Well organized Sprouts grocery location. They carry my favorite baking flour (bobs red mill pastry flour) and also the value size bags of active dry yeast for baking (none of this tiny pouch nonsense lol).
Their produce section here looks well tended. Got a good looking bunch of bananas this week as well as two good smelling onions and a firm cucumber.
They have a good selection of fresh meats as well. It's a good sign when you walk into a grocer and you can't smell the meat department so thank you for staying on top of that.
Cashiers are friendly and if you go at an off time like during the week the lines are swift.
Thank you and keep up the good work!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Seth S.San Diego, CA01Jan 31, 2024
I've shopped at Sprouts since 2007 starting in San Digo (when it was named Henry's). It has been my #1 location for produce - the right balance of quality and cost, with seasonal variation. Here in Salt Lake, over the past three years, and the last two in particular, the quality of produce has been so consistently poor. At the same time increasing in price - pears are consistently more expensive here than Whole Foods. I'm sad to say farewell to this store after so long, but their track record for the past few years has been so poor I'm not seeing anything to convince me to stick around any longer.

Came here a few times, but the colby cheese was always out. however, other cheeses were available, but preferred trader joe's or boar's head over this brand due to pricing.

I used to work at Sprouts and, until I left the mainland, shopped there all the time. As a former employee, I can attest to their wonderful approach to treating employees and creating a positive work environment. The strict standards are also worth noting when choosing a place where fresh produce and bulk products are so central to their brand. Great leadership and so many options from which to choose. I only wish there were one near me now.

I used to love shopping here, but the assistant manager Taylor VanWhy has made my experience awful. I will not return. I had a simple inquiry and she refused to be of help. The way she spoke to me was condescending and rude. I understand that people have "bad days", but no one should be treated the way I was. Plus she sleeps with married men. This location should really know who they have as managers, because this woman should NOT be one!

Terrible. This company makes enough money off pricey food that they could be fully staffed with well paid employees, but they won't do it. Always a line at the cash registers.
What makes this all worse is that every time you go there, some entitled jerk will cut in front of everyone else, and the employees say/do nothing about it, leaving it up to customers (who have no authority) to address the issue.
I hate going to this store, and I only do so when I really must. They deserve the lack of business they get from everyone.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 309225108076Apr 30, 2020
Can we give a shoutout to Sprouts for working hard during this COVID-19 stuff? By far the most non-insane shopping experience I had early on in this situation that I had was at Sprouts.
And I came here to give them a kudos and I noticed they've updated their Yelp page with all the info about delivery, and curbside, and even have a button right here on their page that lets you go right to ordering.
I usually shop Sprouts when I'm in need of produce, as the packaged goods are not something I'm into (not so much because Sprouts, but because I don't do a lot of packaged goods). If you can catch the meat case on a good day, you'll find some specials, though overall I do tend to find the meat is a little more expensive than some of the other options in town. However, when you have some great sausage recipes like they do, I think it's worth checking into.
Bulk foods, bulk spices, and for sure those day 12 flavors of gummy bears in the candy bins are the real thing that keep me coming back.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nov 28, 2017
Sprouts is my favorite local grocery store. It's the perfect size (not overwhelmingly large, but not teeny either).
Their produce is the most reasonably priced, sometimes downright cheap, and it happily happens to be the best quality of any stores in the area. They often carry more creative fruits and vegetables too, either special varieties (Sweetango apples, Sumo citrus, yellow kiwi, purple sweet potatoes, Meyer lemons, Sunshine raspberries, shishito peppers, red and Manzano bananas) or just plain cool stuff like kumquats, sunchokes, persimmons, and even finger limes (current trendy food which also happens to hold a special place in my heart).
The bulk section is impressive as well, featuring a generous assortment of nuts, dried fruit, granola, beans, grains, baking supplies, and lots of candy (all the dark chocolate covered nuts and honeycomb are particular favorites).
They make excellent sandwiches and wraps. My favorite is the chicken cobb, and at $4.99 it's a steal; the perfect lunch when you've been out running errands all day and realize you probably need a little sustenance. Other in-store prepared items include freshly pressed juice and sushi.
If you're lucky you might come across some of their clearance items, allowing you to stock up on favorites, or discover some new products you never knew you needed.
Lastly, their customer service is beat by no other local stores. Employees, whether at the butcher counter, produce section, or check-out are always incredibly friendly and helpful. They seem truly happy, and that makes me happy too. While items outside of their meats and produce are sometimes pricier than your average grocery store, when on sale you can find some decent deals, and I still do the majority of my shopping at Sprouts (albeit the Murray location).Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0
