If I could give a zero I would. If you are looking for a Sleep Number bed I would recommend you go to a different location. I have had issue after issue which isn't even the frustrating part. It's the customer service and the way I was treated IN this store.

I ordered our bed to help my wife who finds it difficult to sleep because of rheumatoid arthritis on June 4, 2021. Even though they talk about a 2 week delivery, it was scheduled out approximately 4 weeks ( mid July) I received a text the day before the scheduled delivery confirming the delivery. I took a day off from work (-$). One hour after the delivery time I received a call to reschedule for Aug 14. I spent hours on their 800 # speaking with various "Specialists" to resolve this. The best they could do was Aug 10. So on Aug 9 I again received a phone call and text confirming delivery the next day. Same result as before. I took another day off work (-$). BUT NO DELIVERY. Another phone call and text rescheduling delivery on August 27.
In the meantime these grifters had used over $5,000 of my money for over 2 months.
I went to the store to complain, cancel the order and receive a credit against my credit card. But like with others the manager can only take your money but not return it. He directed me to the "specialists" at the 800#, which is not ever answered in less than 10 minutes. I refused and made him call corporate where he had to wait 10+ minutes. I finally received an email that I would receive a credit in about 10 days (letting them use my money again.

In November I visited this store to search for a new mattress. I have lower back problems and a Sleep Number Bed had been suggested. I found the sales person friendly and provided me with a Sleep Number. I was shown several mattresses and then we discussed the price differences and the different qualities each one had. I was told that I could choose a mattress and that if I felt that I needed more of a pillow top that I could purchase the pillow top and that it would be added when the bed was assembled. I was as told while I was looking at the beds that I would have 90 days to make sure that I liked the bed. If I did not like it I could return the bed or exchange it. Sleep Number was having a sale at the time so I decided to give it a try.
The salesman wrote up the ticket and I included a mattress pad that I was told would help make sure the warranty coverage had no issues. I also purchased two pillows and a pillowtop. The sale was written up and was asked when I would like the bed delivered. I scheduled a delivery time that worked for me and walked out of the store.
The day of delivery came and Sleep Number gave me a time frame within which the bed would be delivered. The delivery was made within that time frame. Unfortunately this is where I began to question this purchase. I watched as the men began grabbing pieces to assemble this bed. I was shocked when I saw the frame which was a basically a double sided box with holes in which they laid two air mattresses. These air mattresses did not appear to be any better than if I had gone to Walmart and purchased two air mattresses.Then the pillow top that I was told would be added to the bed during assembly literally was just placed on top of the mattress after the "Air Channels" were added and then the Mattress pad placed over that. To say the least this was not satisfactory because the gel pillow top moved as you move in the bed. The delivery men were also not able to set up the Sleep IQ because they said their was something wrong with the code and that I would have to call the 1-800 number.
Before 60 days had passed, I had decided that the bed was going back. I had paid a pretty price for a bed that was poor in quality and slept horribly. I honestly tried to like this bed and even adjusted the Sleep Numbers multiple times. So I decided to go by the store and schedule a time for them to come and pick up the bed. I was quickly told that they had nothing to do with picking up of the beds and that I would have to call the 1-800 number to have the bed picked up. I found this irritating since I had purchased the bed from the store, but followed their directions.
Upon called the 1-800 number I found that although I had been told that I had a free 90 trial this was not the case. I found out that I had been charged $179.00 for them to come to the house and set up the bed and that I would also have to pay $179.00 for them to come and take it down. Neither of these expenses were ever discussed with me during the purchase. I was also informed that none of the other items were returnable, which I can understand because of the nature of bedding, but when all was said and done, I paid almost $800 for a mattress that was supposed to have a 90 day free return policy.
If you are considering the purchase of a Sleep Number bed, I would say buyer beware. You will not be informed about all of the catches to this 90 free trial and you will probably never really see what the bed looks like on the inside. Most other mattresses are delivered free of change if their original cost is above $800-$1000. (The sot of this bed was almost double that cost) The delivery cost they are charging is how they make sure they make money on every sale even if you choose not to keep the bed and the individual stores that you are welcome to purchase from will not do anything more than sell items.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tyler O.Louisville, KY01Apr 17, 2018
Wish I could hit zero star. I did not enjoy the mattress when it was delivered. So simply trying to return everything was a disaster!!! They can only return the mattress, so now we are stuck with a frame that cost more than a car and we don't even want it. Tried to talk with the store manager and was told they couldn't do anything! I thought the customer was always right but now I know if there is money involved the little guy doesn't matter. Literally worst experience of my life! I work with high end clients in the tennis and golf community and will be sure to inform them of how awful my experience was.
