Great food in restaurant that's attached in the store . Horchata is delicious too. Go to food is the steak burrito with everything and lots of green and red hot sauce. Walk in orders are quick if you want it to-go

Bright orange building, can't miss it! Walk in and turn right. You will notice the little restaurant in the corner. Order a burrito and be prepared to wait for a bit, but they make it fresh with very tasty ingredients. My steak burritos that I always ordered weighed at least 5 pounds. Some days, I couldn't even eat it all! Excellent atmosphere, excellent service, excellent food! I love this place!

The food is good and I always find something I didn't know I needed. The meat market in the back of the store is also a plus they always have what I'm looking for

I've been going here for years now! I always order from their meat products. Always fresh! The store also has a restaurant inside of it where they have very affordable & delicious tacos

One part grocery and one part restaurant is always a good sign for fresh food. I ordered the chicken burrito with everything on it. It tasted great and came with limes and cucumbers on the side. This is super filling! My coworker usually gets tacos and says they are delicious. I will have to come back to get some more things in the future.

In a part of town you'd likely not visit frequently, there sits a grocery store that you likely wouldn't go to unless someone brought you there or you lived in the area. Inside the store, sits a small restaurant that serves Mexican fare. Your usual Tacos, Burritos, Tortas etc. They have some unique protein options like tongue and intestine if you are into that sort of thing, but also the normal beef, pork, chicken etc.
My buddy recommended the Carne Asada Burrito and so I followed suit. I gotta say...it was pretty tasty! it is quite the burrito, weighing in around 1 pound and had lettuce, tomato, rice, beans and sour cream inside as well as the Carne Asada. He also ordered the Horchata which they make fresh every couple of days. It was very good!
I'm not sure I'd come here daily...but this was really good and a fun trip if you are ever in the mood for a Burrito or a taco .Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Apr 17, 2017
It's not that often that someone says "do you want to try ...." and I haven't already been there, especially in Indianapolis. So imagine my surprise this weekend when a friend said "I know a place with amazing tacos called Guanajuato" and I realized I hadn't been there.
I have to admit, walking in I was a little nervous about what I was going to find, but also excited because some of my favorite restaurant I've been to have been little hole-in-the-wall kind of places. Judging from the line of people waiting to place their order, I've clearly been missing out.
Not a lot of fancy-schmancy things here. Paper menu taped to the counter or the wall. Basics available.. tacos, burritos and a lot of stuff I couldn't pronounce. No clue what drinks they had because I didn't see any logos so I went with water instead.
My meal: three tacos. Carnitas, Chicken and Steak. All placed together with love in a paper tub, double wrapped the shell, piled high with cilantro and onion lickity split. As others have mentioned, this place is pretty small and it was kind of warm in there. No freebie chips and salsa like their sister store on the west side, but after unhinging my jaw to get the taco inside my mouth, I don't think I could really have done chips and salsa. No, that's a lie... there's always room for chips and salsa.
Looking forward to checking out the west side location, but quite happy to end up here again too. Oh yeah.. best part. 2 people, 6 tacos, under $20.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Jocelyn P.Indianapolis, IN11320Jun 24, 2022
Typical Mexican grocery store with fresh meats, fresh veggies and stocked up in everything you may need in a Mexican or Spanish household that you cannot find at the local grocery store. If you come, bring someone who can speak Spanish because most everyone here only speaks Spanish. They have decent restaurant attached to it with a limited menu but great for a quick option. They sell carnitas and barbacoa on the weekends also!
