I know it seems pointless to leave a review for a place that is closing but incase the owner finds a new location I hope they see this.
When I heard yesterday that teapop was closing I was planning to go in every day until it closed this weekend.

When entering teapop tonight it was the usual happy little crowd inside, I love the atmosphere there. As I was heading to the register the girl taking orders had an extremely annoyed and unhappy look on her face. But with the next customer she was extremely bubbly and friendly and I was like oh maybe that customer was just not the greatest.

After the person in front of me was done the girl at the register said, "see you at home!!" and then looked at me and the scowl was back. I smiled as she made almost no eye contact with me as she begrudgingly took my order (which ended up being wrong but I just wanted to get out of there so I didn't say anything).

You could say oh she's sad cause teapop is closing and I would make that argument too if it wasn't for how drastically her attitude changed between customers and it's easy to tell the difference between sad and annoyed.
I was planning on coming the next few days to get my tea fix until they close but I don't want to deal with her again and get another wrong order but we'll see.

Teapop you've been great and I hope you make a comeback and with that I hope there's some new hires cause tonight was not great.

An oasis in this heat. The Chaga Chaga with oat milk and boba was delicious though I'd probably go no sweetener next time. Incredibly kind and cool staff.

      Will def be back.

      So sad this place closed.
It was a hub for artists in North Hollywood and they had the best teas. They will be missed. :(

I'm sort of wary of bougie, hipster boba places like Boba Guys with their polished, curated branding and virtue signaling masking really questionable treatment of their own staff and customers. Nevertheless, they make a damn good Strawberry Matcha Latte and I've yet to find a place that makes something comparable.

That said... I don't know what TeaPop's deal is or if any employees or customers have started Instagram or Twitter threads about misdeeds, but I do know that they are my favorite boba place in all the land... of Southern California.

The boba is the perfect consistency and their Buck Roo and Peach Mango Green Tea drinks are absolutely delicious. This place is highly rated on Yelp and it is for very good reason.

Please, please don't get sucked into any scandals, TeaPop. I'd like to continue to be able to explore the rest of your menu!

I'd categorize this place as more of a Coffee shop than a Boba shop.

Stopped by a little after 2pm and got the Sweet Peach and the ice blended Mint Chocolate.

Mint Chocolate - so good, basically drinking melted ice cream.

Sweet Peach - very, very sweet, which was my fault for not asking for less sweet but peach syrup was very overpowering and artificial tasting. Couldn't taste any tea. Boba topping was passable.

I'd probably visit one more time and try another tea drink (they are named Teapop afterall) before deciding if I like this place enough to keep coming back.

Wanted to leave this review even though they've closed. This place is fantastic. Wonderful back patio and easy place to work. I love that it's dog friendly I've definitely worked here before with my pups. The drinks are delicious and the employees are super friendly. I hope they can reopen!!

Love this place, been coming here since i was in middle school. I recently graduated college so that kinda gives you a perspective of how long i've been swinging by lol. It's such a cute and chill tea shop with occasional events they hold. They have plenty of merch here too. Parking can be annoying since it's only street.

My favorite is the salted caramel milk tea with boba. It's soo yummy! I enjoy hanging out here either inside or outdoor since they have a little patio seating area. I find a lot of people study here or get some work done as it is a quiet and chill place. As i said, they do hold events here once in a while so i recommend following them on their instagram to keep up with activities and events. Join their rewards program too so you can get some boba off for certain purchases!

It's been awhile since I've been to Teapop and I stopped in to see the featuring artist of the month Kina. Her work was displayed on both walls, which will be on display till the end of the month. Now, I couldn't just come here and not get any tea so I opted for a hot chai tea with almond milk and my cousin grabbed an iced coffee since we did come in the morning and needed a little pick me up to get through the day. The hot chai was okay, didn't have the usual spice flavors I'm used too as it was a little bland. I usually get there milk tea from here with boba but I wanted to try something new, I'll stick to the milk tea. Service was great, got helped right away and our drinks were made relatively quick as it wasn't too busy in the shop. They have plenty of seating inside as well as an outside patio that I didn't go and visit for this trip. They also host artist fairs here as well as community events.
