The Doggy Detailer

My mom has been bringing her toy poodle here for years, so when I finally adopted mine, of course she suggested that I have her groomed by Julene. But I live 25 minutes from my mom, so the travel time deterred me. I called a nearby groomer with exceptionally high marks and it turned out she was booked solid for the next 2 months. Anyone who knows poodles knows they can't go that long without a professional grooming. I asked my mom for Julene's contact info and she sent me a link to her Genbook. Genius! Naturally, Julene was booked up as well, but this way I could stalk her page for cancelations (this is how I get many of my appointments with various services).

We don't know her full history pre-shelter, but it's clear that my little girl has been through a lot. Yet despite everything she's been through, she is learning to trust me to take care of her. Trusting her to someone else's care is a tremendous risk. Most pet parents will tell you that it's as much about the feeling you get around someone as anything - we allow our instincts to guide us. From the moment I walked through the door, I had the best feeling about Julene and her team. The level of knowledge and genuine caring was evident immediately. They spent 15 minutes talking to me about the details of her grooming. By the time we were finished, I knew deep in my heart that she would be just fine.

Julene promised to text me when they were finished, so I headed out to do some grocery shopping. I got the text about an hour and a half later. When I arrived back at the salon, OH MY! Now my little girl is always beautiful, but wow did they bring out her shine even more. And in addition to being gorgeous, she was actually looking comfortable with someone other than me (which never happens). Suffice it to say, I went home and immediately booked her next grooming at The Doggy Detailer. The convenience of a nearby groomer would be nice, but after this experience, there's no one for us but Julene!

We bring our dog George here all the time and always get a great cut and great service. They're the best!!!

My four-legged son was overflowing with hair, although after a good brushing. It was so soft and plush! That said, the weather is getting warmer, and I wouldn't want him to feel uncomfortable.

After his spa time, he looked and probably felt like a brand new boy! Thanks SO much!

Julene and her team are simply the BEST. Once we discovered them in February 2023, we booked our two dogs' appointments out for the rest of the year. Julene is accommodating, responsive, kind, and gracious. Duke and Zoe have never looked so stylish!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have been bringing my dog, Buddy here for a few years now and always get great service. Buddy always looks so amazing after his spa day.
Buddy was a rescue who spent most of his young life caged. He has cage trauma as a result this was the reason I started bringing him here is because it's a cage free groomer.

I'm a fan. Nice clean shop. Hard working people. Reasonable prices.
Julene and Rosie are my "go tos" when my dogs need haircuts or pop in pedicures.

This place is the best & awesome that it exists! I've never gotten my dog groomed here but I've been coming here for a while to use the self wash & it's clean & they give you everything you need hassle free! $10 on tues/thurs which is great! My dog loves the experience as well besides the blow dryer he still hates that!

I stated that her mane was gone and cut down to her undercoat, not that her undercoat was gone. And my family and I are still trying to figure out how me communicating 'very light trim' meant chopping off a whole inch of hair through the perimeter of her mane. I have been to 3 previous groomers due to moving cities and they have never cut my dogs hair this short and uneven. Also stating that she should just 'enjoy' the chop you gave her completely undermines the fact that it wasn't what we asked and are still really sad for how you made our dog look. Luckily hair does grow back, we will just have to wait months for it to hopefully look like it used to.

Awesome!! I was a little apprehensive about going to a new groomer...my old groomer wouldn't take my little Lady due to an injured leg...but I am so glad I found Doggy Detailers! They were so welcoming and nice from the minute we walked in. My pup went straight in and had no cages to be put in...they let them roam and play with the other dogs that are there. She loved it and started playing with 2 doggos that were there. They did an amazing job on her(she's a long hair chihuahua mix) and boy her fur was long and definitely needed a cut. The little bandana they put on her to top it off was the best. Thank you ladies and to Rosie who took such good care of her. We have found our forever groomer!!
