The Joint Chiropractic

The Joint is a great place to go if your body is in fairly good shape and you don't have a lot of money.

I was in a motorcycle accident 5 years ago and went to a specialty chiropractor 2-3 times a week for a year at a cost of over 5,000$ out of pocket cost with insurance. If the joint was around, I would have received 80% of the service at 20% of the cost.

I have been to Joints all across the country and they all have good to great chiropractors. They tend to not have poor or excellent ones, but this makes sense when you look at their business philosophy of not taking insurance or auto claims, and passing on the savings of minimal administrative costs onto the consumer.

As for great and poor adjustments. I've had it all and the poor ones usually happen when I'm tired, stressed or had a physical set back and the great once happen when I'm able to let go and trust the doctor.

I've been going here for roughly 18 months for regular maintenance. The best part of The Joint is that you don't need an appointment to get care. The main docs are Mitch and John who are awesome, friendly and take great care of your needs.

Pros/Cons - with no appointment motto, you can get in right away unless it's busy and you might have to wait a little. If someone is a new patient to The Joint their appointment might take around 20 mins. Some other Joints have also high turnover on docs but this one seems to maintain the same ones which is a good thing!

Dr. Mitch is awesome! Great adjustment, very efficient as I was only there for a little while. Always a good time when I visit.

I have had a great experience with them they had some stretches for me to do which help my lower back feel loose. Been to many chiropractors and love this one

This is absolutely the best experience I've had with chiropractic care!!! I was actually able to get an amazing adjustment on my first visit which took care of my lingering migraine. I work in healthcare and my schedule is as unpredictable as it gets. Their walk in service and scanning card get me in and out quickly, as I need, with superior care and service. Their packages and pricing are also very convenient and I never have to negate my care due to insurance or cost of care. Both Dr.s I have seen have given excellent adjustments and were able to fix problems my last two chiropractors couldn't. I highly recommend being seen!!!!!

I don't know why this place has such poor reviews. I just transferred from the Apply Valley location and it's the exact same. Great adjustments for your money.

First visit showed up to only be met with sign on door stating they needed to close early and to please call the below number. That number was to a Dist Manager at Massage Envy. Phone call never returned.
Second visit, no one in lobby area. The chiropractor tried checking me in on computer and having issues. He then took me to the back and obviously didn't review my file or listen to my requests. He just tried giving me a very basic adjustment, unable to make those basic adjustments and recommended I take a hot bath with salts!! Recommend NOT visiting the Woodbury location!!

I would give it less than a one if I could. I had a specific issue, told the provider, he ignored that and did a " general" adjustment that included doing the "table drop" three times. The next day I was in terrible pain and went to the doctor. Turned out the chiropractor sprained my back. Never again!

I would highly recommend NOT going here. Save your $29 for something else. The "doctor" here is a total joke and absolutely terrible. He made up excuses for not being able to make any adjustments, and when he tried to adjust my neck he put his hands all over my face. It grossed me out. He was also unable to adjust my back. So I essentially spent 3 minutes not getting adjusted and it cost me $29. Don't go here.
