Amazing service. The food arrived in a timely matter. The food was warm, delicious, and plenty of variety for all. included for vegetarians and meat eaters. The variety of salsas was my favorite part.

We first learned about soho taco through our wedding venue many years ago. We went to one of soho's tasting events (which is held bi-monthly, priced very reasonably, and well organized in their Santa Ana location) and were SUPER impressed. We ended up going with another caterer for our wedding but because their food and service left an impression, when we were planning our baby shower last year, we immediately thought of soho taco again! We went to another tasting event and it did not disappoint, so we retained soho to cater our shower.

Why we would recommend Soho to ANYONE:

1). Great service. Selene was so great and made our lives easy. She was detailed oriented, very responsive, and answered a lot of our questions. She made us feel at ease planning our event and coordinated everything. Delivery was prompt (although probably should've asked for more prep/ set up time on the day of) and service was great.

2). Food was yummmmmy! Honestly, what's good caterer without great food? Our guests were as impressed by the food as we were. We initially wanted their on site cooking but ended up opting for the tray food (with warmers). They were just as tasty! The portion is on the smaller side though, not gonna lie, but it ended up being the perfect amount of food for us. If you have a big party, you might have to communicate that with them pre-event.

Soho taco isn't the cheapest but the quality is there, so it really depends on what you want and what kind of event/ catering you're looking for. Definitely go to one of their tasting events and try for yourself! We are a fan!

This review is mainly regarding renting out their venue for an event and using their taco catering.

The host was very responsive while planning and the space was just as advertised, but unfortunately there were some shortcomings that made the start of our event a little rocky.
- There was no one there at the start to help with setting up the event space, especially with unlocking the doors or connecting to the sound system, until we had to look for and finally found the manager on-site, Rico, to assist us.
- When we entered, there was a stench that only went away after the doors were open for a while.
- The stench might have came from another issue with the ventilation/HVAC of the event space. The thermostat was only set to heat despite changing to a cooler temperature even with the help of Rico. Everyone was uncomfortable and we ultimately decided to turn it off once we saw it could not be fixed during the event time.
Overall, it did not seem like the event space was checked for readiness before the event so we had to deal with that in the first hour and compromise with what we were given. It was still a beautifully decorated space, and the staff on-site were accommodating and helped as much as they could.
Also, their tacos are definitely not worth the price. I should have expected the less than authentic taste that when I saw the quote, but I guess that's what you pay for "gourmet" tacos. Aguacate salsa was amazing, but that was the only stand out factor from other taco spots. Save your money for a local taqueria.

So glad I found you! I needed a lunch catered and I happen to stumble into SOHO tacos, so glad it did! Everyone enjoyed the food, and I mean EVERYONE. They also have a restaurant which I will be bring my family to.

Whether you've got a party of 10 or 100, Soho is the place you want to call! :) I had a small party of 15 of my girlfriends join me poolside for my bday. SoHo's to go packaging made it so easy to pick up, transport, and set up. They used Saran Wrap and foil to keep everything fresh and hot, you also have the option to add on chafers, if you wish.

We got the chicken, carne asada, tortillas, Spanish rice, refried beans, chips, and all the toppings. Oh my gosh, I almost forgot the star of the show, the mini bean and cheese burritos were an ABSOLUTE HIT! We got a dozen of them and that was the first thing to get wiped out. Don't skip on these, you have to get them for your party!

You ever cater tacos and end up with your party liking the meat but not the sides or vice versa? This is the first time that my guests and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED everything, the sides, the sauces, and the meat, everything was delicious, there was nothing we could complain about.

Alexis and Selene were amazing, professional and so friendly. My fiancé had a million questions and they never once rushed us. :)

We look forward to using Soho Taco catering for more parties and events in the near future.

The first time we experienced SOHO Tacos was at a party over a decade ago. The tacos were absolutely DELICIOUS! Even the sides, salsas, and condiments were sensational. We thought about the food long after the party was over. A couple years later, we had SOHO Tacos cater our son's first birthday party. It was a smashing success! The freshness, quality and tastiness was unmatched. The set up and service was professional and transitions in & out were seamless. The staff were so friendly and just an all around great addition to our party. We had SOHO Tacos again for our son's 2nd birthday & then again a couple years later when our littlest turned 1.

Fast forward to almost 5 years later, the week before our kids' first recital we decided to pivot our plans and host a reception afterwards. It was going to be a small group of 20 and we knew we wanted something special for our guest. SOHO tacos was the first choice. Selene was amazing to work with. She was professional, attentive and made everything so easy. Even for such short notice, all of the SOHO taco staff were so accommodating. The set up again was swift and everything was beautifully prepared and presented. The food... oh my heart! It was exactly as I remembered so many years ago. The consistency in the quality of the ingredients was just so refreshing to experience again. SOHO Taco catering is also extremely generous; the portions are incredible. Thank you SOHO Taco team for making every experience we've ever had so positive and memorable. We cannot wait until our next event!!!

We enjoyed an amazing catering experience from SOHO on Saturday for an event we held for 85 people. EVERYONE loved the food, and SOHO was able to provide an entirely vegetarian feast for us. We've used SOHO for several events in the past and have never been disappointed. Very easy to work with. Fair prices. Great quality and quantity of food. Can't wait for the next time!
