Reception was friendly. Motel is dated, bit small, but clean and ok for an overnight stay. Pet friendly but you pay extra 10. Not much else to say

One of the better super 8's I've stayed at!
Next in line to South Dakota's super 8, this one is pretty standard until u get to the breakfast! I was very impressed by the cute decor, condiments displayed in quaint little wicker baskets and extra things like biscuits n' gravy and mini single serve Nutella packages!
The room was very clean, nice & tidy display of towels and all that. My husband really enjoyed the nice vizio tv mounted on the wall directly in front of the bed.
All the lamps had built in usb & plug-in outlets, very convenient!
I really enjoyed this super 8!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - D. W.Salt Lake City, UT82818092Oct 29, 2015
So, we have a few positives here. Very easy access, including to a place with a growler station and a toy store (seriously). Also a Mexican joint next door. Parking is also easy and you can get to a traffic light out of the gate when leaving in a couple different directions. All good stuff there. King size bed was gigantic and clean. I dug that. Fridge and microwave were nice, even if microwave was unnecessary. Probably wouldn't consider this or any other Super 8 for an extended stay. Biscuits and gravy was a good idea, even if biscuits were stale and gravy wasn't anything too impressive. I bet it would have worked better on a waffle and would have tried it if some stooge wasn't hogging the machine. I gots no time to wait for anything like that, though. On the reals. Staff was also overall great.
Where it fell off the rails a bit was their confusing and unnecessary numbering structure, complete with about zero signage to point anyone along the way. Travelers forget shit, hotel places. We need the damn signs so we can remember which way the stupid room is and number a floor part with 200-series numbers and part with 500-series numbers do not help, troop. Not at all. The desk and chairs were nice, but the height was way off, which made working kind of a (literal) pain and I didn't especially need the extra couch. Whatevs on that, but the table and chair thing was annoying...as was...drumroll...the sink OUTSIDE of the bathroom (read my other reviews for more thoughts on this arrangement). Also, no bathroom fan, toilet had to be double-flushed for each and every and any use and if you funkify your toilets in that manner, 3 is the best you get.
Anyway, I liked it more than I didn't, so I would stay here again, but not for more than 1 night.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Christina W.Fairfield, CA371Aug 11, 2017Updated review
Pro-
-pet friendly. I didn't have a pet with me but love that they allow pets.
-free breakfast has biscuits and gravy and more (being from California I'm not used to that, it was good)
-has fridge, air conditioning, free wifi
-A good one or 2 night stay if you need a convenient place to sleep.
-the king bed is an actual king, not a queen, which was great because other hotels will say king but will have a queen, or say queen but it turns out we have a full size bed.
Con- Front desk brunette lady was rude. I would give 3 or 4 stars if the brunette lady at the front desk wasn't rude to my husband.
He made reservations online so it would go faster, and she repeatedly told him she didn't think he made them. Luckily he gave his confirmation number that he took a screen shot of and she then found him grudgingly saying "I must have not seen it"...
Then, when looking for our room, we couldn't find it on the second floor (if your number starts with a 5, there is no 5th floor, it's on the second) it was kind of hard for us to find so we went to go ask the lady. The First Lady got as far as telling us that there is no 5th floor (we knew that already) which is when the brunette lady rudely interrupted saying "As I told you before, it's on the second floor and walk down and to the right...." and she said more but I didn't hear the rest. She didn't say how to get there before. The most that she previously said was that our room was on the 2nd floor, that's it, but she still didn't have to have a rude tone.
Later, my husband called the front desk and asked for the WiFi password. She literally told him the password and hung up, I was right next to him and heard it!
I don't know if the lady was having a rough day or what, but we don't plan to stay there ever again unless we absolutely have no choice to.
The rest of the staff seemed fine, I'm bummed that we got the lady who was rude instead of the other people there. If you are not like me and can deal with a rude staff member and need a convenient cheaper stay for a day or two, it will be fine.
Update- We stayed at the Best Western Plus on our way back and even though we paid more, it was a MUCH better stay and so worth it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 27, 2017Previous reviewPro-

-No elevator or bell hopper thing to help get stuff to your room, which is fine I know it's a super 8 but wanted to mention it because you take two sets of stairs for the second floor, not just one..with a lot of stuff it's kind of a bummer.

