Local veteran owned company servicing all your heating and air conditioning needs. From semi-annual service, to repairs, and full system engineering and replacement. We continue to be a provider of industry leading quality work at a competitive price. Our maintenance calls include thorough cleaning and inspection of the system. Our ductwork is engineered and designed custom for your home taking account the size, use, location, and heat load of each room. Our systems are designed for a nice even temperature across the entire home. Many homeowners call us with problem rooms that were never comfortable, and we completely eliminate that problem. We use only the top quality brands of equipment for our replacement and give the client the option to pick if they want basic, middle of the road, or top of the line efficiency and amenities. We keep in mind the benefits of modern technology and healthy air products other companies leave out of the picture. There are many problems home owners have with their HVAC system: Utility bills are too high and not worth it to run the system. The heater dries out the home and is not comfortable. The smell coming from the system is unbearable. The system is too loud. Certain rooms are comfortable while the rest are either too hot or too cold. The system runs all day and still can't cool the home below 80 degrees. Solving these problems is what we specialize in. Our quality and technical skills keep you comfortable. We also offer insulation.

Furnace quit working.
After being told by another company (B&C) that my only option after their thorough diagnosis (10mins) was to completely replace the HVAC system. ($9K) No parts or manufacture support available leaving them no option.
SoCal Airflow Pros dispatched tech Aubrey, who diagnosed problem of burn area on control board.
Found control board locally at HVAC parts supplier, installed, tested and completed service in 2 hours.
I have already told the other 200 homeowners in my community of the experience with both companies.
Thanks Aubrey, Thanks SoCal AirFlow Pros.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael M.Lake Forest, CA0213Jan 5, 2024Updated review
This is a review on a service call we just had. Our furnace stopped working and just blew cold air. We had next day service and the response was so very professional. We had two technicians out and they got everything working perfectly again. They made sure we knew the root cause and gave us follow up advice. Very hard working, conscientious and thoughtful.
We have recommended SoCal Airflow Pros to multiple people before and I still feel they are the best choice for our HVAC needs.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 7, 2018Previous reviewSoCal Airflow installed a complete new A/C and furnace system with ducting as well in our older home in Lake Forest. The entire crew worked extremely hard to complete the job quickly while ensuring that things were installed correctly. While we paid a premium for all that we purchased, we feel that the service was exceptional and we know that if we call with any concerns and/or questions, the staff will do their best to provide job satisfaction. We highly recommend them!
Jul 5, 2018Previous reviewWe really enjoyed working with SoCal Airflow Pros. They were punctual, attentive and very professional. We had some minor AC work done to get ready for the summer heat and we felt good about their service team. When it came to addressing our long term issues with a 30+ year old HVAC we had them come bid on the job. The appointment process, follow up calls and onsite staff were VERY professional. We got data to allow us to make a good decision and there was never any pressure to go with their solution.
They did replace our entire HVAC and did a GREAT job. We decided to replace our HVAC so it did a better job cooling the house. We agreed on a few extra registers, relocating an intake and new duct work. I wanted to do this once and do it well, so when I asked them to give us options I found their expertise valuable. These extra steps didn't result in major upcharges, and really helped cool the house better.
From the consultation, replacement and follow up there wasn't a concern or feeling that we weren't their focus. They emphasize customer service and having a satisfied customer. There was no pressure and a lot of patience. Their onsite team always listened and promptly called us back every time.
We went with SoCal Airflow Pros because we wanted dependability and service we could rely on. We are very satisfied. - Greg M.Lake Forest, CA3242Dec 13, 2023
Beware! I chose this company since the owner is a Veteran as was my dad. However, this company is part of the Goettl AC and Plumbing family, who has a questionable reputation. If I had known SoCal Airflow Pros was part of Goettl, I would have stayed faw away from hiring them.
