THE BEST MULITAS IN LA.
Fresh homemade tortillas, flavorful meat, and whatever meat is in that pot has me weak at the knees. I've been here 2x each day, the last 4 days.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 22, 2019
This street taco stand popped up in my neighborhood not too long ago. Don't be fooled by appearances the tacos are cheap (about $1) and SO delicious! We tried a few tacos carved right from the trompo and some carne asada. Wonderfully tasty and satisfying! We also got VERY good rice and beans and they were perfect. Savory fluffy rice and well seasoned still intact beans. PERFECT. Spicy habañero and Serrano chiles mixed with sliced onion was my favorite topping. There are great salsas and of course onions and cilantro for topping.
Our only regret was that we didn't order more. Way to go! We will be back tomorrow night!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Simon B.Los Angeles, CA511Nov 18, 2022
One fine day these gentlemen will return to grill meats for the good people of Silverlake, and we will rejoice and grow fat and content with our lives. Until that day, dark shadow will loom over a great city. The best Pastor this side of Jupiter.

Tacos stands are a dime a dozen in LA. This place just opened up and Los Felizians (I made that word up for all of us that live in Los Feliz), are already lining up for their delicious $1.50 tacos and super huge burritos.
I personally liked their carne asada a bit more than their al pastor. Both were good and these guys had some sweet pina to go with their al pastor. Judging by their meat pot, they have tripa, cabeza and other different types of meats. They also have quesadilla.
Cash only, 2 person show. I asked the lady and she said they're only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Located on the corner of Hyperion and Rowena, park in the 7-11 parking lot, you can't miss it. I live up the street and I'll be walking down for these homemade tacos again!
Full salsa bar, no drinks, just walk over to 7-11 for your drinks. They current don't have a menu but they pretty much have all your usual taco stand menu items.

There are some slight inconsistencies with this stand. Sometimes they are open Wed - Sun but most of the time they are open Fri - Sun. Another thing is the time that they open. Is it 7:30? 7:45? 8? The answer is they open when they are ready.
Anyways, this is the best Al Pastor in LA. I love it! It is absolutely wonderful. There can be a slow moving line but there are multiple people working it now. Carne asada is better towards the end of the night if that's your thing. If you get there early, it hasn't marinaded enough.
I'll get the moletas, burritos and tacos. Every so often they have this potato thing too where they melt cheese and your choice of meat on it. It comes some tortillas as well so you can make your own tacos at home. It's really good as well.
It is dangerous for your sweet summer bod, especially if you are always near them when they open.
Also, they are normally pretty busy until 10:30 and then the line calms down. There is still normally like 1 or 2 people but late night, they may run out of the Al Pastor.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Craig Y.Los Angeles, CA3302217Jul 21, 2019
I live a block away and it was my second time trying this fairly new taco stand out. The first time I was quite inebriated so I don't really remember how the tacos were. Probably bomb since everything is delicious after a night of drinking. This time, however, I was completely sober. Did they drop the entire salt shaker into the carne asada?! The meat was extremely over salted to the point where I couldn't even touch the second asada taco. And I usually don't even mind my food on the salty side. Luckily, the el pastor taco with pineapple was really good and the grilled tortilla had a nice little crisp on the edges just the way I like it. Mulita was average. They have a nice assortment of the usual toppings/salsas.
The next time I try this place on my way home, I'll probably make sure the meat isn't over salted with a taste test prior.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Damn good tacos. (Hot salsa, yeah, you'll feel it.)
Pick a taco meat, it's all good. Parking is good. I buy my drinks at 7-11 and take my tacos and burritos home.
