Starstruck Academy Of Dance

My daughter has been dancing at this studio for 7 years currently and my other daughter danced there for 9 years before she went onto other activities. I absolutely love this dance studio. The staff is very encouraging and you can tell they love what they do. Both my daughter's danced on company and I was amazed at how they evolved as dancers. They both started at a very young age and they grew into beautiful dancers. But even more important is this studio encourages being a good person. The staff spends so much time with your children and they not only teach dance but they teach you're children on how to be a better person. They treat people with respect and I have always felt like this studio was a second home for my girls.

Love this studio! My daughter has nothing but positive experiences and when there has been any type of issue the studio has more than ensured we were taken care of! I highly recommend Starstruck to anyone looking for High school Poms enhancement!

I have two daughters at this studio and because Starstruck offers so many great options both of my daughters have unique opportunities! We could not be happier at this studio! The teachers are fantastic and try to grow and develop each child! Every week the teachers try to give each encouragement to motivate and keep my girls loving dance.

My son and daughter go here. One of the best and the owner Lisa cares about each of her "kids". Recently my son graduates and she came to his senior presentation. I have heard she does that for all of her students. That is someone that cares not just for the business success but also for the kids. Highly recommend.

I would go somewhere else. Here's the fact: My experience was different than others. I set an appointment x2 or 3 for a specific highly recommended instructor and or Lisa the owner. What you get is anyone that can teach at the time is suddenly pushed into teaching your kid. What's interesting is that I would not have discovered this had I not asked to check on my child. BE CAREFUL and get what you pay for. The glitter doesn't replace true honest virtue. Thank you and good luck to ALL.

Yes I am a fan of this studio. The owner Lisa is pretty amazing and really seems to care a lot for the kids. She mentioned that she has done it for 32 years so she is obviously doing something right. This was our first year and my daughter was in the annual recital yesterday. I am very impressed with the older dancers, they were incredible and I am excited to have my daughter at such a great studio. The "3" rating is simply because I was disappointed with her assigned dance teacher Mrs AJ and the dance that she choreographed for my daughter's class. I thought the dance was poorly done with very low skill level, it was elementary in nature because they were doing things like "patty-cake" there wasn't a lot of skill demonstrated and in addition it wasn't very "clean", the children didn't look like they knew the dance at all. I wanted to sign my daughter up for the Company but noticed that AJ is the teacher for the girls so I am struggling with it. I just read another review on Google about AJ and it seems strange to me that she is still there after that poor review. It's unfortunate that she is a teacher there. I asked one of the mothers that has gone to the studio for a while as to why she felt AJ was still teaching. She indicated to me that it was most likely because her 3 or 4 girls also danced there so there was no way that AJ would ever be asked to leave. I guess the girls get special treatment as well. It's unfortunate because I really do like the studio. I will have to make a decision as to whether or not we will continue at Starstruck because I do want my daughter to be on the Company Competition Team. Luckily, we don't have AJ at all next year in the classes that she registered for but, I am just hoping that AJ will soon leave the studio so we can think about doing the Company. Other than that, it's a pretty amazing place.
