We came here from San Diego solely for two jazz concerts (Darryl Walker & Nils). We stayed two nights and enjoyed our first meal Friday night. I got the short rib and my husband got the bone in rib eye. Let me first say that the service is exceptional! Our waitress advised me to order the short rib and it was the tastiest, most tender, melt in your mouth piece of meat! I could only eat half; that's how large the portion was! My husband, on the other hand, ate every bite of his medium-cooked to perfection steak! My guess is that if the music hadn't started, the show would have been him sucking on the bone! We ordered the bruschetta (no goat cheese), and shared a salad. Overall, one of the best meals we've had in a very long time. What topped it off for us was listening to Darryl Walker sing "Hold Me!" We're going back tonight to see Nils, enjoy incredible service again, and we've already chosen our entire meals! Food just tasted better when accompanied by great music!
Update- We went back the following night and had an equally great meal with exceptional service! Twice in a row isn't a fluke, it's setting high standards that are met. I don't believe this kitchen ever sends out anything less than perfection! We started with the shrimp pommery appetizer, then the caprese salad, then we each had a seafood dish. The lobster ravioli were exceptional and the seafood conchiglie was filled with lobster, crab, and huge shrimp in a flavorful garlic cream sauce. The flourless chocolate cake and a cappuccino sealed the deal and put an end to an exceptional meal.
The only thing that would have made the evening perfection is if each meal came with the recipe so we could try and replicate the experience at home. No such luck (we didn't dare to ask) so we will just have to make this a quarterly weekend trip. We deserve it and so do you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Feb 3, 2018Previous reviewWe came here from San Diego solely for two jazz concerts (Darryl Walker & Nils). A friend set up a gathering at Spaghettini to take in a performance by Pretzel Logic and enjoy a meal and drinks. We arrived around 5:30 and were promptly seated at a long table to accommodate our group of ten.
Our server, Jill, greeted us and proceeded to take drink orders. She was fantastic the entire evening. We all had a great time and enjoyed our meals.
My special pork chop was excellent as was my wife's lobster dinner. Everyone in our party either finished their meals or took home leftovers.
The band was super and we had a rocking good time. We would definitely go back for more great food and music. We would definitely ask for Jill to be our server.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Brook was the best, she helped with the reservations and made sure to be able to accommodate my group seamlessly. We were able to get full reservations in spite of what the online system indicated.
Brunch was good, and I could never get tired of hearing DW3.
I was a bit concerned that after we paid the bill and tipped the waiter he came back and basically asked for more money. We tipped him in cash and paid the bill by credit card, I was a bit turned off by his actions. I guess this is a new thing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 18, 2024Previous reviewStill love this place, not necessarily the price which has increased significantly. Enjoyed the brunch last night week, food was great, price is heavy in your pockets

