SVS Vision Optical Centers

Very disappointed with the overall service. They made 3 sets of lenses and none of them were right. I ended up just asking for my money back.

I purchased sunglasses and the lenses came back very warped the first time. I knew instantly that they were not correct. I was told to wear them for a week to make sure. I brought them back and they replaced them.

The second lenses came, and they had a chip in them.

The third pair came and they did not fit into the frames. So I asked to get my money back. I should have asked to keep the 2nd pair of lenses with the chip, at least I could have used them.

This was my first time at SVS in Fraser. The doctor and staff were amazing!

They are always very nice and eager to help find the right fit of glasses. They were also able to accommodate me when I needed to move my appointment up due to unforseen circumstances. Dr. Roose has always been professional and courteous. Would highly recommend!!

Made a couple trips prior to ordering glasses and customer service was always great! My order was ready in no time! However, I don't know what's going on with their store hours. Attempted pick up last Saturday only to find a sign on the door stating there were closed for the day despite the hours posted on the internet. Tried again the following Wednesday which was literally the only day I could get there before closing and they were closed again! I had to email corporate just to be certain they'd be open because I had to take time off work. I received a prompt response saying that they were open the following day which was also contrary to hours posted online so it was a bit of a headache on the facility management end.

I've been going to SVS vision since I was a kid. I've always had a great experience with the Fraser, MI location. Good selection, treated well, they take VSP insurance.

Worst place to purchase eyewear! The staff does not appear to be trained well, and don't care that the customer service is terrible. The optometrist was fine, but he couldn't even explain why the first pair of glasses I received were wrong. I had to have the glasses remade. The wait took forever.
Now my glasses are just three years old, the protective coating on the lens is peeling off. The lens is useless. They didn't seem to care, and didn't say "bring them in so we can take a look". Instead they just repeated that the warranty expired. The lens quality is questionable.
Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

Had some good frame selections, for men at least. My boyfriend looks handsome in his new glasses! The staff were polite, and the woman that helped us out was nice and very honest in her opinions when he was trying on frames, and we appreciated the input. It also only took them 2-3 days to get them in, and the eye exam was short and painless, but accurate!
