Prices are very good. They have a bands that play at night. They are decent. Very nice atmosphere. Only thing that is lacking is the service. The waitress seem to pick their customers and walk by you and not so much as bring you an ash tray. They also do not clean up after people leave. After a few people the place gets nasty quick.

Cozy place to have A drink (or 2+) and my husband has his cigar. The live entertainment on most nights is enjoyable and the service is on point. Nice to have a place to take a breathe from gambling and still be entertained.

I'm a huge fan of Shadows. I only come to Talking Stick for this awesome cigar lounge. Everytime I'm here I buy food and drink and gamble sometimes too. Is this place really closing? I think that's sad if true and a lot of customers of the resort would be lost. Great service and music in this lounge. Anytime I have guests from out of town I bring them to Shadows and even recommend that they stay in the hotel. Please save our cigar lounge!

We had a delightful brunch before we decide to stop by the comfortable lounge. Shadows offers a great atmosphere with a good cigar selection. However the bartender working during the day on our visit ruined our experience. Refused to speak rolled his eyes and seemed put out when we asked "Nicholas" to open the cigar case. Unbelievably cold and rude, it was like he was trying not to speak. Everything else at the casino/hotel was great.
But Nicholas needs to treat a customer as guest not a burden.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Denise M.Scottsdale, AZ30334733Jan 15, 2019
This is a great place to meet friends, have a cigar and a few drinks. I don't smoke so for you non-smokers who might be reluctant to go inside their ventilation system is excellent. I have never left feeling like I stunk of smoke. I think the casino floor smells more like cigarette smoke than Shadows does of any smoke. They have several TV's where you can catch a game and in the evening listen to live music and they always have pretty good entertainment. The cocktail waitresses have both been there many years so they get to know the regulars and they are very friendly. You can bring in food from the other restaurants in the casino like Ocean Trail. You can purchase cigars or bring your own. Prices on booze isn't bad considering where you are. Its clean and they have comfortable seating both inside and on the 2 large outdoor patios.

I hate to gamble but my husband love it so this is my hang out place while he plays poker. Always great live music and good drinks. The resort of the resort has horrible brands and weak drinks so you have to go in here to find a good drink in the resort. The atmosphere and vibe are the best in the area. I work at another resort in the area and always recommend this place. Everyone just loves it!

I really like this lounge/cigar bar. The atmosphere is comfortable, nice without being uptight, and the staff is pretty helpful. They allow cigar smoking both indoors and on the patio, which is huge. It is enclosed from all sides so you are protected by weather (but also don't get much air movement if it's really hot).
There is a good selection of whiskies and various other liquors, at typical bar prices. Nothing great or particularly expensive, but good all around.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bob T.Glendale, AZ284Jul 23, 2019
Not many cigar bars left in the valley especially at the casinos where the service is outstanding, to the atmosphere is unmatched. I've been heresince 2013, and this has been my go to place no matter what time of day is it. From Steve, to Patrick, to Angela they have all made this the experience I enjoy to this day. I'm just coming to know that a decision has been made to convert the place into a high limits room. I'm not sure how much thinking went into how this decision was made but eliminating Shadows IMHO didn't take into account the friendships created by many through this cigar bar.

While attending a conference at the Talking Stick Resort, I noticed a sign for a Scotch tasting event that was held at Shadows Bar/Lounge. For $10....I had to check it out.
Shadows is a lounge hidden in a corner next to the High Limit Room. When you walk in, there is a small bar on the right and indoor/outdoor lounge seating on the left.
They setup the Scotch tasting in the center of the room and I paid my $10 and went for it. Here's the lineup of Scotch they had for you:
Dalwhinnie 15 yr
Glenkinchie 12 yr
Cragganmore 12 yr
Oban 14 yr
Talisker 10 yr
Lagavulin 16 yr
Yes, you got all 6 of those for $10!!! Amazing deal. The bartenders and servers were very friendly and service was great.
Will I return? Next time I'm in the area, of course!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Ernie L.Phoenix, AZ37252May 29, 2019