I came in a group of 10 on a Saturday evening with one person in our group being a regular at this upscale Italian restaurant on Seal Beach Blvd just north of the 405. It's just on the other side of the golf course at the Old Ranch Country Club, so I figured this would be a great hangout spot for golfers who want to enjoy some fine Italian cuisine after 18 holes there.
Spaghettini is next to Kobe Steakhouse & Lounge, and this is where I need to mention the parking situation. The two share a lot, but some spots are reserved for Kobe customers while other spots are specifically for Spaghettini customers. It wasn't clear to me where they draw the line, and there was even someone out in the lot making sure that the cars parked closer to Kobe do belong to customers dining at Kobe.
I arrived just before our reservation time of 5:30, and most of the unoccupied spots were for valet parking only. And that part of the lot was directly in front of the restaurant too. I didn't actually know about the valet parking until I exited my car and saw the vacant part of the lot closed off for valet. Besides valet, there were very few empty spots left, so I was super fortunate to have scored one of those last spots. Otherwise, I would have either had to do valet or park at a different lot on the other side of Old Ranch Parkway.
Another concern I had was the dress code. I wasn't sure if it'd be okay to come in shorts and flip flops, or if men had to come in wearing a suit and tie. Shortly before I left, I saw on their website the attire is business casual, so I came in dressed like a golfer, including a hat. However, I did see someone dress more casually than me, so really, I think as long as you're not dressed like you just came from the beach on a hot summer day, you should be fine.
The Yelp check-in offer is a free creme brulee, but it does mention the caveat of one per table. Though we all sat at one table, I felt tempted to propose to the group to split ourselves up into two tables just to get another complimentary creme brulee lol. It's a $14 dessert, so if you do have a second person in your group with the Yelp app on your phone, that may be an idea you want to try, or if you're good friends with the server like the regular in our group, the server may be nice enough to honor multiple times for the same table.
Our group had confusion about the group size, which caused us to be initially seated at a smaller table, and we had thought about trying to squeeze everyone in until we got re-sat at a different table just a few feet away. I thought we'd get new cups and a table setting, but I didn't realize until one of the servers handed me my cup from the first table we were at. I was impressed he remembered with how many people were in the restaurant at the time!
We shared a couple of pizzas and other starters. It took a while for everyone else to decide what to get, but I had my eyes set on the Wild Mushroom, Chicken, and Roasted Garlic Penne from the get-go thanks to one of my Yelp friends who had been here twice before and ordered that pasta dish both times.
Service was kind of slow, but with so many people in our group and so many others enjoying the musical performance that night, I won't hold it against them that much. They gave us plenty of bread to munch on before the main course, and there were two types. One was like a soft focaccia, and the other was crispier, like a mini baguette. The butter worked well on both, and I thought it was pretty cool to try two different types of bread to evade monotony.
The pizzas we got were Pepperoni and BBQ Chicken. They were so large that for an upscale Italian restaurant like this, $25 isn't too bad, but the flavors aren't too extravagant. The BBQ Chicken legit looked like cheese pizza with some garnish on top, so definitely don't judge a book by its cover here. The BBQ and chicken were hidden underneath the cheese. Both of the pizzas were pretty good, but I don't think they were that much better than California Pizza Kitchen, which is best known for their Original BBQ Chicken.
The Wild Mushroom Pasta was pretty good! It's hard to say if it's really worth the $35 price tag, but it was infused with a great deal of flavor that I was okay with splurging this one time for one of the tastiest pasta dishes I've had to this day. The pasta was also pretty slippery that it took me a long time to eat that plate of pasta with just a fork. However, I regretted eating a lot of the starter bread and should have saved at least one of the softer ones to sop up all the remaining sauces that were left over upon conclusion of my main course. I ended up using a slice of BBQ Chicken Pizza to clean that plate, but it wasn't easy lol.
Valet is $10, and you enter from Old Ranch Parkway. You can pay by cash or credit card. The attendants are very punctual; I even saw one literally do a 40-yard dash across the lot just to retrieve a car lol.
Overall, not bad! Also, no, I don't golf lolHelpful 31Thanks 6Love this 31Oh no 0 - 3849821826Mar 11, 2024
We had a 7pm reservation here for Valentines day. The parking lot area was absolutely packed, even the valet was backed up. We ended up parking in the additional parking at the offices that was right across the street. It was a short walk to the restaurant so we were fine with parking there. When we got to the front of the restaurant it was super crowded, but I was able to check in and we waited outside on a surprisingly comfortable bench. The garden out front was really pleasant. We didn't have to wait too long for our table, probably less than ten minutes.
We were seated by a bussing station which was behind some double doors so it was quite busy around us most of the night. Our waiter Eddy was super nice and accommodating. To drink I got their blueberry mocktail and my boyfriend ordered a nice glass of wine. My mocktail was really good, the blueberry flavor was very prominent. For our appetizer we ordered the shrimp that came with a mustard cheese sauce. It was delicious and great to dip our bread in. The shrimp was pretty big and went really well with the sauce.
For our entrees I ordered the pappardelle bolognese and my boyfriend chose the chicken parmesan which was served with spaghetti. Eddy kept checking in with us and told us that we would get our entrees soon. Our main dishes came out at the same time and we both got some extra freshly grated parmesan to top them off. My noodles were thick and had a good bite to them. The bolognese was super meaty and flavorful. I also liked the addition of house-made ricotta, which was light and creamy. I tried some of my boyfriend's chicken parm as well and it was very tasty. The chicken was super tender.
For dessert we just settled with some cappuccinos, it came with a cube of sugar and a lot of milky foam. The cappuccinos were very comforting and a great end to our Valentines day meal. We had a great time here and it was a perfect Valentines dinner.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1Business owner information

I came here to a fundraiser brunch. The food was amazing. We had a 4 course meal because it was a private event. Course 1: coffee cake and champagne Course 2: Tomato bruschetta with a salad Course 3: we had a choice of pancakes, french toast, salmon or chicken Parmesan. I chose the salmon and my friend had pancakes. Course 4 Mini Crème Brûlée. The food was amazing. We were entertained with live music from DW3. Great band. They play RnB classics. I truly enjoyed the music. Since we had a 4 course meal, the food kept coming. The service was attentive. I don't know how much a typical brunch cost here but since I was at a fundraiser, I imagine that I paid more than the usual. I paid $200.00. There is valet parking but we parked for free in a lot across the street. It was only a 1 minute walk. I will definitely be back. Good vibes.

Came here to try this place. I have passed it various times and thought to try it out. Fine dining like establish, they host live bands. We were able to be seated if requested eating outside. It was nice and cozy with heated lamps.
We had the cocktails which were good,
The grapefruit manhattan is a stiff drink
They provide complimentary bread which were great!
Appetizers
Oyster in a half shell
Beef carpaccio
Bother standard and fresh. Nice way to start
We head the lobster bisque which were amazing!
Pairs well with the bread provided.
Pasta
Pasta bolognese was excellent
Fettuccini al limone con gamberi
Wild mushroom spaghetti
The pasta texture tastes amazing. The best pasta was the bolognese. Second the mushroom and final fettuccini.
We also ordered side of their Brussels sprouts which was also delicious. I do wish it was charred a little more, felt more like it was stir fried.
Dessert was good too, we ordered pound cake.
Not sure if I will choose this spot as a regular spot to go. But I do recommend going at least once.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 19, 20241 check-in
It's been a while since I've had fine dining, apparently since COVID sort of forgot about how great it can be. Also feel like I overrated all the other food I've had in the last 4 years. Service was impeccable and truly a level above anything I've experienced in years. The focaccia bread was divine.
Had some oysters to start and they were amazing fresh, clean and delicious. Then a cup of the soup which was a vegetable chicken soup today and it was the best soup I've had in ages. Perfect amount of salt and herbs. Then the filet mignon with the spinach and potatoes. Spinach was steamed with some garlic and not sure what else but it was so good. The potatoes were crisp and tasty little fingerlings. Finally the filet was cooked exactly as ordered and just fantastic.
Topped it off with the Crème Brûlée and went to heaven.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
