Love this little restaurant!
We got the onion soup and the broccoli soup. I liked the onion soup a lot, especially the bread on top. The baguette served agh the beginning was warm and tasty!
The main was good too. I got the fish and my friends got steak and the duck leg. All were standard and yummy. The fish was tender and I enjoyed the potatoes a lot! It got good seasoning.
Overall a really good restaurant with good service, food and atmosphere!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jul 30, 2023
Casual small restaurant. I enjoyed my fish appetizer and my companion thought his steak and fries were alright. Dishonestly, they have some specials posted outside that are only available until 5:30. Also, they give you bread plates, but no bread! Nice staff and we were surprised by an aperitif at the end of the meal. I liked their easy listening French Playlist too.

This was a lovely small restaurant, probably locally owned. The wine pour was generous. Duck liver pate with caramelized onion was delicious. Brie tarte was creamy and perfect for sharing. French onion soup was more flavorful than most with cheese crouton easier to eat than when cheese is melted all over. Salmon was properly cooked with a wonderful sauce that I wanted on everything. Mushroom Bourgogne was rich and comfort food. Green salad was crisp and fresh.

The food here was very good! Lots of flavor and left us satisfied. The atmosphere was very cozy and "homey," which we needed after a day in the rain. The one thing lacking is the service - the waiter forgot to log in a dish we ordered, making it late to the table. Also, when asking questions of the menu options, they seemed unknowledgeable. They did treat us to limoncello at the end!

Savoir Faire was a lovely restaurant. I loved the cozy ambiance. There was lots to look at around the restaurant, art on the walls and quotes on the ceiling. Our server was through and hardworking. The food was wonderful. I started out with the grilled goat cheese salad which was delicious, perfect contrast of sweet and savory between the cheese and the apples. I also nibbled on some olives which were very good. There were a few vegetarian main options, I chose the butternut squash risotto which was warming and satisfying. It looks like a huge portion but the dish it is served on is quite shallow so it was just right. The risotto was a bit more garlicky than I expected so if you like garlic try it out! We finished off with the tarte tatin. My favorite part of our dessert was actually the whipped cream, which I suspect is fresh made.

I had the Beef Bourguignon-tasty, perfect portion, veggies cooked to perfection and very very tender and delicious meat.

We visited this place on a whim from finding a very generous Groupon deal. The service wasn't perfect but our server was extremely lovely and highly recommended. The food came out in reasonable time and was wonderful. The garnishes on both main courses seemed to be incorrect, and suggested they couldn't be bothered to do the correct ones (the salmon, for instance, was supposed to be fennel and was carrot, broccoli and potato)
We started with the Goats cheese salad, followed by a Beef bourguignon and their Salmon dish. They were all wonderful, so, especially with the Groupon deal on the table I'd recommend a visit. It only has the upstairs cafe during the day though, which is when we went, but the nicer looking restaurant is downstairs and I assume only open in the eveningsHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Keren P.Sammamish, WA2213Aug 1, 2023
Very cute little restaurant. There was barely anyone there when we went in (a Monday evening) before a show but service was very attentive and good was very good! Very close to Shaftesbury Theatre so would recommend as before theatre dining

TLDR satisfactory French cuisine. But not exactly authentic or creative.
I ordered a three course meal in a group of four. Service was decent.
The lamb kidney was fresh.
But the Bouillabaisse was disappointing as I couldn't taste the fish broth behind the thick and overwhelming spice. The rouille was not served separately so it was partially soaked.
The tarte tartin was good and it was the best among the three courses.
Overall at the price of 30 pounds this was satisfactory but not spectacular. A decent choice in Holborn but I would not go all the way to visit this restaurantHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
