Maybe a little eye contact and "hey guys, we are super busy, but give us a a few minutes and we will help you out"- but nothing. Clearly not interested in making a sale, or creating any rapport with customers.
I hope the person that has
money invested in this business sees this and has a little meeting with his employees-hey guys let's act like humans be cool to people that want to give us money.
Weird energy, and sparse options make this an unfulfilling experience.
Turners isn't much better, but at least there are more options.

Hey Kirk, sorry to hear your experience. It's interesting because we do actually try to make a point to make eye contact with everybody and say hello to everybody as they walk in the door, and to try to converse with the line as we go back and forth getting stuff. I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations today, I hope you'll give us another chance and please also keep in mind that while our shop is small not everything that we have is out so you're always free to text or call to make sure that we have what you want ahead of time we can order pretty much anything

The reason is simple. After I posted my review, the owner personally contacted me. The biggest advantage of a small company is that the owner truly cares about their business and values every customer. Yes, you can directly talk to the owner and get help when you have problems. Brett took the initiative to apologize to me and actively resolved the issues. In the real world, there is indeed no perfect business, and we encounter various problems. I am pleased to come across an owner who is dedicated to their business, respects customers, and actively solves problems. In addition, I would like to apologize for any misunderstandings due to communication when I received the gun today. Sincerely hope that 2A Zone will continue to improve, and once again, thank you!

Thanks for your feedback! We always look forward to doing better. We include the store hours in the text to try to avoid situations like this (you can see them in your screenshot), however I see how that could be confusing. I will talk to the office and see if we can modify the texts we send on Fridays to be more clear about our Saturday hours! Sorry for the time suck on your Saturday, it definitely wasn't our intent!
Edit: upon review, just spoke with the office manager. Because your time was after our closing time you never should have received that message, it was just a human error. Normally we would have messaged you on Sunday to come in Monday for this exact reason and to avoid this exact problem. It was because of this that I may have set my expectations for them too high, especially in terms of customer service. However, today I encountered something that truly disappointed me a lot.
I received a notification two days ago stating that I could pick up my firearm at 4:50 PM on March 9th. The notification also thoughtfully reminded me to bring additional proof of residence documents. Excitedly, I made a 4:00 PM appointment for firearm pickup on March 9th. Before going, I also called to confirm if I could pick up the firearm on the same day, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone.
Upon arriving at the store on time, we waited for another 20 minutes. At 4:15 PM, they informed me that I couldn't pick up the firearm today because I had to sign the firearm release documents after 4:50 PM. My only option was to come back next Monday because they were not open on Sundays. As an unfortunate resident of California, waiting 10 days was truly torturous, and I had to cancel my shooting range reservation scheduled for Sunday.
I ask their manager if it was possible to wait until 4:50 PM to pick up the firearm. He stated that they close at 4:00 PM, even though it was already 4:20 PM, and there were other customers in the store they needed to attend to. They were not willing to let us wait 30 minutes to pick up the firearm today. They even suggested opening an hour early on Monday for us, but they couldn't delay by 30 minutes for us to sign the documents and pick up the firearm today.
I genuinely cannot understand this, and I sincerely believe they could do better. For example, when notifying customers, they could directly inform them that they do not provide firearm pickup services after 4:00 PM on Saturdays. This way, I wouldn't have wasted 30 minutes driving to the store only to receive such disappointing news. I also wouldn't have arranged shooting appointments for the weekend in advance, incurring additional cancellation costs.
Friends who love firearms in California have already endured various policy-related torments, and I truly hope there is a firearms store that can help us enthusiasts as much as possible. In contrast, dealing with the criticized DMV, as long as you enter their lobby, they will process your business even if it's past closing time. I don't understand why a store with numerous positive reviews, with other customers still inside and without officially closing, would be willing to disappoint customers in this way. My review is sincerely just a hope that they can do better and a reminder to other friends not to set their service expectations too high for this store.
Ryan F.Azusa, CA25183Mar 2, 2024I went on Wednesday 2/28 and talked to Bobby and I explained what I was looking for and he showed me 3 options and gave his input on all 3. Not once did he pressure me on buying anything. I came back today on 3/2 right when they opened and I was helped by Shannon. Who was just as helpful and personable. Every employee in there said hello or goodbye. If you've ever been to Turners, Ammo Bros, or bass pro and they treat you like a burden or they look down their nose at you. 2A is the exact opposite. This is the only place I'll go from now on.

You just held up the lines for customers who wanted to buy guns. She ended up not buying anything and left.

Kyle made the buying process incredibly easy and enjoyable. The level of customization offered for any gun I was interested was extremely impressive, and Kyle's communication skills and knowledge made the entire transaction seamless. Unlike some other gun stores, 2A Zone stands out for its smooth and awesome customer service which makes you feel super comfortable. I highly recommend Kyle and 2A Zone for anyone seeking a fast and pleasant purchasing experience. While I had the pleasure of working with Kyle on multiple purchases, it's clear the entire staff/team is committed to providing the best service, and is remarkably friendly. I live 70 miles away so I have a lot of gun shops in between but I can definitely say this will be my shop for all future purchases.

I was recently burglarized 5 times in 10 days while out of town. Even though the criminals were finally apprehended, our current leniency laws set them free right away. One criminal had 28 prior felony burglary charges against her and all the charges were lowered to misdemeanors. After having my life threatened by these monsters, the deputies advised me to get a firearm for my protection. After a diligent search I found this place and it is amazing. They go out of their way to help and surely know their stuff! My firearm is now registered to me and I am going to take classes on how to properly use it. In addition, this place will clean your firearms for a nominal fee which makes it way easier for a gal like me.
Calif has become the wild wild west and we the people must do everything we can to protect ourselves under our 2nd Amendment rights which our governor is so diligently trying to strip us of. It's not law abiding citizens who go through proper channels to own a protection firearm that should be stripped of our rights. Its not law abiding citizens that own firearms to worry about. Guns don't kill. This place is great, staff is super friendly. Brought my younger brother to buy his first handgun. He took his FSC test here.
Staff was super knowledgeable and showed me some riffles.
My brother ended up purchasing a 9mm Glock, he's very satisfied. Highly recommend this shop.
