Sheraton Kansas City Sports Complex Hotel

If you're in town for a game, this is a great place to stay! The rooms are average, though the flat-screen HDTV is a nice touch, including the HD channels! The bathroom that I had was a little small. The sink was angled in a weird way and there weren't nearly enough counter space. The tub was a little clogged and the toilet took a while to flush things down.

The main selling point for this hotel is its location. During Chiefs games there are coach buses that can take you to Arrowhead for free. They leave the hotel at relatively frequent times. I didn't bother with waiting for the bus after the game, and it is probably faster just to walk the 20 minutes back to the hotel instead of waiting in traffic. It is a little off the beaten path, next to residential areas of all places, so you'll need to have a car to drive to popular downtown restaurants, shops, and attractions. But if all you're going for is to go to a Chiefs game, this place can't be beat.

Very nice hotel. Hooked it up on priceline for like 70 bucks which was a deal and a half. Right across the street from the stadium which was cool. Im very partial to their beds. My fav beds ever are the Westin Heavenly Beds and these guys are all part of the same company. I dont think Sheratons are called that but boy oh boy are they freaking comfy. There isnt much around the hotel except for the stadium and a gas station but if you are going to a game (Chiefs/Royals) this would be the prime spot to crash at.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Nice enough rooms, bed was comfortable. Staff seemed disinterested with the exception of 1 bellman, who was almost but not quite too friendly. At least he showed some enery. When I got there on Sunday night the computers were down and the open elevator I got on to get to my room was broken. Only after I went back to the front desk was I told that it was broken and to wait for another elevator. Next morning I was awaken by the alarm clock in the next room. I got up earlier than I wanted to because of it, and didn't think all that much about it. The next morning it went off again at 6:30 am and when it wouldn't stop and I was forced awake, I called the front desk to find out that the room was unoccupied. I think the maids should always check the alarm to make sure it isn't set. The hotel barely apoligized. Hotel not up to perceived standards.

Stayed at the hotel for a company meeting. Great space, easily accessible off the main lobby. Didn't have much interaction with the staff except for the server who attended to my table for our catered lunch. Professional and courteous. Food was excellent.
