Stratford Danville is such a great school and we absoluteLy love it!

The teachers are warm, patient, very considerate and very much detail-oriented. It has been a very good experience for us, and as parents sending our daughter to school in person for her first time especially during this pandemic, it is needless to say how worry we are but the teachers and staff are handling pretty much every thing/procedure very well and ease our concerns. Ms. Rani, our daughter's teacher is one of the best teachers we ever encountered. She teaches her class wholeheartedly and our daugther feels very comfortable with her; and even for us parents, learned quite a lot about how to handle children's emotion, their social behavior in school with other students, and many other tips during the teacher parent conference. Not to also mention that we also were being kept up to date, real time, about how our child doing in school.

In terms of academic, with Ms. Rani's help our daughter is already learning math and vocabulary that is equivalent to 2+ years advance if with public school system; and she also helps to communicate to other parents about students' behavior at school and making sure the students learn how to make the right decision.

In addition, the school often has family friendly activities that promotes bonding with your child/children. We really appreciate the school and the teachers and staffs.

Our daughter goes to Stratford School in Danville. This is her comment:
I love Ms. Yar. She is the best. She helps me to learn things that I don't know before, like A.D. and also science. For science, the weather is my favorite part. Ms. Yar loves me and I like her doing that. I can feel her love every moment in my heart! She is the best teacher in my entire life!!!!!!

      Mother's comment:
We are so thankful our daughter has met Ms.Yar and all the teachers in Stratford. They made learning so much fun. I enjoyed so much listening to their school life ~ how they worked on experiments together and how they argued of course. From the notes she wrote to teachers and her friends, I can see how much she loves them. That tells how much love she had received. She got so much courage and empathy from teachers that I can see how she can grow and thrive. Here's a sharing from my daughter when she's upset ~ "storms are terrible, but it will end, then you'll see the world a little differently." She said it's from Ms. Yar. SHOUT-OUT to Ms. Yar!!!

My son has been attending Stratford School Danville campus since he was three and this year he will be graduating to attend Kindergarten. I'm glad that we made the choice as I can see how much he grows, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Blackhawk campus is likely the smallest campus (and founding campus) in the Stratford school chain, but to me it has everything a good school needed. I especially like it that they have a core teacher plus specialty teachers. This beats a lot of preschools. They have strong STEAM curriculum and there are lots of class projects with all sort of fun instructional materials. PE is probably not as strong on this campus, they do have a nice playground that kids go to everyday though.

My son's current core teacher is Ms. Kali and she is super. I like hearing her calling the kids "my friend", which is a reflection of her treating the kids with care and respect. She is patient and knowledgeable. Things are very organized in Ms. Kali's class. My son likes her a lot! Other teachers and staff are all very nice and easy to work with. They cover each other on leaves so kids are still taken care of. COVID has interrupted a lot of things and this campus has been impacted as well. However, with all the careful protection guidelines, impact seems to have been minimized.

My 6.5 year old is currently at Kindergarten at Stratford Blackhawk campus and we couldn't be more happier. She has been thriving. We absolutely love the quaint campus, playground, teachers and the management. My kid loves Ms Rani, her class teacher and she always speaks highly of her. She loves how she explains her a lot of new things in ways kids can understand clearly. I love how Ms Rani greets the parents with a smile everyday and how approachable she is with any kind of issues or concerns we might have. My daughter is going to miss being taught by her after this for sure. She already does as there are only few more weeks for the end of this academic year.

Ms Yar (my kid's summer camp teacher), Ms Vicky (the school principal), Ms Kim (school administrator) are all such nice and friendly people, I am going to miss them very very much. I really hoped they could continue in this campus and was hoping to send my younger one too starting next year. It is rare these days to see an entire school having such thoughtful teachers and staff and I wish them the best and I am sure they are going to make a difference in wherever they choose to go next.

Thank you Stratford Blackhawk campus! We are going to miss you so much :(

We absolutely adore Stratford and ALL the teachers and front office staff. They are not only warm and welcoming to all, but they academically challenge my very confident 3 year old. She has progressed quickly while at Stratford and we are confident that she will be more than ready to enter kinder in the coming year. We worried about how she would fair being that she lived her early toddler years at home through a pandemic. That worry quickly faded as we received regular updates, notes, quotes, videos and more sharing her daily activities. Huge thank you to the Stratford community for creating an environment that promotes cultural diversity, empathy and so much. Huge thank you to Ms. Siri for introducing us to Stratford through her eyes and being a trustworthy, calm and loving teacher to our little one.

Our daughter goes to Stratford on the Danville Blackhawk campus for her Pre-K and it has been the best decision so far.

Ms. Kali is her teacher and our daughter likes her very much.  She loves learning new things every day. On the weekend she usually tells us she can't wait for Monday to come so she can go to school.

Ms. Kali also keeps us well informed about our daughter's performance at school and we have great communication to keep her improved in every aspect.

Also shout-out to her Spanish teacher, Ms. Carmen, the school's director and science teacher Ms. Vicky, and office administrator Ms. Kim for creating a warm and caring environment for the kids, as well as their enthusiasm and professionalism.

We feel lucky and happy to have our daughter in Stratford.

      Updated review

Pending an updated review from last year for how the management discriminated us and treated us as if it was our fault that they wanted to take our money and short-stick us.
Location is definitely in shambles with easy entry and exit to anyone anytime there is no one to monitor and the pretend keypad is only for parents who are dropping and picking kids anyone or everyone has access to every corner goa the church and kitchen and side side door which open always.
My previous review was for the teacher and how well adapted she had my child and it still holds water. But as for the management and location I'd say there is green greener grass out there who can value you.

My daughter is enrolled in preschool and it has been a wonderful experience for her. She adores her teacher Ms. Siri and looks forward to going to school and learning. I have seen improvement in her both academically and personality. Thanks to Miss Siri for her patience and for explaining the concepts in a fun way that is easier for kids to understand.
Also, the management Miss Kim and Miss Vicky are helpful and very caring .

Our daughter is currently in Pre-K at this school and we've had a lovely experience in terms of her learning and growth. Her teacher Ms.Kali has been phenomenal in introducing her to various concepts through a playful manner which helped a lot in her learning. Ms. Kali is a very mindful teacher who keeps a close eye on all her students and sends their progress to parents in 1:1 interaction. She's also open to feedback and takes them in her stride to better her interactions with the kids. We're delighted to have her as our daughter's teacher. Other than Ms. Kali, we also got lucky with Ms. Carmen as the Spanish teacher and Ms. Vicky as the science teacher. All in all, a beautiful experience !! Highly recommend !!

I love the Stratford Blackhawk campus. Two of my kids did the preschool/preK program here. I love the small class sizes, the wonderful staff and the program. My daughter is currently in the PS program. Miss Renu is an excellent teacher. We have noticed a huge improvement in our daughter's vocabulary, written skills and social skills. Miss Renu is a very caring and our daughter loves being in her class. Miss Renu and Stratford does an excellent job of keeping our kids safe through Covid.
