Shriners Hospitals for Children

Without a doubt one of the most caring hospitals in the medical center. Shriners Houston specializes in orthopedics and cleft lip and palate. It is more than likely the only hospital that offers free parking in their garage!

This is a childrens hospital, so the ages of patients could range as young as 3 months of age to as old as 18 years. Everyone you interact with here is incredibly nice and will go out of their way to help you. From the folks in maintenance, the ladies in the cafeteria, those in administration, to rehab, nursing, and the doctors, EVERYONE is so kind.

Truly a great place to be with some of the best quality of care that you can get. Best of all, treatment takes place regardless of a families ability to pay. That is amazing!

I happened to visit this hospital as a Chinese interpreter last week. Overall, it is a very nice one - the interior of the building and the staff are pretty amazing! If they need help again in the future, I would go back there! The staff are sincerely/truly there for the patients as they love to help these sick children (with or without health insurance). One thing that I don't like is their parking lot. It is sort of narrow and has limited space to park.

The work they do is simply amazing! The doctors and staff are top notch and the Shriner's who support them are wonderful too!
