Super Hair Braiding

Mamou is a true angel! She has been doing my hair over a year now and my hair is the healthiest it's ever been because she takes care of my protective hair styles EVERY MONTH! She is fast,efficient,and makes me look like a queen every visit!
I come just for her ,she is my Angel and she has a forever client!

My mom has been going to this location for more than 11 years. Every style is 4 hours tops. Her main stylist is Ida. However, her backup that she would refer friends and family to is Rosie.
My mom is legally blind and they have met her at the curb and taken her into the salon on several occasions from the car. I would recommend their services! Great prices and fast services. They also provide the hair!

I've tried numerous times with this establishment and they are hit or miss which is not ideal when I'm paying $200+ for a hairstyle. They make appointments and don't honor them. They should just say that they do walk ins only. Some stylist are better than others. I unfortunately had the displeasure of being assigned to one of the less skilled stylist. I went in asking for spring twist on 5/22/23. I was told that my hair was too long and that bomb twist would be better. I agreed as the styles are similar. It took her about 4 hrs to complete the style which is standard. I wasn't in love with the look but it will suffice... or so I thought. Exactly one week after install, braids/twists started slipping out. I had to go back to have her redo some of the braids. Unacceptable, especially when I paid $220. It has now been three weeks and not only have some braids/twists slipped again but it looks like I've had the style in for months! I never have issues with braids lasting at least 6-8 weeks. At this rate, I'd be happy if I can make it to 5 weeks. I've given them a number of chances at this rate. Braids are too costly for the lack of expertise this place provides. I do not recommend!!!

Horrible experience. This is unprofessional braiding. I asked for knotless boho braids. I showed several pictures to the stylist and got this!!! I informed the stylist that how she was braiding was not what I asked for. The stylist in turn started yelling and fussing. She first told me that she only had to do a couple of the braids over. Then it went to complain and threaten with 'I'll take it out then', I said yes, take it out. That started another unprofessional experience. She started yanking my head and ended up cutting my natural hair as she started to take the braids out. Long story short...... Look closely, there is a knot, the size of the parts are all different sizes, the braids are extremely small in relation to the parts. My recommendation is to STAY AWAY.

Booked a appointment at 11...She had me wait for 20 minutes just to tell me that she wouldn't be able to do my hair until 12:30 and that I should wait in my car or walk around the mall until then...She calls me again around 12 and tells me that she is ready to do my hair...Only to have me wait again for 10 or so minutes while some kind of confusion happens around me...I just get up and leave finally.A woman chases me out the door and says "excuse me she is almost ready to work on your hair!" It's been over a HOUR AND TEN MINUTES since my appointment was suppose to start.Extremely unprofessional and they don't care about the clients time which means they don't care about money or staying in buisness.They just watched money walk right out of the door.

I would recommend this salon. Nice, neat and quick for simple individual knotless styles.

I've been coming here for years anytime I needed braids. Tipped the braiders $10-$30 on top of the high braid price. Never addressed issues, even when the job wasn't always perfect. My twist style this time was not what i asked for and they told me $180. I was shocked and said I wouldn't pay that and privately had a discussion with the receptionist and the braider about the issue. Instead of showing some kind of customer loyalty, i was treated terribly. I was told that they would rather lose their whole day they dropping the price. Said I should never tell them what is fair and they set the prices.

I couldn't believe that all the extra money I gave them through the years and the prices I paid whether it was neat braids or not that is the way they would speak to me. No problem, let someone else be your fool because never again will I come to this place.

The Lacy braiding hair style received from the two Super Hair Braiding stylists look ridiculous. There is more than 1 inch of space between each braid. Also, uneven braid lengths that is very noticeable. Can't believe I gave the two stylists a $20 tip each. Because there are numerous hair braiding businesses​ to patriotize in this area; it would behoove you to spend your​ money elsewhere. Can't attach pictures... Dang it!

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS!!!!! I went in to get my hair braided, and had a consultation with the owner and the braider Asi. I explained to her that the last shop I went to braided my hair too tight, and that I didn't care if the the braids were loose. What I care about is that care of my hair. During the service I explain to the braider repeatedly that she was braiding too tight. After I got home I called the owner and explained to her the situation, she started that she couldn't do anything about it, and that I needed to call the braider because she's a contract worker. I explained to the owner that this had nothing to do with me she works in her shop and she should be addressing the issue. I then called the braider and explained the situation to her, and asked if I could come back in and have her take the braids out and loosen them. She stated that she could take them out but refuse to redo them. When I began to ask her why not she hung up the phone on me. I called her back and asked her why she hung up the phone, and then stated to her that this was very unprofessional. Especially considering that I gave her a $20 tip. I work in the service industry and have 250 people that work under me. I believe in service, and when a paying customer comes to me and state they are not satisfied, I will do everything in my power to bring resolution to that client. The owner called me back and asked me to come back, so that they can take the hair out. However, when I asked if I could have my hair rebraided by someone else that wouldn't braid so right there was a refusal. Her response was Asi was the only braider that doesn't braid tight, this in itself is a concern. Then I asked if I could get my money back and she stated no. So, I told her to keep it and that I was going to write a review. She then stated that she was going to post a picture of my hair style, which was disturbing to me because I guess I was being photographed without my permission. Furthermore, I don't understand what does a picture have to do with level of pain a person feels after a service. I took the time to write this review because I am a consumer who works hard for their earnings. And when you patronize an establishment and you get bad customer service you want to make others aware. I cannot stop people from patronizing this business, but I can certainly warn them. Date of service: 6/8/21.

Eh......against my better judgement and because its super convenient to my house, I went back yesterday for passion twists. Cati appears to be a very sweet older lady, however she kept asking me to move down in the chair even though I kept telling her that it was uncomfortable. I am tall and she is short so I guess together we didn't mesh. She kept stopping to go outside and now I see where a few of my twists haven't been twisted completely. I also didn't like that mid braid she asked "how much did she charge you'? I am assuming she wanted to make sure doing my hair was worth the money. Unless I get the lady who sits in the front to your left when you first come in, I will never return to this braiding place
