The Cutting Room

My hair was lifeless without any volume. I needed something new but at the same time was a little unsure about what would work for me. I made an appointment with Marissa and she was just wonderful to work with. She talked with me to get a sense for what would work best for me and what my hair goals were. I trusted her and told her I wanted to look feminine and just needed an updated look. She gave me a fantastic cut that achieved all of my goals and really complimented my features. My hair has life and volume and I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair. Marissa has a very nice relaxing space and is very easy to talk to. I highly recommend her and will continue to go back!

Hadn't had a cut in 7 months (thanks, pandemic), and was really feeling lost under too much shapeless hair. I am so glad I found Marisa! She is really easy to chat with, super responsive, a true artist, and the best part for me - collaborative if you don't quite know what you want. I like to bring pictures, share the kind of vibe I'm going for, and let the professional loose to work their magic, and Marisa delivered so well! I went from a grown-out barbershop taper to a flexible pixie, and I feel so much more at home in myself now. The space was lovely and clean, and the whole experience was a great one. I'll be back!

I had a wedding to go to in less than a week and Marisa was generous enough to squeeze me in for a trim. I have a bleached pixie, and she gave me a FANTASTIC trim that upgraded the cut without losing my grow out. She also did quick color correction on some yellow spots for me. Very sweet and easy to chat with. The salon has a parking lot and it's cute inside, only downside is if she didn't come out to meet me at the entrance I would have had a hard time finding it as it's in a huge old mill building with lots of other businesses. Worth it tho!
