The Alpine Studio Bed & Breakfast (3 bed: king, full, twin1 bath/full kitchen) is child and pet friendly. Located on historic Murphy Street in downtown Alpine, it is in walking distance of everything in Alpine and 25 mins from Marfa/Fort Davis/Marathon and 1 hour north of Big Bend National Park. The Studio is filled with art: open, spacious colorful and charming. Come stargaze!

Your own little slice of heaven in downtown Alpine, TX. I loved sitting on the front porch watching the 15 minute rain showers and enjoying my hot cup of tea sweetened with the local raw honey kept on stock in the kitchen.

The locals could not have been more warm and friendly, even the local reptiles are calm and friendly. (See photo)
I had a flat tire during my stay and it was minutes before I had a smiling local offering to help me air my tire back up.

Having a fresh organic food truck steps away from the Bottle House was the greatest surprise. It's like having your own personal chef on call. I was so pleased to have delicious healthy food options near.

The scenery surrounding the Bottle House is nothing short of breathtaking. On my drive into West Texas from Austin I literally gasped at the sight of such beauty once I hit the West Texas mountainous landscape. I was in awe. The beautiful natural landscape is captivating and can be admired while driving into town and from your front porch. Alpine is a treasure.

It is a beautiful quick drive to Marfa from the Bottle House. I had planned on making day trips to Marfa several days of my stay but ended up enjoying relaxing and exploring Alpine so much that I had to extend my trip by a day to give myself a chance to see Marfa.

I couldn't get enough of how charming this BnB is. Liz has thought of absolutely everything one could
need to be made comfortable and feel completely at home. I can't wait to visit Alpine and The Bottle House again next time I'm in need of a peaceful retreat, full of natural beauty and friendly faces.

The Bottle House BnB is a spacious and beautifully appointed 3 bedroom (4 bed home), filled with art ...even the exterior wall has a great west texas mural and the 3 columns outside are being mosaiced with prickly pear and ocotillo desert plants. It's colorful, charming and most importantly, comfortable. The master bed is latex and organic cotton - possibly one of the most comfy I have ever slept on and the sheets are super soft. There is an organic food truck next door that is fun and delicious and you can park right outside your door and walk everywhere downtown because it's in such a great location. The 3 bed sister BnB is next door: The Alpine Studio, and it looks utterly charming also. Small town safe and friendly people - and dark star filled skies - my kind of place!

What a great little space. 3 beds and lots of light. Right down the street from the train and the town for a drink or dinner. Great place to check out.

I stayed here with my girlfriend when the Sibleys just started renting it out. It was a perfect place to stay while visiting Alpine, Big Bend, Marfa. The space had a great vibe and provided everything we needed to feel fresh. The Sibleys are absolutely wonderful--kind, artsy, and super knowledgeable about the area! Can't recommend it enough! Will hopefully be back soon!!!

A fabulous place! I've stayed at the studio twice, May 2013 and July 2014. The place is beautiful, and it manages to feel simultaneously spacious and cozy. The Sibleys are WONDERFUL, thoughtful hosts who are thoroughly plugged into the area and attentive to guests' needs. Awesome location--easy to walk to spots in town, and you'll feel out in the country as that street is so quiet and still, especially at night (plus the back yard is nice and big!).
Incidentally, I am *very* particular about design, and the place is incredibly well appointed, from paintings on the wall to some beautiful hand made, hand painted cups and saucers that are as much functional as they are objects d'art. The whole place feels elegant with dashes of artsy/playful, while maintaining an overall earthy, West Texas simplicity.
And if you're in the area to see Marfa, many friends and I that that Alpine feels like a legit West Texas town, while Marfa is feels culturally overrun by non-locals (finding native locals in Marfa requires a some rooting about). Alpine Studio gives you the artsiness of Marfa and the charm of non-infiltrated West Texas. And there are great hikes in Alpine!

Had a wonderful stay at the bottle house in mid September, thank you Sibleys! The house was spacious, clean, and most importantly super fun. An eclectic mix of local art surrounds you as you enjoy the space and it's close to lots of cool local restaurants, shops, galleries, and COW DOG! Alpine was great and all the people were warm and welcoming. Definitely check out Marfa and Big Bend NP when in town, and set some time aside to visit the McDonald Observatory, it's amazing! Will hope to return to the Bottle House soon :)

This place is super cute! Great for groups that want to hang out all night long. Very gracious hostess. The train is loud at night so wear the provided ear plugs. "Awesome and lovely" says the press. Insider tip: the bed to the left of the door is like a cloud.

Cozy 2 bedroom with a great location. Downtown Alpine is right at your doorstep and the fully stocked kitchen provides a familiar, homey experience. 5/5 would stay again.

Too many rules for that much money. Owner came in while we were sight seeing and turned off the ac and opened the curtains exposing our property. Extremely unprofessional then waiting for the rooms to cool for a customer with severe asthma. Not cool.

This is a great place to stay and explore the area.....Marfa, Marathon, Big Bend. Alpine is central to everything. The Bottle House is very comfortable and provided a fenced yard for my dog. Liz is great to work with, and is so knowledgeable about the area. I definitely recommend the Bottle House.
