This is the best training I have ever had. The workout is varied and suited to your level. I'm never bored and Coach B is fun and tough. I will NEVER work out in a gym again. The people in it are really great as well. A+++++

I've seen so many people go through this program with great success. Everyone from a 16 year old soccer player wanting extra training, to a 60 year old looking to keep up their fitness, and stay-at-home moms in lululemon pants... and everything in between. I call it my "exercise club" because he doesn't bark orders, and doesn't treat us like soldiers... we are all treated like athletes and respected for where we are at. As a yogi, I prefer this approach.
It's also more affordable than many of the "hot, trendy" exercise fads coming through town (crossfit, bar method, etc). Those are typically overrated and cult-like, in my opinion.
Greg's boot camp is a great way to be outside in the fresh air, meet good people, and get in shape the right way. I'll continue to do this program 3 days a week, as long as I am able!
Greg is the most dedicated coach I know - he will show up, rain or shine. He also works to foster community among his groups (insider tip: ask to be included in steak dinners!)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kamla K.San Francisco, CA8327Aug 19, 2012
Greg is awesome. I don't go to boot camp often enough. Mostly due to my inability to avoid sunday funday. and as a result not waking up in time for a 7 am class.
But even going only 1-2 times a week, I'm able to do way more than i was ever able to do working out in a gym. I can jog the entirety of Delores from 18th to 25th (slowely.. but surely). It's simple. We live in a city with lots of really really big hills. so why would anyone run on a treadmill at 12% (btw.. I could probabl do that now.)
Greg is also really great with injuries. I should say... helping cater a workout to people with injuries. I've been going for about 10 months now. I have knee problems, and a pretty bad lower back problem, but he's great at giving you things to do that don't make you feel like a useless sack while everyone else who didn't inherit a body of an 80 year old woman at 27 years old do the normal thing.
I wish classes could be more often.. more because it'd be nice to have a more flexible schedule with classes. but 9 classes a week, three days a week is pretty decent. and I should really just avoid day drinking on sundays. or just suck it up and go to boot camp anyway.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Emilie N.San Francisco, CA01Apr 23, 2017
This review is long overdue. I have known Greg Bianchi, affectionately referred to as "Coach B" for almost ten years. He is unusual to say the least in the fitness industry. Unusual in the sense, that he is able to engender a feeling of great community with all of the people he works with, regardless of age or gender. He is also, so much fun to be with and someone who is engaged in life and it shows up in the way he lives his own life.
I meet him in my 50s and I am now 65 and in the best shape ever but more than that I feel vital, relevant, and able to meet and overcome challenges in my life. So those of you, who are thinking about getting fit (young or old) please work with Coach B. He will change your attitude, outlook and to be sure your body. Good luck!!

I've been going to Greg's boot camp for over two years now, after a decade of failing to stick to exercise regimes. I absolutely love it. It's basically like having a personal trainer, only at a far better price, with great company and camaraderie, in beautiful settings. (I go to the 6am class, and I have now seen lots of sunrises over the city.) It is not an overstatement to say that it changed my life.
Greg is a remarkable coach. He works with everyone at their level, making sure that things are challenging but not impossible. You'll get an amazing workout, and likely make some friends along the way.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jo P.San Francisco, CA124Jun 18, 2014
I went to Coach Bianchi for help with my running and after a couple one on ones, he had me feeling stronger and more confident in my running than I ever have before. I expected someone who would just make me run nonstop, but Coach Bianchi worked on fixing all of my crooked body mechanics so my running is more effective and I'm less likely to get injured.
When I switched to his group bootcamps I was pleasantly surprised to find that even with groups you still get a workout tailored to your ability that pushes you, and makes you find (and work!) muscles you didn't even know you had!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - rebecca k.San Francisco, CA042Apr 26, 2014
Long overdue review of Bianchi Fitness. After doing several other boot camps, I finally found Greg and have been hooked for the last 5 years.
Greg is awesome - a great motivating trainer who knows his stuff.
He's not some new fly-by-night-just-got-certified-trainer who just started his boot camp business (lots of them out there!). Instead, Greg has been in the business for over 10 years, holds a Master's Degree in Sports Science, coaches Track and Field at SF City College, and was a collegiate athlete himself. So yea, Greg lives for fitness.
If you're looking to change up your fitness routine or just get started (Greg is great at dealing with all levels) come and check him out. I promise you'll be happy you did!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amy S.San Francisco, CA03Jan 6, 2018
Greg is an outstanding personal trainer. He provides a lot of positive feedback and positive energy and motivation while still pushing you hard in each workout. He also knows a lot about nutrition and metabolism and how that will work in concert with workouts for overall health and fitness. Every workout is different and tailored to where you are in your life at that moment. And he delivers real results, follow his advice and you'll be in your skinniest skinny jeans in no time!!!

After I finished the San Francisco Marathon, I was burnt out on running but needed something to keep my level of fitness in tact. I had attended a couple classes of Greg's prior to my training, so I decided to go back on a more regular basis.
Greg is an amazing guy and a former track coach and University of Arizona track star. What I love about his classes are he caters to each person individually and gives different assignments to people based on their capabilities.
The prices are reasonable, and Greg offers a wide array of times and locations, so as to allow as many people as possible the opportunity to join. Not to mention, all the people in his classes are pretty awesome, as well. If you're going to run up and down mammoth hills, sweating blood and hauling around 25-pound weights with you in the process, you want to do so alongside cool people, right?
His workouts also ALWAYS kick your ass. After running 26.2 miles, I didn't think much would make me sore, but inevitably, it's always hard for me to roll myself out of bed the day after I've taken one of his classes. And it's the good kind of pain.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - De W.San Francisco, CA032Apr 6, 2015
Greg is the BEST!!!!!!!!!
After suffering from chronic knee issues that would side line me for weeks if I pushed too hard, I found Coach Greg. NEVER do my knees hurt now.
He is working on my strength, balance, stamina, cardio, and motivation. He is a gifted teacher who diagnoses what the imbalance is and tailors the workouts to meet my needs. Never boring, always interesting, kind, smart guy, interesting, and the session is over before you know it. He really is great. I am not a gym person, but Coach Greg has his own gym and tailors everything to your needs. The best.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