This company will try to upsell you as soon as they lay foot in your home. My home is only two-years old with a Carrier HVAC unit. What was suppose to be a routine maintence call turned into an $800 evap coil cleaning which did not involve removing the coil from the HVAC unit. Somehow, they pressured me into a Phenomenial Aire Cleaner by telling me they would include the evap coil cleaning if I purchase the air cleaner for $1,900! They also told me that my ducting is not adequate for the my HVAC system and that my system would only last 5-year unless I purchased new duct work for $10,000!
Fool me once but not twice!
I decided to have two different Carrier authorized service providers come out to my home to inspect my unit to see if what SoCal Airflow Pros's ducting had any validity. Both authorized service providers said my system is installed to manufacturer specifications and the unit should last a good 20-30 years! One of the service providers also informed me that they charge $100 for evap coil cleaning if the coil is not removed and $300-$500 if the coil needs to be removed. They also informed me that they charge $1000 installed for the same Phenomenal Aire unit.
Word of advice avoid this company or get a 2nd opinion for whatever they tell you! They will try to upsell you with scare tactics! I put my trust in a military veteran, instead of putting my trust in the person and company, my mistake!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 4 - Randall B.Nashville, TN033Mar 27, 2024
DO NOT use this company if quality of workmanship and / or keeping appointments matter to you. Just a horrific experience for customers. They have. Been purchased by a company named Goettl (pronounced ghetto). Your calls are directed to a Las Vegas, NV call center. The call center can only text team members in California and not call them directly. Basically it is a quagmire or bureaucracy and you will not get service.

Thieves and liars.
They are so busy selling they don't listen. After you finally get through the sales person, they send in the C- team to really screw things up.
I am $50K into what should have been a simple compressor replacement ($7K), it then turned into a second unit (both heat pumps), then a new set of condensers, then air filters to improve flow, then a new hole in my hallway that was never properly repaired, then the promise from the service manager that if I just re-ducting it would get better (which it didn't), then a promise from the general manager that he could fix the screw ups from his team (which he half way did by consuming what had previously been a walk around attic (but didn't solve the air flow), then a promise from the owner that he would get an "industry expert" to return things back to normal - which he ignored for months and has since forgotten.
Thieves and liars, and frankly they should be embarrassed to call themselves former marines.Helpful 6Thanks 3Love this 2Oh no 0 - 38196232Aug 15, 2022
I normally don't book a service or purchase anything from a solicitation phone call, but last week I picked up a call from this business and was helped by Raul. He was very friendly and there was no pressure and if was not a "telemarketing" call, but he called me in the dead heat of California summer where it's hot and humid! Raul was very friendly and professional and offered to send someone out for my AC and furnace maintenance check.
Kevin came out and was also very friendly and professional. I like that I could track the driver and was notified about 20 minutes prior to Kevin's arrival. Kevin was very thorough and drew a diagram and explained my system to me in a simple manner. The whole appointment was about 1.5 hours and the tech was mostly outside cleaning and checking the AC unit. I was offered a membership, but Kevin was not pushy and he also gave me a few suggestions to make my unit more efficient and help with longevity.
Highly recommend this business as everyone was friendly and professional and it was easy to get an appointment that worked with my schedule.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - S L.Mission Viejo, CA011Mar 2, 2024
I called for service, they said they'd be here today between 1-5pm with a text 30 minutes before arrival. Total no show. I called twice 30 minutes before 5pm leaving vmails, and texted back...and nothing. I am without heat and hot water until tomorrow. They are unprofessional and inconsiderate.

If you want to pay to have someone sell you a new AC system, then hire these guys for routine maintenance. I got the first service and it was fine. Six months later, it was "you have a leak" and everything is going to fail. They canceled the charge with just the one call, so at least that is a good business practice, since they'd roped me into subscription service (boo). But they call all the time trying to reinitiate. I've asked at least five times to stop calling.
I think maintenance is a good idea, but I'd recommend asking your local handyman. These guys seemed 100% out to sell a new system. I wouldn't bother writing a negative review, but they keep calling.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Usha V.Baja California, Mexico18157Jul 14, 2023

After much research and multiple bids, I settled on the highly recommended, competitive pricing of SoCal Airflow Pros. It was a tough decision between them and my go-to guys (see my other reviews for HVAC maintenance) but the earlier availability tipped the scales.
