Outstanding customer service from Zonia in the rental office. She went over and above trying to help me out. Against my protestations, during the virtual tour, she went out into gawdawful weather to show me the patio. When we ran into some issues, she was there to try and smooth things out. That emphasis on client services really impressed me.

I've been here for 3 years and honestly it's amazing & still affordable in this ever gentrifying location.
Location is great just close enough to everything but still out of the hustle & downtown noise.
Close to a Starbucks, Publix, 24 hour Walgreens & Shell stations.
Pools & Grill areas have been renovated and are a perfect spot during the summer.
Grounds are clean & well maintained.
Zonia & Adonte (Im sorry if that's wrong!) ARE AMAZING! Always polite, friendly, helpful & ready to see how better they can assist you.
I would love to see an additional speed bump & better lighting at night. Though I've never felt unsafe.
I'd also love it if they didn't treat long time residents like new ones when/if they look to upgrade.
Overall I love living here & am renewing my lease again this week.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Zachary F.Nashville, TN901May 16, 2019
Office & maintenance staff are GREAT. Guy always hooks us up quickly whenever we encounter a maintenance issue. The pools & fitness facility are very nice, especially for an apartment complex. The grounds are beautiful & well manicured.
The only con: rent has gotten a bit pricey.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Haneef S.San Francisco, CA01Sep 25, 2018Updated review

Unit# 2012Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Aug 17, 2018Previous reviewI decided that the apartment I was currently living in was not living up to my expectations after moving in. Therefore, I started my search for a new location. Zonia returned a call I placed to Arbor of Brentwood. She is definitely an asset to your organization. She invited me to come take a look. Which I did. I was blown away by her kindness and how what she outlined on the phone is exactly what I saw. Therefore, I decided to relaocate to Arbors of Brentwood. Thanks Zonia for understanding my needs and providing me a solution. :)

I've lived in Arbors of Brentwood since May 2013 (and my husband has lived there even longer). Our experiences started out great- too good to be true even- and as management changed so did the level of care for this complex. By the end of our lease, we had been paying $1100 for a 1bed/1bath unit. While I do consider this price pretty steep, I also take into account the many benefits that come with it: three great pools, an amazing workout facility with new equipment, doorside trash pickup, an outdoor grilling area, and being an exceptionally short distance to the interstate/grocery stores/everything you need. All that being said, during our last year (Dec 2016-Dec 2017) the maintenance service we've received has been lacking, to put it politely. On April 16, we found freely-flowing water coming out of lightbulb socket in our closet that held our water heater. Water was dripping out of the heater in the unit above us, and just so happened to be exiting in the worst way possible. After a lengthy process that included a commercial grade dehumidifier and floor fan running 24/7 in the closet, a large section of carpet ripped up from the floor, and a small square cut into the drywall of our closet's ceiling, we finally had our unit back to normal over a week and a half later. We were made to pay the entire (much higher) electric bill that month with no help from the office. In September, we found water freely flowing from a vent in our bathroom ceiling. That was never fixed. When they finally did reach out to set a repair date, we'd already decided to leave, and told them to wait until we were gone.
To me, however, the worst offense was sometime in the summer of 2017: I got home from work around 3:30pm and found a key plugged into the lock of my apartment's front door. I assumed the maintenance staff had left it there to alert me that someone was completing work in my home. When I opened the door, the apartment was empty. To reiterate, my apartment was left unlocked literally all day because someone left the office's copy in the lock for hours. When I called the front office, I was transferred to maintenance very rudely by the office staff member, and was then told by the maintenance supervisor that I was overreacting. I was overreacting because my home was unlocked for the entire day. He also informed me that I was, "getting mad at the wrong people because I don't know if it was one of our employees who left it there or if it was from another company that we've contracted to do work." He literally tried to deflect the blame because I was upset about this situation. I still am in shock about that part. About 20 minutes later, that maintenance supervisor came by the apartment to pick up the key. He spoke with my husband but I could still hear him being extremely flippant and unsympathetic about the whole thing. The next day, that same rude office member called me and asked if we wanted the locks changed. She said her number one priority is customer service and all I could do was laugh silently to myself.
If the rent was cheaper, I'd honestly be recommending this place to everyone. It's a little too pricey for what you get, sadly. I've attached photos of the water damage (and the hole cut in our ceiling, haha) so you can decide for yourself.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi, Mariel, I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with our community during the last year. The major renovation projects this last year have caused things to be hectic, but that is no excuse for the unsatisfactory service your received, so please accept my apology. I only regret that you will not be with us to enjoy the benefits of our newly renovated community. Please feel free to contact me directly and I will be happy to discuss any unresolved issues with you.

