Not sure the last time we've had such excellent food, service and experience. It's definitely top 5. Granted, expect to pay for it, but if you can, figure out how to make it work!

Had their boardgame themed afternoon tea.
The sandwiches and scones were exquisite, the service attentive.
But the sweets were a real disppointment (save the looks) - varying from tasteless shortbread to dry sponge on some of the items, to uninspired chocolate and absolutely revolting marmalade on others. Only the marzipan covered battenberg cube and the toffee chesspieces (on top of said drab shortbread) save the day.
Also they only refill scones and sandwiches once, which is a bit stingy (the sandwiches are tiny).
If it weren't on sale for January and I had to pay the full 40 quid I would have been very annoyed - this is a michelin star restaurant after all and I expected so much more.

For a one star Michelin, this place did not meet up to the regular Michelin standards. Service was not attentive at all. I had to ask every time I needed more water refill. We ordered their course meal and I was not impressed. The food was also not great. Maybe it was a back up chef? Place was pretty empty in the dining area. The bar area ended up getting really loud near the end of the night where all the servers just stood around most of the night. The dishes were kind of bland and had the same green sauce in 3-4 dishes. I was hoping for more variety to their dishes. For dessert, they had a chocolate dish, with 3 types of chocolate, milk, dark chocolate at x% and even darker chocolate at a higher x%. It was just too much chocolate. There was nothing to balance it with. For the wine tasting menu, almost all of them were twist top wine bottles from obscure countries that are not known for wine. Overall..very expensive disappointing meal. Honestly might have been off just going to a pub for some fish and chips.

This was by far, the best meal we had during our week in London, amazing service, and the food was outstanding, our servers were super friendly, and attentive, especially our head server Mantas who explained each dish in exquisite detail, and was delightful to speak with as well. A must if your in London and looking for 5 star service at a reasonable price in a warm, cozy, romantic setting! Cant wait to come again!

      Ordered: Degusatation Menu (tasting menu)

      Price: £80 per head

Review: Came here for dinner with family...and lunch here is pretty good for how cheap it is! The service is impeccable, and the food is meticulous....the tasting course is full of flavour, texture, and colour. Not sure if it is because my father comes here a lot, or because they are just so careful. I enjoy this restaurant so much. It has been my hide out spot for some years. Was a little shy writing this review. The bar here is so quiet, and tea here is divine. I have my favourite spot in the hotel - which I won't share, but it is a true gem in Mayfair. I hope it remains like this.....

My wife and I were in London for her birthday. We had a wonderful dinner at Seven Park Place. As noted, the ambience is very low key starting with the walk up a quiet side street. This is a very small restaurant with two rooms creating an enjoyable intimacy. Our neighbors were also having the tasting menu. As we compared notes, the servers and sommelier adapted and discussed the courses and wines with both tables together. Service was exquisite -- attentive, friendly, informed and completely unobtrusive.

We had the Menu Gourmand -- AKA the tasting menu. The wine pairings were excellent including a Mosel and Gewurtztraminer that we never would have chosen but that matched the scallops and lobster tail perfectly. Each course earned its stars though the seared Foie Gras covered with crumbled ginger bread with a fig poached in port achieved "unforgettable" status. Portions were enough to appreciate the intricate tastes without overfilling. However, the extra dessert tray served with our espresso pushed us over the limit. We needed our evening walk.

All in all, an excellent dining experience.

They serve a fine lunch but slightly stuffy surroundings kind of makes them have to live up to a higher standard... if they like to get my fifth star. Poched egg for starter, ox tail for mains and so on. Fine but lacking a little sparkle in my book.

First of all, this is not a gripe about the service at this restaurant which was without fault....I have just experienced the most underwhelming Afternoon Tea at this establishment. For the price of £40 per head I and my partner were served a selection of sickly sweet confectionery passing for cake. Mr Drabble, the selection of cakes on offer didn't work for me and a neighbouring table full of small children (a great barometer, I find for this sort of fare!) left most of the cakes untouched. I complained to the manager who acted with good grace and calm and reduced my bill by 50%. However, my fine afternoon in London was already spoiled by the substandard fare on offer at this establishment.

Does this have so little reviews because it is THAT upscale and THAT amazing...a true hidden gem of magic to my tastebuds? My husband had originally booked this restaurant and intended to cancel because we had two people drop from our reservation. The restaurant would not allow my husband to cancel without charging him for the reservation so we just decided to go, just the two of us. Rolling up to this small little side street I almost felt like I was going to home in San Francisco with the way the place looked. Very small when you walked in and you walk into this small restaurant area. We were seated in the back seating area (two side booths and one large booth in the middle) we decided to do the pre-fix with the wine flight and our journey began. Every course was amazing! From venison to rabbit to lobster. EVERY bit of it was AMAZING. Things I never ate before or thing I have eaten in ways I would never imagine. The food spoke for itself but the staff made the experience unforgettable. Our server gave us such detail into every course and provided great casual conversation. He was the nicest person ever, and gave us great service. He is also tied for nicest person ever with the sommelier who paired all of our wines. He listened to what we liked, and even switched up the flight to better suit our wine palettes! He gave us such great insight to wine and we learned so much! At the end of the meal I complimented the entire staff on their great service and they stood there SO professionally taking my compliments and I genuinely feel that they appreciated every word. This was probably the best dining experience of my entire life and it would take A LOT to beat it!

      Lobster cauliflower...only two ingredients...simply perfect

The food was very nice, the service exceptional, and the ambiance surprising. Still can't believe I was able to snag a reservation hours beforehand.

For a London restaurant, I was surprised to receive a large booth for two. Exactly the privacy I was looking for, so very pleasantly surprised. Apart from a couple of noisy neighbors, the overall ambiance was elegant and quiet.

I enjoyed the meal, the wine pairings were quite appropriate. I'd recommend the langustine tails with truffles and the lamb.

I think the highlight of the evening was the service. My date thought the service was slow, but I beg to differ. With at least five waiters serving us, I felt extremely catered to. They were all warm and friendly, very professional.

A three course meal with martinis and wine for two at £220. I will return.
