Q:
Do they serve FRIED Imperial rolls? The difference between Imperial rolls and egg rolls is the wrapper. Imperial rolls are wrapped in rice flour wrappers. Egg rolls (Chinese style) are wrapped in wheat flour wrappers. Both are deep fried.
A:
spring rolls do not have to be deep fried. As far as the wrappers go you are correct. and yes they serve both.

Assistance+ Service was quick prompt and kind. It was the last two hours of business and they made us feel a bit rushed but it was understandable.
Balance+ Food to price. More food than I'd expected based on price. $22 for a soup, appetizers, main entree, and rice or noodles.
Cleanliness+ Restaurant tables forks and dishes were clean.
Deliciousness+ The hot and sour soup was to die for, the potstickers and springrolls were fantastic and the sesame chicken was delightful.
Environment+ Very traditional Chinese/Vietnamese style decor, orderly, calm and relaxing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 9, 2024Updated review4 check-ins

In the area and sopped in for lunch.
Busy on this late lunch and with the cooler weather.
Went with the honey garlic lunch, and the pork lunch with shrimp.
A little too much sauce for the honey garlic chicken, but all was good.Helpful 27Thanks 6Love this 31Oh no 0Feb 27, 2021Previous reviewSo many places are busy for a Saturday night dinner,
So this was our third stop here.
Almost all the tables were full, but luckily we got a table.
Ordered the special of the asparagus with black bean and beef, egg rolls, and chicken chow mein.
The flavors were spot in and very satisfying.
Definitely be back for a round of the Vietnamese rice plates.
Orders were backed up, but well worth the wait.May 5, 2018Previous reviewWe've been passing this place and finally decided to try it.
We are soooo glad we did!!!
Arrived around 6:30 and and we were seated quickly.
I was convinced after reading the reviews , the oxtail pho was going to be the main meal, but we split that and got 2 # 20's(pork and shrimp) rice plates. Our server was attentive and brought us an extra bowl and serving spoon to help us share...
All I can say was amazingly tasty! The broth and the grilled pork!
We will be making this a regular stop.
(We were used to getting at least 1 spring roll with our combo plates back in Elk Grove)... if they can add that I will be editing to 5 stars! - Dec 31, 2023
My fam has been here maybe 1 or 2 times in the past in Reno. It always happens when we don't want the regular fare near the casinos and drive out a bit. This is near a busy area out past downtown and the Mall area.
I came here with my folks for dinner. I got the Pho and they got other dishes. My pho was good but nothing compares to larger XL sizes available in Sactown and of course, we have Little Saigon area in South Sac so there is no comparison. However, the broth was tasty. A decent amount of meat and noodles but not abundant by any means. The place was busy when we came and was full by the time we were leaving. This is likely as there are not many Vietnamese places to eat in Reno like the millions in Sac. This place is a solid choice for good Vietnamese cuisine when in Reno!Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Feb 17, 2024
One of the best oxtail stew claypot here. It's savory. A touch of sweet thick still like consistency and it comes with rice. It was a perfect meal for us. The Bon Bu Hue spicy noodles were not spicy enough and they did not have the blood and it wasn't as thick as I wanted to be. I'm missing the pork leg too
We would like to try the lunch specials lemon chicken with wonton soup (extra cost) and also their fried rice next time. Great find in Reno close to the river.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Mar 9, 2024
Amazing spring rolls and egg flower soup. The hot and sour soup was great. The chow mein and sweet sour chicken was yummy. Staff was great and the restaurant had a great vibe.

Good food and service. Its clean inside but a little noisy. I had the L18 combo of pork and shrimp and my wife got the honey garlic chicken. My dish was very good but the honey garlic dish was a little too saucey. Try it sometime.

Where can you get legit Chinese & Vietnamese food at the same time?
SF Kitchen
First of all, the owner + staff are nice. Service is on the top of my list of things I look for in restaurants.
On top of that, they're efficient and are able to get the food out and take care of the check in a timely manner. Boy, do they get busy sometimes.
On to the food...
I always get their combination pho, and it never disappoints. Their extra large size makes feeding my three kiddos such a breeze.
If you're also craving Chinese, they have great options here.
I LOVE their salt and pepper shrimp. Battered shrimp, deep fried to perfection, coated with a light white pepper flavor, and served with a generous portion of grilled while onions. I always ask for a side of sweet and sour sauce, which is so addicting when combined with the shrimp and eaten with rice. I could seriously eat the whole dish!
They also do a good orange chicken. If you're a foodie, you'll know that not all orange chicken tastes great. Batter, type of chicken, & sauce all contribute to a good orange chicken, and sf kitchen knows what they're doing.
If you're a lover of eggplant, this spot makes it just right, nicely fried and coated with a nice and thick soy blackbean sauce.
The owner of the restaurant is Chinese and was raised in Vietnam. I'm so happy that I get to enjoy both Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine in one restaurant.
I always take my family here and it never disappoints.

Now there is nothing that makes this pace particularly special I chose to come here as I was looking at the reviews but unfortunately I was quite disappointed the service isn't very warm and friendly it was a hassle to get it to go box also too you could tell that they already had pre-cooked the items and just toss them in two different sauces one for the general cell and one for the honey garlic the service is very Bland it's like they're running this place for years and they could care less who comes and who stays the broccoli on the platter was cold and then the sauce was hot and then the rice was lukewarm now I will admit they do serve fast but once again you get what you're paying for the bathroom was worse some gas station bathrooms. This place truly needs to be renovated and they need to upscale this menu especially for the prices that they're charging.

Another tasty lunch! The Vietnamese BBQ rice dish with pork & shrimp was delicious, and the side of hot & site soup was pleasant. My only quibble was with the amount of lettuce, enough/too much so that it felt like filler. Otherwise, a very nice meal with the usual very good service!

The food is plentiful and delicous. There are a good variety of options for vegans and vegetarians. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and their bathroom is pleasant and well kept. And while the food is delicious, their staff always make the experience. It's often too busy for me to consider coming in on the weekends, but I've always been treated well and attended to each visit.
Also, the tofu rolls are banger. Very crispy and delicious with the peanut sauce.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Oct 20, 2022Previous reviewEvery meal was delicious and we were checked on regularly. No complaints! They offer tofu options for any vegans or vegetarians out there, and they're delicious!