First off, I love the system of sending a text with a photo and name of the technician coming out. That is extremely helpful, especially to those who live alone or are elderly, and need that extra step of precaution.
Second. Terrance and his install crew were legit. Not only is Terrance super knowledgeable, but the guy is just easy and fun to talk too. Rapport was easy with him. He got things done quickly, explained what we was doing when I asked, and was easily one of the nicest guys I've ever met. New system blows cold as ice.
Fast forward to 9/25/22, no longer cold as ice. I made a yelp request 9/26/22, Sunday, and they said to give them a call. I call in that Monday morning, and they say they will refer my info to the Warranty Dept. By the end of the day, another rep calls me, says someone will be out the next day to take a look. 9/28/22, I get the text with who else but, Terrance. He shows up, diagnoses, and fixes the problem. Give this guy a bonus!
Everything about them is professional, and every step they take is the reason why they will be my new go-to HVAC people. See you guys in a year for the maintenance.
Also, sorry, I haven't answered the calls/emails on the survey of the job. Take this 5* review as "Extremely Satisfied" and "Would recommend to a friend."Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Amir M.Mission Viejo, CA012Nov 17, 2023
I've used these guys a total of three times. Buyer beware they are not SoCal airflow pros. They were bought out by Goettl HVAC which is the worst HVAC company on the planet and they (SoCal Airflo) won't tell you this.
SoCal Airflow pros contractors license that they had based in Rancho San Margarita is no longer active and not able to contract at this time per the California contractor state license board. They now have a new CSLB contractors license where the address is based in Las Vegas Nevada and you can link this license to Goettl air condition.
The first time I dealt with them was good because they fixed the leak that I had in my coil which was in the attic. But then it leaked again after they claim they fixed it and said that I now need to install a $800 UV sensor to help .
On my second go with them they told me that the reason why my AC is not working well is because my vents are leaking the air out so I had them replace all my air ducts and a small two bedroom 1000 square-foot condo which ended up costing me $3000 but because they had my trust I did not shop them around which was my biggest mistake.
Changing out the ducks made a very minimal difference. So I called them out again to inspect my AC to make sure it's working properly. After giving it a little tuneup their technician told me that my condenser is low on Freon and I need to put Freon into it so they charge me another $300 to add Freon into my condenser and after they did that my AC system completely stopped blowing cold air.
So a day or two I called them pretty upset, asking them to come back and find out what they did to my AC system because it was blowing cold air before they touched it. I only called them to come out and inspect the the leaking coil to make sure it didn't have any issues from the first time they fixed it. They told me the coil was not the problem and that the AC condenser was low on Freon.
So after my AC unit stopped blowing cold air. Once he filled it up with Freon. They came back a day or two later to inspect why it wasn't working and they told me that I have some kind of leak in the pipes going through my house and the AC System doesn't work because I have leaks somewhere through the pipes of my system and that I need to pay eight $900 so they could do a die test and pump die into the pipes to see where it's leaking from.
I asked him to leave my property because before they showed up my AC was working fine and blowing cold air. After they touch the condenser and filled it with Freon supposedly it stopped blowing cold air and then they wanted to charge me almost $1000 just to check to see what the problem is
So you see what I'm getting at all they do is charge and try to get more money and more money but they're not fixing your problem. I ended up calling another company called Capistrano air and they came out to look and they said whoever touched your AC condenser messed it up And it was almost empty of Freon so he either overloaded the system or drained the system by mistake a Freon..
The technician from Capistrano air said that I don't have any leaks in my pipes and that unfortunately HVAC companies will try to always up charge you and doing these tests that are unnecessary. Within two hours this technician from Capistrano air not only fixed my AC system for just $90 , but now it's blowing colder air than it did before, so you be the judge. Do you guys feel like I got ripped off because I do so I would avoid this company altogether and find another HVAC company that is more trustworthy and doesn't hide who they actually are.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0
