The Old Union Hotel

Perfect dive bar.
Food was good, bartenders and locals were friendly. Good selection of beers on tap.
While I was there, they did a brisk takeout business.
I had a burger that was exactly what I was in the mood for and I hear the wings are great - I'll try them next time.

For people passing through like my family was on the way to the eclipse this place is a perfect stop for a road trip. Pizza was a great rectangle pie the wings are some of the best I've had both in size flavor and price. Kids had a blast looking at the pictures on the wall and the old Photo Booth. It was really a perfect stop for a perfect once in a lifetime trip. Thank you union hotel!

The food here lives up to the hype! We dined in on a busy Friday night. Service was great and we were seated right away, despite being there during a peak time. We ordered several types of wings. The hot and honey sriracha were phenomenal. It's easy to see why they have won so many awards. We also had the steamed clams, fried potstickers, and macaroni bites. All were winners.

We liked it so much we ordered take out the next day. It wasn't as good as when we dined in. We got more wings which were great and didn't disappoint. However we got a pizza that was bland and missing cheese from half of it and a cheesesteak sub that had no condiments on it (even though I requested some).

We would return to Old Union Hotel but only to dine in and it would be hard to order anything besides those amazing chicken wings.

This place has amazing food, you cannot complain. And a nice outdoor patio if the weather is okay.

A great pick in the area to stop for great food, and indeed it was. The interior of this restaurant has many decors that are appealing to look at, most of which contain the old western feel.

It took a bit to wait but we were seated once the table was cleared and ready. The tables were spread apart making enough room which made it convenient. Looking at the menu, the chicken wings are their big, "go-to," so tasty, smelly, and delicious. Of course, it will be messy, so napkins are extremely helpful. They also offer other foods which contain burgers, pizza, soup, sandwiches, salads, etc., you name it, all tasty. If only I lived closer, I'd be here a lot!

The only drawback I have are, the waiting area blocks the kitchen door, also, the men's bathroom is right in the corner where someone could be hit, and the parking lot can be a major task. It would be awesome to see an improvement in that.

Besides that, make this your stop in the area!

Skin SO crispy, meat So Tender! Best wings by a wide margin in the United States! The food here is exquisite! This is a dive bar extraordinaire and the clientele is wonderful. You can sit in the bar area and soak up the local culture with great music or sit in the dining room for a more sedate environment but the Old Union Hotel is a home run! This place has been open since 1888 and is usually packed with good reason--it's excellent!

The service is beyond exceptional and if you don't appreciate the tin ceilings and ambiance, you're brain dead. This is one of the most exceptional local bar experiences ever. Absolutely a can't miss opportunity if you're in the area!! I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

The food itself was great. Love their wings and the garlic parm fries were crispy and had great flavor. The service was average at best. Typical bar style service and look inside.

The biggest disappointment was the $4 charge if you use anything other than cash. I mean $4 to use a debit card seems a little steep. Passing the cost of doing business on to the customers and then some.

Owner is very kind and welcoming. Food is amazing. Bartenders top notch. Love the atmosphere. Kept the old bar charm.
