I recently stayed here for work, and overall, I was less than impressed.

To start, this hotel is located about half an hour from the airport, and is quite far from the centre of Milan. In fact, there is actually nothing in this area to do, and from what I have heard from the hotel staff, is considered an 'unsafe' area after hours.

The staff were pleasant, but did not go out of their way in any manner in providing services, and provided very 'basic' information. In fact, I inquired about their shuttle services to the metro, and the facilities in the hotel, and was given inadequate and inaccurate instructions by several staff members.

The rooms are quite small and 'minimalistic,' with basic furnishings and linens, including a bed, and built-in table. There is a small fridge and safe in each room, as well as a TV (with 1 English channel, EuroNews).

The bathrooms are equipped with a shower and toilet, but no bath. The toiletries are also quite basic in nature.

I did use the gym which is attached to a spa and pool. This is located on the 14th floor with a nice view (and although it says panoramic, it is a panoramic view of the industrial setting). The gym has several treadmills, and elliptical machine, free weights, a workout bench and exercise bike. I did not use the spa facilities.

There is a free breakfast buffet which is a typical hotel continental breakfast with cereal, fruits, pastries, coffee/tea.

We dined at the restaurant as a group, and I must say, it was INCREDIBLY disappointing. We were provided with a set menu, which include lasagna mignon to start, which was bland and unappealing. This was followed by veal parmigiana, which was really a greasy breaded and fried veal cutlet served with greasy french fries - most of us asked for 'something else' which ended up being a very unusual salad of mixed greens with corn, and tomatoes. The dessert of yogurt semifreddo was the saving grace (but not great). Overall, we all left hungry and unsatisfied. To note, we were the only ones dining in the restaurant, and really the only guests in the hotel as well, which is likely an indication of its reputation.

We also held the first day of our business meetings at the hotel, in a small conference room on the bottom level. There was inadequate ventilation (in very hot weather).

As mentioned, the location is a very inconvenient location - 1/2 an hour away from the nearest airport, and it requires a shuttle to get to the metro, followed by having to take the metro (approx half an hour) to get to Milan. There is nothing in this area to do or see, and it is not worth the price to stay here.

I would not recommend this place overall.

The Hotel was excellent. Service was fast & friendly, they speak every important european language (French, Italian, English, German). Breakfast was fresh and had quite a lot of stuff to choose from. Pool & Gym on the top floor as well as a Spa are the perfect way to relax & chill out. Only fault we did find is the AC in the rooms. It keeps the rooms cool, which is a great thing during Milan's hot days, but we couldn't figure out how to turn it off as it got really cold during the night. An instruction manual for these things would have been nice. Apart from that, everything was splendid & top of the line.
