessert, the Ube flan was an absolute delight--a truly delicious treat to round off the dining experience.
I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, and I'm already looking forward to returning. The customer service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Koorosh Z.Woodland Hills, CA35174323Apr 10, 20241 check-in
A different flavor BBQ. All I can say is LIGHTS OUT!! It's the same great BBQ you might be used to but They got a Philippino flair.
Let's get it out of the way. The corn was good and so were the spare ribs. If that's all I had the spot would've got a 4 star.
The spare rib was one of the best ribs I ever ate, and look and reviews, I've eaten some legendary BBQ spots in Texas and Tennessee, this rib hung with the best of them!!
The cornbread - WHOA Next level, and I mean that! It's soaked in Coconut milk or something. It was one of the best cornbread I ever had, top 3 FOR SURE.
Those two items deserved a 6 out 5 stars.
But the best part of it all was the owner hanging around and chatting with us. The pride he takes in his door and tradition is fantastic!
He told us to get the adobo but we went with the two ribs. He came by at the end and gave me a bowl (no small bowl). He said it's your first time, you have to try it! This dish was mind blowing, and I'm not just saying that.
It did put me over the edge and into a food coma, but man was it good. Flavor explosion!!
Don't wet the bed, go and get you grub on!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 8651133695Mar 31, 20241 check-in
Super small joint. Parking is street only and a bit tough. Ordered an esquite to start with. Came
In a bowl. Pretty good. Just missing lemon.
Ordered a hard apple cider but didn't like it. Had them take it off my check.
We ordered tri tip, Mac and cornbread. Once you check in there is an offer for free cornbread. Use it!!
Waiter said portions are for 2-3 ppl, family style. Glad he said that cuz we would've ordered too much.
Trip tip was cooked perfect. Just wish it didn't come out like warm. I liked Their house soy sauce on the table. Good combo.
Mac and cheese was delicious. Needed a little
Salt. But that cornbread was the STAR of
The show! You'll love it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1621297105Apr 21, 20241 check-in
Family feel - really appreciated the chef coming out to greet folks and share his energy, passion for food and the community. Limited vegetarian options but legit Filipino food, especially loved the bibinka corn bread, ube offerings, street parking and bit difficult but possible

Came here over the weekend for a friends bday dinner. Parking is quite difficult as you'll have to find street parking nearby or ride share if you're local. We had to park across the bridge in the nearby neighborhood.
My whole part ordered beers and they were pretty tasty. We ordered pretty much everything on the menu. Everything was SOOO good! I love Filipino food and bbq so it was a blast trying everything. Definitely the adobo was my favorite of the night. Super recommend coming here for a meal with friends !!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Michael R.Washington, DC107124911Apr 7, 2024
If you want good Filipino food from a family owned cozy staple in Filipino town then this is the place to go! Came by here during a visit to LA and it was recommended by some friends who live in the neighborhood and I was not disappointed at all. Here are some takeaways:
Environment
This is a small cozy restaurant that has a family style vibe to it. A great welcoming energy, we felt right at home. We stopped around midday during the week so it wasn't a lot of people there. Overall it was relaxing and warm - great for lunch with friends or if you're alone and want to grab a bite to eat.
Service
Our server happened to also be the daughter of the owners. She was great and was happy to share some of the history of the restaurant with me. She was very helpful with telling us about the food and giving us recommendations. Great service!
Food and drinks
We had a little bit of everything - and all of it was great! Here's a run down of everything we had:
MAMA LEAH'S COCONUT BEEF ADOBO
ANN'S CORNBREAD BIBINGKA
STEAMED WHITE RICE
NOEL'S SMOKED GOUDA MAC
SAN PABLO PULLED PORK
Everything was delicious. The coconut beef (amazing!) was great with the steamed white rice, the mac and cheese was tasty, the pulled pork had a lot of flavor and the cornbread was warm and sweet, but not too sweet. Again - all the food was great.
Overall
Lovely family owned restaurant. So glad that we stopped by here. If i'm ever in LA again this will definitely be a place I'll visit again. Great food with a great story.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 10, 20241 check-in
Great staff, great food, chill atmosphere! Most people come here with a group, and it's better that way because you can try most of their menu! The standouts I would say are the short rib and cornbread. Short rib is cooked for 12 hours so its super tender and delicious. The cornbread is on the sweet side so more like a dessert, on the chewier side but super delicious (make sure you check in on Yelp!). They have a unique menu so everything is worth trying once, hence bring friends! Bonus: def try the flan if you have room after all that meat. I definitely enjoyed my time here, great place to hang out over good food and drinks.
Parking: difficult but possible, we decided to take rideshare
Staff: amazing, attentive, friendlyHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 13, 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
First their menu especially the red lettered description was difficult to read at night.
Nothing special with the food. The only thing that I liked was the exquite corn dish although I think the corn was from a can. The coconut beef adobo had small pieces of beef and I was expecting large chunks of beef.
I had the calamansi Pilsner but not really tasted the calamansi. It was just a light beer.
They don't serve coffee.
Service was great but they seemed to take their time cleaning table.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mary Lou B.Los Angeles, CA13777155Apr 13, 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
Great food (nothing like it anywhere else). Amazing service! Felt cozy and homie since we walked in. And the whole restaurant sang hbd to my mom for her "sweet 16". Haha Where else do I go for that?!
Definitely will be going back!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