I love living at here! Great location, amazing value, and the staff is so friendly and efficient! I've lived here for two years and since moving to nashville this is one of the best apartments I've stayed in!
My pups especially love the dog park that is huge relative to most complexes and gives them tons of space to run around!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ish D.Murfreesboro, TN12Apr 5, 2018
I am a new resident of the Arbors and prior to moving I shopped other communities. I read so many great reviews about the Arbors, so I had to check them out. I came in and dealt with Zonia and I must say I was very impressed with her and the community. Newly renovated and a dope gym, I was sold. Ms. Zonia has been very pleasant and helpful and personable, I could really go on and on about her. I am glad I chose the Arbors, I am very happy with my choice. Definitely come by and check them out.

Let me just start with the incompetency this "company" provides.
I have lived here nearly three years and have never experienced a problem up until recently. But today was my final straw. I walked into my house with my entire kitchen flooded. It had gone all the way into my living room and my laundry room. I called multiple times and was told that this was not an emergency and that it has to wait until normal business hours. Let's just break this down, I can't use my dishwasher and sink because if I do my entire kitchen is covered in 2-3 inches water within minutes. I live on an upper level unit, so this water is not only soaking my floor, but the residents below me are starting to deal with it too. When I decided to speak to the office staff, she told me that they have over 150 unfulfilled maintenence requests and that mine is not a priority. All while telling me that she went without A/C for a week, that it just has to be dealt with. So I have to go without using my kitchen for a week according to the consultant. Again, incompetent. She then proceeded to tell me that she could do nothing... really helpful. So if you're still reading this. Let me just go farther...
So to add onto my flooded kitchen, my daughter was bit by a brown recluse spider. We were told pest control wasn't allowed unless all residents agreed to it in the building. What? So I have to put my daughter in two times the harsh and unhealthy living conditions. That's insane.
But the last lovely issue I have, is that a hole in my popcorn ceiling has arose. I put in a request for it to be fixed in April. Still nothing. So I go to the leasing manager, she comes to look at it and tells me someone will be out the next day and that she also heard that my a/c sounded odd and wanted to get someone to look at it. That was mid may, so here I am still waiting June 10.
So if you want unreasonable rent, terrible living conditions, and incompetent office staff then this is the place for you!! But if not, I suggest running as far away as possible. This place is going downhill fast and all of their residents know it.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Since I had the opportunity to speak with you yesterday, I will respond to your post. At Arbors of Brentwood, we are proud to offer 24 hour emergency maintenance service 7 days a week; however, we must limit those after hours services to a short list of items. This incident was the result of clogged sink that occurred on Saturday. A clogged kitchen sink is not normally categorized as an emergency service. Our on call maintenance technician did come and try to unclog it, but the food debris was too tightly packed into the sink, so he did have to call a plumber who did resolve the problem on Saturday night. As far as the pest control, we do have weekly pest control service and it is available at no charge for any resident who calls to schedule it for their home. At the Arbors of Brentwood, we do try to offer the best possible customer service so I am sorry that you are unhappy with what we have done for you. If you have any more concerns, please feel free to call my office or stop by and visit me at any time.

I've been living here for almost 2 years. Every time I have had a maintenance request they have fixed it right away. A few things here and there like my toilet needing something in it replaced, and my air conditioning/heating unit was leaking and that took about 2 weeks to fully get fixed. Aside from issues here and there, there was one time I had a crack in my tub and they asked if I could board my dog but on such short notice and on spring break I couldn't find a boarding place and I was worried. Luckily, they let me put my dog in an empty apartment before it was to be cleaned so she didn't have to be exposed to the chemicals and I didn't have to pay!
Also, I love how dog friendly it is and the trees are gorgeous. I notice also that the landscaping is taking a turn for the best and the new painting has helped as well. My only Con is that for the price I'm paying I wouldn't mind having wood floors. Wood floors are my dream!! :) Anyway, this is a good place to live and lots of friendly people and the staff has improved immensely.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