I have to go back to twin falls again on my way back to California from North Dakota and wouldn't recommend it. There are many other hotel choices, we just happened to go with the cheapest and convenient option that we saw. We plan to stay somewhere else in Twin Falls next time we are there. - Mike J.Placerville, CA5845285Aug 25, 2012
I agree with this sentiment - "above average as cheap hotels go".
Stayed here one night on the top floor. Room was ok, not perfect - the carpets could have been cleaned and they could have done a better job vacuuming - but overall it was good value for the $$. Parking is great - and if you have a larger vehicle or are towing a trailer there is plenty of room in back. The hotel is located on a street with just about every fast food and chain restaurant you could think of! I did not partake of the breakfast - so can't comment on that. In summary - this place is above average as far as cheap hotels go!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brian M.Everett, WA52261Nov 22, 2015
A perfectly fine place to stay for those looking for a quick or overnight stop. The rooms and outside of the rooms were very clean, overall for a seemingly older building, it was quiet and up to date. Nice televisions in the rooms and lobbies and the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms are a little small and the showers are not for tall people, so be prepared to squat for the hot water if you are over 6'0. They also do not have an elevator, so if you are unable to climb three flights of stairs, make other plans.
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BREAKFAST. I have seen a ton of reviews that are complaining about the breakfast not being up to standards. Super 8 offers a CONTINENTAL breakfast, this does not guarantee hot items like eggs, waffles and meats regardless of what you have received at other Super 8 motels. Some offer more than others, but it is up to their discretion as to what they provide. By hotel industry standards, this Super 8 exceeded continental breakfast "requirements" by offering the fresh waffle maker (which made delicious waffles).
There is also plenty of restaurant options in the area, but most importantly there is a delicious Mexican place directly next door that has a bar that stays open late. I've stayed at this hotel three times within the past month and I have chosen to eat at that Mexican restaurant each time for dinner, it has yet to disappoint.
Some other quick notes about this hotel.
-very friendly and accommodating staff
- easy access for travelers
- plenty of close parking
- completely non smokingHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David L.Irving, TX342Nov 21, 2015
One of the worst Super 8 motels ive stayed in.The rooms are small and out dated. The yelp review said they had smoking rooms but when i arrived the desk clerk said she has been here for 2 years and there has been no smoking, must be because the cry baby on one of the reviews whinning about the smoking. If you dont like smoking dont go to a hotel that has smoking. Also there is no elevator and the place is noisy everytime someone walks down the hall it sounds like they are walking in your room this place wouldnt even pass as a

This was the third Super 8 we stayed at on our trip and I wish we could say it was a good experience, but it wasn't really. The staff, most of whom we encountered tried to be nice, but the smoking thing really made it a very unpleasant stay.
Pluses:
- Good price - with the AAA discount, it turned out to be $77 + tax for 2 queens, non-smoking
- Room was relatively clean
- Bigger than the room in Bozeman but not as big as Columbia Falls
- Plenty of Parking
- Split level, meaning you didn't have to walk the stairs to the full level, and this helped with all the luggage we had.
- Had enough towels for 4 people.
- Nice flat screen TV
- Front desk staff friendly
- Free Wifi
Minuses:
- Again, the non-smoking thing was a huge issue. People smoking everywhere and at the entrances of the motel, as well as in the hallway of a non-smoking floor. I told them this, and they sprayed Fabreeze in the hallway, which further gagged me, as I'm allergic to that, too.
- Didn't sleep well.
- Got extra towels to stuff at the bottom of the door after I went the towels to keep smoke from entering the door.
- Big gap beneath the door.
- Breakfast ended by 9 am, which was too early for us so we had to buy elsewhere
- No discounts on the smoking issue.
- Not all of staff friendly.
- Motel surrounded in smoke - they shouldn't allow people to smoke within 25 feet of the place, cigarette butts everywhereHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cary L.San Ramon, CA314272Sep 10, 2010First to Review
The place is very presentable on the outside. The room was clean, and good sized. Motel was in a very good location with restaurant and stores near by. Front desk was very friendly.
Price vs quality was a great value, (hence the 4 stars)
Breakfast was very simple, toast, bagel and juice.
Free wireless. TV in room.
Will return!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - YOKi T.Glenn Dale, MD476824Sep 2, 2011
above average as cheap hotels go.^^;
LAYOUT
i got a single queen bed - firm, but comfy. my room was clean, well lit, and everything worked well (tv/ac/hot showers). the only CON in my book is lack of fridge.
SERVICE
friendly and professional. some other people may be taken back by the piercings and dress of the receptionists (day/night) (no uniform), but it didn't detract from them helping me with whatever i needed.
PRICE
$56 with my government discount... very fair as i am happy with my room.^^ DON'T use priceline/orbitz etc. call them up directly as the rates are cheaper from what i found off these "specialized" traveler's websites.
CLOSING
i'd come here again. they are SMACK near a lot of good places to eat and general need stores.
i still want a fridge to cool my drinks tho.!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
