Hi Donna, we do not pick up furniture. You might try the Salvation Army. College Hunks also picks up furniture for a fee.

Their parking lot that had been in construction for a year is finally open! On top of that, they also have street parking available. I've bought some nice dress shirts here that were good brands such as Express or J. Crew. Their men's section is bigger than most Goodwill stores.
Of note, this Goodwill is open on Sundays while most Goodwills aren't. They have a colored tag that changes every Friday that gets a 50% discount if your item has the same colored tag. Overall, the clothes here are a good value for the price you're paying with most items being less than $10, sometimes $5.
Unlike other reviews, I've personally never had any problems with the staff.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Molly B.Boston, MA274173Mar 2, 2023Updated review
From 2021: I was in yesterday and staff were extremely rude to me. I was followed around the store, yelled at for things I didn't even do (they accused me of putting clothes back in the wrong spot), and staff stood way too close to me and just stared at me. I was very uncomfortable and upset by my experience. One store employee was particularly rude to me and I felt like she was just trying to antagonize me and start a fight. She had an aggressive tone and clearly sighed at me like I was exasperating her by my presence at the store. I'm very disappointed by the staff and lack of customer service at this location. Staff definitely need additional training on how to engage with customers.
Update - I went back again in February 2023 and had a similar experience. There is one particular employee who has a chip on her shoulder. She is blatantly rude to customers and accused me of moving clothing too quickly and putting clothing on a couch (something I didn't do). This location needs some serious work.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1Nov 10, 2021Previous reviewI was in yesterday and staff were extremely rude to me. Very disappointed. Was shopping and buying things off the rack. The items that had prices on it were items that were marked down for that specific price which I understood. But then when the cashier had seen that I had items that were name brands that weren't marked, she changed them to the price she believed they should have been when they were with the other items on the rack that were priced on sale. Then items that can only fit children, I was told it wasn't for children and they tried charging me more for them which I left them. Had I been able to pay attention to when each item was being marked I would've left more behind but there was a line and the store was closing: very disappointing experience to the point I have no desire to return back. It should be a place where people can shop and not feel like their items are being marked more than what it showed on the signs.

Well-stocked with clothing, set aside a good amount of patience and time to sort through the racks. Friendly, hardworking staff. Limited parking due to construction in the area.

I brought an entire suv full of things from my child's apartment. The drop off trailer was neat, organized and spotless. The man working there was fantastic.

Well I used to go to this Good Will 2 x a week! Now I will not go till the parking lot is open! Coming from out of Boston and hoping to find a parking space on the street with out getting a $45 ticket is the reason! Also staff should be polite and not hang up on calling customers! Send the over glow of Hard Gods and Clothing to other stores! Also why change $26 if an item is broken! Staff Shane checking this out! If you live in the city you are lucky ! If not forget this place for now!

This used to be an amazing location. The staff was super grumpy but the finds were pretty solid. Last year, Goodwill switched to a new business model, pulling any donations of value and selling it online for ridiculous prices. They've always had an auction site but it was small and nothing special. Now, it's a massive undertaking of hired people to pull good brands, fibers, etc. and list it on their reselling site for huge profits. I didn't find anything above a mall or TJ Maxx brand here today. The only stuff left here is cheap Amazon fast fashion, Old Navy and Forever 21. The racks are so packed that you can't move anything and it's because people aren't buying this junk. I stopped in today, which is a senior day and usually super busy, and it was a ghost town. They usually have like 10 people restocking constantly and there was only one lady with one rack. I have shopped here for years and always leave with a huge bag. Sadly, today I didn't buy a single thing. Such a shame. I hope Bostonians stop donating to a store that turns around and sells anything decent online rather than recycling it back into the community. The staff was way down so they can't even say that they are providing jobs to the community anymore.

I asked the woman why I was being charged $14.99 when coats are $9.99 and she just kept repeating that it's 14.99 and do I want it or not. Man, did I want to tell her to stick it but I really needed the coat, Same thing with another vest (see my other review, these ladies really seem to hate the vest wearers) she kept arguing that it was a sweater not a vest. if it doesn't have arms, it's a vest! yes, it was a knit material but that's not what makes a sweater a sweater lol. I get that they probably have people arguing about pricing all day but I can see why. She would hold each item up and the gear would grind to life as she tried to find anything about the item that would warrant higher pricing. looking at labels, etc. The cashiers need a class on what is what in the store. She was just miserable in general and her misery is losing sales for the company she works for. Its weird that all this stuff is literally given to them and the workers will fight to the death so confidently when they are laughably wrong. I won in the end because she rang up a silk blouse as a pajama top so that offset the overcharge on the vest. A small victory but a victory nonetheless. This is the only goodwill I go to that has this issue. The rest of them are super nice and charge correctly so it seems these ladies have a big old chip on their shoulder. Anyway, watch the register as your stuff is being rung up. they seem to have massive issues with checking people out.
Jun 19, 2022Previous reviewI have been in here multiple times as of late and there is one cashier who overcharges. She charged me for jacket prices for a vest. charged me for a long sleeve shirt when I bought a tank and charged me coat prices for a work blazer. Once is a mistake but this many times is purposeful. She also tried to charge me for "formalwear" when I was buying a short club dress. Please tell me where on god's green earth a short sequined club dress from a mall store is considered formal if I tried to wear that anywhere formal dress was required, I'd be thrown out. I laughed and said no thanks. I'm unsure why she does it. She's just losing sales for the store.
Nov 28, 2021Previous reviewThe ladies that stock the rack are so incredibly rude. It feels like they are trying to antagonize you while you shop. They will literally shove in front of you to put something away. Like it needs to be in the exact spot where you are and they don't say anything. They just stand there an inch away from you, looking at you with an attitude or reach right in front of you to jam it into what your looking at. They'll deliberately stand in front of your cart and pretend they can't hear you when you say "excuse me". I've seen them do it to others as well. On one trip, I was standing at the end of an aisle making a keep and put back pile. One of the women came up and started making comments about people leaving stuff behind and went to grab my stuff. I said "oh. That's mine, I'm taking those." She then started berating me for "leaving things behind". Like, I'm standing right here and claiming these items. I'm not leaving them behind. She just kept at me even though I was clearly not leaving anything behind. She was just so mad about what she perceived. If I was leaving stuff behind, I would have just kept my mouth shut and let her take them but she just couldn't see the logic in that. Honestly, I don't know how they keep their jobs. That being said, the people that run the registers are awesome and super nice.

Accidentally clicked on "no" when asked if I'd recommend this store. Can't take it back. I would recommend! Yes, hit or miss but it all depends on what you're looking for. The outlet section is quite an experience.. can be fun.
