Shrimp Basket

Behind the innocent facade of a long john silvers looking building, sits a casual southern americun (yes, americun) chain. There is a couple of these down here, but, i swear it is unlike any chain there is. We got lucky and have a guy training under a lady who were we happy to trip up with "we's good, how is youins?l" the food is amazing, as you can tell by the pics. My great grandmother made the same greens as pictured, and i swear she made them! If you see a fritter and hush puppy by my beer, it's because they hit the floor, 5 second rule does not apply. The beer was Pensacola Riptide Amber, which was amazing. The $5 pina colada was delish!!

We have driven by this place many times and finally decided to give it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was delicious! My fiancé does not care for seafood, but they had plenty of options for her. She ordered the chicken tacos and we were surprised at how good they were. The atmosphere is casual. The service was spot on - friendly and fast. We will definitely go back to this gem.

Great food and great service!!! Highly recommend this place for some solid seafood !!! Prices were really good also.

Wow, if you're looking for fast and delicious fried seafood, stop here. We so enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. All of the servers were friendly and accommodating. They even went out of their way to find items for the one non-seafood eater in our group to have a good meal, too. Very prompt and attentive. The food arrived quickly and hot out of the fryers. Every dish was accompanied by corn fritters and hush puppies. I had to indulge in all you can eat popcorn shrimp, and the shrimp just kept coming. Also enjoyed the desserts. Really glad we decided to eat here, for the food and for the welcomed, not rushed, atmosphere.

This wasn't hard at all to find. It also wasn't packed at all. We got in and seated right away during dinner hours.

We came here because we wanted some raw oysters and we saw that they had it. I tried their seafood boil on Cajun sauce. It wasn't bad at all. It wasn't too overly seasoned and had crab legs, shrimps, corn, and potatoes in the bag. I also tried their gumbo and I think that and the oysters were my favorite thing here. I liked how the rice in the Gumbo wasn't too hard.

The atmosphere was pretty casual and there was also a small bar in there. In all, I didn't have a bad experience.

Trinity was a fantastic server, the food was great! She made some great margaritas and served the beer ice cold. The food was great, the seafood basket was great and very filling, and the burger was good as well. We will definitely be back and we will be asking for Trinity to take care of us!!!

This particular Shrimp Basket is located east of where Navarre Parkway and S.R. 87 intersects. With that being said, this is a convenient location

The staff here was friendly enough. It also had a cool enough ambiance. For a chain restaurant, I think Shrimp Basket does an overall good job and while I would never call it outstanding, I will say that this small chain does a pretty good job.

John the manager receives no stars cause his non managerial skills were non existent when I called to complain about his cold child size portions on a fish and shrimp platter that I paid in excess of 20.00(see photos) for, times two meals. His training failed him and he cracked and hung up in my face. Along with not having large size cups they gave me two child sized cups. I know not to expect much but I did expect better from this establishment. So disappointing.

Been driving by this place for a while, decided I'd stop in and grab some takeout. Got the combo (shrimp and whitefish). Yeah, got home and thought to myself..."self, this is a children's meal...like a small child at that!" 4 small shrimp, a small piece of fish (bout the size of an average chicken strip) the corn fritter was about the size of a tater tot, and two hush puppies. Fries were about your average McDonald's medium, but for almost $20 certainly no value here. As for taste...nothing really special.

We are visiting the area and wanted to eat something near the beach. This place was recommended to us by some friends.
The food was all really good! We started with the fried pickles and then I ordered the oyster basket. Everything tasted so good, and the oysters where so big and full of flavor. We also had 5 kids with us and sat outside and it was perfect. The staff is all very friendly and patient.
