You can't go wrong with the eateries in Doylestown. Add this one to your list! Interesting atmosphere, good service and good food.

This is a nice spot. The old hotel/Inn is quite cool, and the decor of the restaurant is great. We split an arugula salad; it was pretty good, but either underdressed or the dressing itself lacked flavor.
I had the chicken and egg sandwich. It was amazing. The fried chicken thigh was well-seasoned and huge. The bacon was great and the egg was cooked perfectly. Fries were fine, but not great. My friend had the same, but without the egg. She thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our server was friendly but clearly overworked and didn't check on us that often. Food did come out very quickly, though.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Debbie K.Flemington, NJ2162595163May 15, 20242 check-ins
Cute place. Affordable food and drinks. Service is good.
Nothing stood out to me as outstanding but not bad.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 44275671Nov 9, 2023
Walking into the Hattery in Doylestown reminds me of stepping back in time. Eclectic, charming and decorated in such a way I know full well I was missing something. The restaurant/bar is attached to a bed and breakfast/hotel that has me aching to staycation here in DTown. such a warm inviting and comfortable atmosphere.
The Hattery has a very minimal menu, The food was served in human sized portions - this is not a place that inundates you with food - they make tasty well thought out items and serve them pleasingly. We came for the scotch egg. My guy has long been hoping to find these on a menu anywhere and The Hattery just so happen to serve such a treat. A full four thumbs up from us both and a full four-star review.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 7, 2024
The ambience is quite nice. The crowd is a little pretentious & discourteous. The food: wonderful. I ordered the Potato Latke - 5 stars. The bar, 4 stars. The service - 4 stars. I don't have much else to say about this place. I was in & out in 30-35 minutes - that says enough.

We walked by this restaurant after dining at another place in Doylestown. We were so intrigued that we decided to make a reservation for the following weekend.
We love the quirky ambiance; all the different chandeliers and overhead hat lighting at the bar is very unique.
The service was great and so was the food. The deviled eggs are worth the hype, and we can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu. The drinks were also divine. No notes - we will be back soon!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Sep 8, 2023
Except for the parking situation in Doylestown which is always an issue this restaurant is a gem. I've been here three times now and it never disappoints. I love the downstairs dining room. It's a bit more comfortable and the tables are spread out more.
Everything I have eaten here from deviled eggs to their homemade chips in cheese sauce is wonderful. Brunch is amazing there as well as dinner.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - carol b.LAFAYETTE HL, PA147217Feb 22, 2024
For an amazing casual meal, this has become our go-to place when we go to Doylestown. I've just had the best onion soup ever, with plenty of short rib, cheese and some fried rosemary. My partner had a Cobb salad with a punchy mustard dressing . I know there are lots of good restaurants within minutes of here, but we can't pass this up.

Food was average at best. Was supposed to be potato soup- reminded me of sausage gravy which I would never eat. FF we're put into one of those cutesy baskets and was coated with crunchy stuff, no thanks. Special sauce on burger was from a Big Mac-I think- never ate a Big Mac
No real choice in salad dressing all some sort of vinaigrette.
Ambiance was ok if you like the rustic J Crew look. Trying to look rustic but I surly wasn't impressed.
Service- basically threw the food at you. Served warm soup no spoon. Main server never appeared after taking order-food runner brought main course- not even a "need anything else. Left a 25% tip don't know why. Has to be a better place. Just not my kind of place. As I said before- I'm not a J Crew kinda person.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
