New China King

The food is pretty affordable for students at KU, it is cooked by the authentic Chinese people, therefore, the taste is pretty much similar to what you can find in Asian countries. There is downside is that the sauce can be a little bit too salty for those who don't like saucy dishes. The space in the restaurant is quite small, only 4-5 tables so if you should preferably take out instead of eating there. The speed of serving is kinda fast so you don't have to wait for too long for your food. Each order will have one Lucky Cookie with it. Overall, for those who live in Kutztown and nearby area, this is a good choice.

NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!!

I walked into this place the other week after a friend had recommended it to me and I was astonished at what I saw when I entered. There were at least 15 people behind the counter running around, I was waiting for my food for at least 20 minutes yet I was one of the only customers in there.

I ordered my food 2 hours ago and the estimated time of arrival was 20 minutes. After a hour I called to see where my order was and they said the manager would call back and never did. I never got my food.

The roast pork fu young was tasteless. The tiny dots of pork were too small to add flavor.The texture was like an old sponge. I could not eat it. The plain white rice was ok.

In Kutztown overnight and we've been driving all day. Upon checking into our hotel, we asked to he front desk for delivery suggestions and they suggested China King and a new pizza place. We ordered General Tsos and egg rolls and was quoted 40 minutes for delivery. We received our food about 45 minutes later, food was hot and was pretty good.

I just want to write an update, that still after these years the quality has remained consistent, and perhaps even gotten better. Owners are super friendly and its a family run business.
My favorites having ordered many different things are the hot and sour soup, kung-pao chicken, and chicken skewers.

My friend and I ordered delivery and waited over one hour to receive below-average Chinese food (NOT good), they forgot some of the order and only included one fortune cookie. It was probably the worst Chinese food I've ever had and it is a shame because we were really craving Chinese... I would not go back. Don't waste your money there

This is an example of something you would find in a city. Great food done quickly and cheap. I make a note to order from here every time. The staff are very friendly people.

Never again, no way, no how. I don't know how they get past inspections. Honestly you would be better off eating off of a trash can lid. Appalling. This place could quite possibly hurt or kill someone it's so dirty.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food I've ever had! Every piece of food was soggy and had a mushy texture. Threw everything away after the first few disgusting bites.
