Spin Cleaners

I decided to give them a try after hesitating for few years due to some of the bad reviews. Ended up regretting it- they tore my tie (see picture) and didn't even acknowledge it until I noticed it. And then gave me the run around for 6 weeks to give me another one as replacement. I had to call multiple times and was told by front person that I need to call when the manager is in. It is unfortunate, as I was looking forward to be their regular customer. Mistakes happen, clothes can get damaged, but it should not be on the customer to keep following up for a resolution. Rather the company should call and keep the customer updated on the status. I also worry that the quality of dry cleaning is not great looking at all the negative reviews. And then the staff blamed me for being rude for hanging up the phone (after calling for 10th time in 6 weeks and being told that it's between me and their manager). You don't want to be arguing with customers who you have already wronged.

If you check their prices on their website, they're lying when I got there and ask him about the prices and I said well I see owners problem no that's your fucking problem you charge me 275 when it said 199 on your website she was very rude and just took my clothes and I got them back and I will never go there again fucking liars cheaters and honestly their work is fair go fuck yourself

I took my comforter to Spin Cleaners on September 11, 2020 because they were running a special for $15 comforter cleaning that month. I had never used this cleaners before but wanted to take advantage of their offer. When I picked up my comforter on September 19th it was completely destroyed. They must have used the wrong setting on their dryer system because the comforter was drawn up like a prune. My comforter is only 2 months old which was purchased from Macy's for over $200!!!
I returned to the store and discussed my issues with the sales associate Sheree and she provided me with terrible customer service. Sheree never apologizes for the issue with the comforter and said that her manager Dan would have to look at it.
I asked to speak with Dan and she informed me that he was a different store and that I would have to leave the comforter with her. I waited over 2 days for Dan to return my call and he advised me that the didn't do anything different than what they normally do. I explained to Dan that the comforter is so drawn up that it no longer fits a queen size bed. Again Dan didn't take in action in resolving my issue and then told me that their policy is that they will only pay $25 for reimbursement for my comforter. After this DEBACLE I would warn everyone not to use this cleaners!!! They are vey unprofessional, lack integrity and are incompetent. Any quality cleaners would stand behind their work and try to resolve the customer's complaint. I have requested to speak with the owner Scott and I still have heard back from anyone.

Great price on laundering shirts. Prices for other dry cleaning is good as well. The employees are nice and do an great job of giving special care to stains if you point them out to them.

Now, I'm a quick believer that credit should be given where credit is due. Several months ago I began using this location for my dry cleaning. My initial experience was horrid, however as time went by (a bringing up a few concerns), it appears the establishment has slowly changed its way. The same staff which I initially didn't like, have pleasantly transformed to very nice individuals. My guess is, maybe once they know a customer, things change. In any manner, I really appreciate the services being given, and friendliness of the staff. Keep up the great work!

You get what you pay for!!!!! They are times that this place is on point no issues and then there's times when there's issues but what do you expect for $1.99 a shirt.

If only someone here would just SMILE. Geez. It's not that difficult to be pleasant and smile. Had a dress recleaned because the obvious spot I pointed out Day 1 didn't come out. It didn't come out the second time either. I don't plan to go back.

I will never use this cleaner again. I took a white dress shirt to be cleaned and it came back with rust stains all over it. After two separate attempts to make it right, it still has rust streaks on it. Take your clothes anywhere but here.

Nice people, great service and really low prices. They are also open on Saturdays, which can be a great benefit. I loved the people at my neighborhood cleaners, and it was a tiny bit more convenient, but a short drive saves more than 50%.

For the price and location, this is the perfect dry cleaners. Unfortunately, the service and quality is the issue I found. I dropped off about 10 items for the first time last week. I was told they would be ready in two days, which I thought was great. The price is very fair and I haven't found anything close to the value in Birmingham.
The women I worked with at the register were not very friendly. This was my first time at spin cleaners but it seemed like they expected me to know everything already. I'm not a fan of the signs everywhere saying that once you walk out they'll ignore any claims about lost or damaged items. Considering dry cleaning is a service, I would expect a little more hospitality and understanding. I don't necessarily have time to check each item before I leave the shop.
I don't completely understand why a blouse is different from a shirt, making it 2x more expensive to clean. Most of my items were fine, although somewhat wrinkled and one of my starched shirts had an odd yellow stain on the front that wasn't there before. Regardless, my biggest issue was a suit jack I brought in. When I got home to look at it, I noticed a string hanging from the cuff. Looking closer, I barely touched the string and one of the buttons on the cuff fell off. It seems like I can't call them about these issues due to the signs everywhere in the shop basically stating that once you leave, it's not their problem.
I was disappointed with my overall experience at spin cleaners. I would like to try them again due to the great prices and location, but the quality of service and cleaning makes me a little hesitant.
