I'm just going to say this straight. This Starbucks sucks. I ordered a vanilla latte with heavy cream and all I got was the heavy cream. Really? How can you mess that up. SMH.

Walking in the Financial district makes you wonder, where did all of the people go? It also makes you think, if a car pulls up abruptly, you better be ready to haul arse. It was kinda creepy as we made our way to Starbucks (just directly across the street from Transamerica. Although walking around at 10:00 a.m. decreases the probability of getting stuck up, you can never be too careful.

Finally ducking into this Starbucks location, you'll notice plywood on the front door. A bit disconcerting but the friendly employees were disarming. Reassuring in a way, they asked me how I was and where I came from. I like that, people talking to me, human being to human being. These employees were extra friendly.

The caramel macchiato, hot, venti was superb and we couldn't stick around too long because I needed to get my 10,000 steps. They say that Transamerica is being remodeled and are hoping for more foot traffic. But with everyone working from home and owning espresso makers, I don't know if we'll see that any time soon. Hope they are able to stay open and fix that front door. They were also fully stocked with wonderful pastries and baked goods.

I ordered a venti hazelnut oatmilk shaken espresso and it was literally 1/4 foam and 1/4 ice.. and even the foam didn't reach the top. Lame.

This is how i got my shaken espresso.. smh. All foam and not even all the way to the top.

So this is a solid Starbucks with good service and location. There is a catch!!!!!!

For past 3 years, I have been trying to get a cup of tea with little ice. ( that's two tea bags submerged in hot water, and some ice on top; that's it). I don't know how my communication is getting lost or transcribed but I have been receiving one of those refreshment tea which is a mix of lemonade with tea and other flavors with ice :))))))) for years! While in a Starbucks which is literally next block down, all baristas understand what I want! ;))))))

It's an outgoing struggle that I believe We will overcome! Life is simple.

My relatives and I love Starbucks. They have great iced coffee as well as delicious ice cream shakes and everything is great. We love to come here to listen to their music and have a good time.

I am reviewing this for the amazing staff. I was here yesterday (Sunday) around 2pm and this little Starbucks had a massive amount of people inside. I have never seen a coffee shop that busy before. They had so many orders but all worked together and got people drinks in a reasonable amount of time. My drink was ready so much faster than I expected.
I was really impressed. And they were all smiling and had a great attitude. I would have been really stressed out in their shoes but they were great.

Cute little shop across the street from Le Meridien hotel.

Worst Starbucks I've been to, not only in the US, but anywhere I've been across the globe. Idk why I keep going back, I should just walk an extra 2 blocks. Takes 30 mins to make a mobile order, and then you have to stand around for 10 mins for anyone to acknowledge you before you can ask for your drink that's sitting behind some plexiglass.

Okay the controversy has not kept me away. This location has an iconic scenic view of the TransAmerican building.
The inside is cozy and the service I received was good.
      I did use the bathroom.

Have been going to this Starbucks for over five years. The service hadn't been the greatest in the past, but my last two visits here were impressive. Greeted when I walked in, quick service, and everyone had red aprons on today and the holiday cups were so pretty. Wanted to thank the staff and just let them know I noticed. See you again soon.

Starbucks management blew it during covid. They still at this late date still will not let customers sit inside while all the other cafes are taking there customers. The execs in Seattle are managing scared because they are afraid to be wrong. So they do nothing, following the CEO philosophy, if you do nothing you can't be blamed. But the spoils go to the bold, so in San Francisco Starbucks is losing it's customers to cafes like Joe And The Juice, and Illy Cafe who are not managing scared.

      It's been a LONG time since I gave a Starbucks 5 stars.

Here's why this one hit the jackpot:

      1. Friendly employees
      2. Pretty store (nice decor, lighting, open space, and windows)
      3. Lots of seating (low tables, high-tops, window seats - you name it)
      4. Clean bathroom
      5. Well-stocked (from napkins and stirrers to milk and creamer, pastries and packaged foods)

      Score!

-- Side note: the internet here is obscenely slow. I was here trying to work, but if you're just coming in to be social and have some coffee, you won't even know. :-)
